jumping for joy Beautiful looking pair jumping for joy Are you gonna let them be outside of the cage? Because i think the cage is to small to don´t let them get out and fly for some time :)

Welcome & congrats on a beautiful pair of green sweeties    At first I thought that Matz was right about the cage size, but after looking at the pic more carefully the birds are pretty small in there. I think the nice width makes up for any lack of height, the cage actually looks pretty nice. The cage looks about the same size as my Boo Boo & Pesto's first cage. How tame are they? They look pretty bonded.

They are a very bonded pair, they don't like leaving one anothers side for to long  When I first got them if I put my hand in the cage they went bonkers, but I had a bit of a break through last night and actually managed to gently touch Polly before she pecked me. I think if I had Polly on her own she would'nt be to hard to tame but Peter panics and makes her panic. They are gettting better and if they never want to sit on my hand then it doesn't matter, they're still my little babies :)

When I got them they were in a smaller cage but since they have gone into this one they are more active and seem very happy, it would always be nice to be able to put them in a bigger cage but this is about as big as I've got room for. I'm confident they'd never been out of the cage when I got them but they do come out now, although it always seems a struggle for them to find the door to get back in drats Polly is getting much more confident out the cage but Peter rarely comes out, he usually just sits in the door has a look, eats some seed from the seed bowl I put on the outside of the door and goes back in. I'm gradually starting to move the seed bowl on the outside so they have to come out to get to it but Peter will still only come out eat some and then go back in. Polly likes to have a climb around the outside of the cage and have a little fly but landing isn't her stongest point bless her.

Luckily I've only had love nibbles so far, not looking forward to proper love bites but I'm sure its only a matter of time.
