Yes the only birds who generally have mirrors are a lone parakeet. Parrotlets can be very territorial and mistake the image as a rival.

I am amazed that the budgie hasn't had his toes or legs bitten off by the two Parrotlets, unless he has been in their from when they were chicks and they are used to him.

Me too Kev...that's odd that she would put them together....unless like you said they've been together since hatchlings...but what are the odds of that!

They where advertised separetly a few days ago, they she put them as parrolets with budge friend so i'm not sure. Shocking to think someone could of come along and brought them all together then when the parrolets got older, sexually mature then i'm sure there would of been trouble!

This person selling them sounds like there do not know very much about parrotlets at all .
As the others have said i am very suprised to hear that a budgie is housed with a parrotlet especially 2 parrotlets. my parrotlets would not tolerate any other birds ,their even attack Gizmo my love bird who is bigger than them.

I have mine in the bedroom. He doesn't make a sound from when I go to bed until I open the curtains in the morning.
The only time he makes lots of noise is when he wants to come out. If I'm sat in the bedroom (where my computer is) he's usually out with me anyway, but when I go into the living room without him he makes a fuss until I take him in there too.

p.s. That's a nice looking cage.
