Jan, it was the colour that drew me to her in the first place, I'd never seen one as pale as that before. She replaced an albino that unfortunately died very young :(

hi John do all your hens get a brown cere, its just that mine Sky hers never goes brown its always a grey colour and a funny shape like this

excuse the pink face for now :)

Hi Kevin

Pretty much all my hens have had brown ceres, but it does vary from bird to bird as does the actual shape. You will find that as they get older the ceres becomes more wrinkly - I'm afraid old age gets to the most beautiful of birds, just ask Twiggy.... giggle
