She has either got a little bit of seed stuck in her throat which is quite normal or a feather is touching her ear, so that when she scratches her ear it makes her yawn. If you pick her up and gently look where she is scratching you will see her ear she might have a feather touching it :) Quite normal see the budgies doing it all the time :) |

Luna is so cute!! I've seen Spike do this a few times....I always thought he had something stuck in his throat. He always stops after a few minutes. :) |

I always thought they were adjusting the food in their crop when they do that. |

You will see Parrots do this alot they scratch their neck and yawn, it might well be they are adjusting their crops though Bigboy never thought of that. :) |

It could very well be an adjusting of there crops, however they shouldn't do this real often or for long periods of time. It could indicate there is a problem just keep an eye on Luna and try to note how often and for how long. |

Our Jade does it sometimes after a bath, we figured out finally that it's from getting water in her ear. Guess she needs tiny q-tips! |

Luna is a cutie, and I love your accent! All my birds do that from time to time. Hey may be they're trying to burp! |
