Hi All, Am wanting to show off Jackies good work with Tino, he is lovely and settling in nicely. Managed to get a couple of snaps when he first arrived. Am a little worried about the cage size and bar width but I will be investing next month and getting a bigger cage but definatley not until I am confident he has settled in enough with us to change his surroundings. Once he is confident with me enough he wont be in his cage too much as I am planning on having his door open so he can choose if he wants to be in or out. Lets hope the upload works Posted Image Having a swing Posted Image I have lots of toys in my cupboard that I bought for him, do you think you can have too many? or should I put them all in for him to play with? He has 4 in there and some balls on the floor. I have 3 more in the cupboard. I just didnt want him to be over wealmed. Jackie is lovely it was really nice to meet a genuine lady who cares so much for him. Thanks Jackie |

He looks great Kimbo I would put a few more toys in the cage with him, also have a look for some rope perches for him as they like to have different things to sit on and chew. If you have any willow trees near you you can use these in his cage for perches and they are good for birds to chew. http://s10.zetaboards.com/Parrotlets/topic/74050/1/ The cage bars are on the large side well the gap between them I mean but if you are getting another it should be ok for a while Kev |

Thanks for the advice guys... I will put the other toys I have in and I will have a look to replace his swing with a rope one. I will keep a look out for a willow tree too. |

He looks great. The bars do look a little wide, so get that new cage sooner rather than later. 2 blue male parrotlets called Tino living in Manchester. blue2 blue1 Small world eh! giggle Edited by neil29, Jun 15 2009, 07:29 PM.

he's a cuteee, but then he would be being one of Jackie's nodding - Chika says hi to her brother nod2 I agree with the others, when i first brough Chika home i didn't put loads of toys in, but made sure she had plenty of perches that were different. If you can't find any willow, go to any pet shop and they will have wooden perches you can buy, i got one for Chika. |
