A gal that works with me is caring for these birds. Her hubby's boss (or something) was in a major car wreck and is in the hospital for a long time, so they are fostering them. I know the first is an amazon, but dont know what kind. And also, what kind of Love Bird is this? These were just temporary cages until they were able to haul over their cages from the house. They are in them now. Amazon Posted Image Posted Image Lovie Posted Image There is a 3rd one too, but she wasnt able to get a pic, from the sounds of it, i'm guessing either a kak or turq. |

Here you go, Buuz... http://www.wingscc.com/aps/CITES.htm As I understood it CITES I or II tells you if a bird is endangered or not. I know it's a lot more complicated than that, but that's the gist of it. |

Cites also means that the bird needs paperwork to prove what it is and where it came. you can not sell a cites bird with out the paper work Geemz probably knows a lot more than me about this :) |

That amazon needs a larger cage pronto before it starts plucking! I have a budgie in that same cage. Very nice of them to foster the birds though! |

I was just reading about Amazons and the Double Yellow Headed get more yellow on their heads as they get older. So I would think that bird is definitely not a baby, more like a teenager or older. Did you notice that as well, Bonnie? |
