I was sat watching tv last night and the budgies were out doing what ever it is they do, when all of of sudden something smacked me in the side of my face..... it was only Budge he'd misjudged the top of the cage and missed it and I was next in line, made me jump I'll tell you

Pickle and Squeak are doing OK Laura, Squeak has not attacked him but has caught him by the tail a couple of times, Pickle is very weary of Squeak. I think in the end they will be OK but it might take some time for Squeak to accept Pickle as a mate/friend.

Bonnie Frank the yellow face is very big, in fact hes is rather fat I checked him over the other day and he is a very large budgie, Budge at the back of that photo is half the size of Frank. Frank is a big baby though and if picked up he makes a strange crying like sound .... big wuss

Great video & photos Kevo 2.gif 2.gif

It's funny how sometimes they'll have a favorite toy, or something that you think they'd never be interested in, yet for some reason they're fascinated with it

Awe he sounds like a sweetheart Kev. I often thought of getting a Budgie(not Parakeet) I think often here the do a little too much in breeding.

I was smacked on the side of my face by a Mallard duck once...I was on my hands and knees cleaning out my pond filter. He didn't see me and came in for a landing...wing grazed the side of my face...we both screamed and ran...LOL...

great photos!!! Does Pickle spend all night in his tent? I've got one for Naboo but had to remove it because he kept trying to sleep on top of it, with one leg holding onto the tent and the other holding the bars of the cage so he ended up doing the splits....

He gets in his little tent about 7 pm and gets out in the morning after I have refilled the bowls in his cage, sometimes he will sleep next to a blue snuggler he has but really seems to prefer the tent. I wouldn't worry about them sleeping in strange positions they won't sleep if they aren't uncomfortable , Sky my blue hen budgie used to sleep upside down hanging to the cage sides :)

Kermit sleeps clinging to the bars on the side of his cage behind his cuddly, sometimes he sleeps in it, gizmo sleeps under the newspaper at the bottom of his cage, i have tried to stop him, i have even bought him a cuddly but know he likes to sleep under newspaper  strange birds
