Hi Max! welcome to the forum! Unfortunately you cannot keep parrotlets in an aviary with budgies. They aren't colony birds and would be way too aggressive to the budgies. They do best either as singles or as a pair. Even two pairs of parrotlets in a cage or aviary isn't recommended because they're so territorial. Maybe someone else here can give you suggestions on what type of birds would go well in your aviary. :) |

Hi Max, welcome. What Laura said is true, but do you mean that you want to keep just the p'lets all together in an aviary (no budgies)? If that's the case, what Laura said still applies. P'lets are not flock birds & need to be kept on their own or with a mate but not in a flock. You can have more than one p'let, but they have to be in their own cages unless they're a bonded pair. Hope this helps wave |

Hello Max welcome to the forum you were given great advice already. Sadly they cannot be kept in an aviary situation like budgies. |

BIG WELCOME TO THE GROUP Keep the budgies and buy a pair of P-lets to see how you like them before changing over... could save you money in the long run |
