Hi, I'm very interested in owning a parrotlet, and thought this site looked like a great place to get a feel for what it's like to own a parrotlet from the perspective of those who own and love them (and not out to try and sell them to you!). nod2 |

Hello there and a Big welcome to the group So many people here that.. know a lot about P-lets.. I only had mine a year ago.. One thing Id say.. if you want a companion only buy one... Two are hard to bond with... Its lots of fun... but boy they can be quite nasty if you have two together... Im sure everyone will give you very good advise... Just my little bit of help... I have two girls and a boy... I find the boy sweet and the two girls ... well Im still bonding with them!!!! Well trying giggle Good luck with what you decide Jan |

Welcome! I got a parrotlet in November and love her! They can be very strong-willed and if you don't get a hand-raised one, expect some bites but it's so worth it with the great personalities they have. nod2 |
