She's really fitting in well with the family and what a cuddle bug! You'd think she/he's part cockatoo. I have never seen a bird that loved water as much so maybe she's part duck? She wants in the shower every chance she gets, and if she doesn't get the chance will use the tiny water cup on the playgym. I was wondering if a bird can get moldy or drown itself? eek rofl

A dry moment in Mandy's typically teen room.

Here's a pic of the cage Kevin got her. I left the seed guards off until she moves downstairs because I know my hubby and he'd end up banging his leg on it. She also has better perches now and I took out the large one in the pic. I'm leaving a towel in the bottom since she's still pretty clumsy and good thing too, she's already dropped to the bottom a few times. eek

Calypso is a clown   I've never heard of a bird drowning so long as your using an appropriate sized dish for them to play in. Luckily with Calypso liking water so much it should help with the first molt :)

Not all of them are screamers...I think the Suns and Nandays are known for being loud!

Oh yes the Suns can be Very loud and the Nanday also. Sometimes the Green Cheek can be noisey luckily Jo Jo is quite a quiet guy except when he mimics the Blue Jays
