You hit the nail o n the head Laura it does depend upon the bird. Lack of sleep will take time to show the effects ... bad feathering .....plucking etc etc.

We cover our cages, but there's no way the birds would get enough sleep in here as I'm often up late working and Kairi's cage is right next to the computer.. and Kairi also starts telling me about bedtime when it's getting near 9:30.
