I've been giving Mochi a bedtime now of 9:30, where I close up his cage (I let him go wherever he wants during the day.) And cover him up. Also been following the advice in the Training for Good Manners, and he's been getting better. But I just had an interesting problem, I went to put him to bed but he was sleeping on top of his cage... so I woke him up to put him in his cage, just because I wouldn't want him partying during the night and going on my bed and getting squashed! He didn't seem really happy and I'm worried if I did the right thing or if I may have ruined the work I've been doing to resocializing him.

Well, in that situation it's better to be safe and have to take a few steps back.

You did the right thing, Traci! It's too dangerous to leave him outside of the cage. I'm sure he'll be fine with his training :)

I agree I would never leave mine outside of the cage if I wasn't there or if I was asleep
