The first one is better as it is bolted or screwed together the second one I believe is a clip together cage, although there is nothing wrong with a clip together I feel that the first is a better cage and a very good price. Here is a link to 24 parrot who have a good selection of cages

If anyone doesn't think the cage is suitable and knows of any other UK sites selling similarly priced and sized cages (or better) I'm open and would be very happy to see them.

I've checked 24parrots and they have the similar sized cages for more money. The one I posted seems to be a bargain.

I've emailed the seller requesting a manufacturer so I can see some more pictures.

The first cage. I have Boo Boo & Pesto in that very same (or similar cage) "H", the bar spacing is just under 1/2" & it's a great cage nodding 2.gif

It's easy to clean & the food/water bowls are easy to access without opening the cage. If you hang a lot of toys from the roof you can't open it, but that's not a big deal.

A good cage, my son 0163951 giggle

Andy, would it be possible for you to post some pictures of the cage, or link me to some.

The seller won't disclose the manufacturer and don't have any other pictures.

Its the feeder bowls and the tray that I'm interested in seeing.

But if you can't then I'll take your work for it being a good cage :)

Thanks

Harry, here are some photos of the cage. This cage is slightly different and has a different tray, but the swing-out food bowls work basically the same.
Here's the cage...

Side view of cage. You'll see a bolt in the middle of the swing-out food bowl. Andy modified this because the bowls that came with it were too deep. He bought smaller ones and attached them this way.

and the bowl swinging out...

Here's the cage I have for Cricket. It's made by HQ. It's a good, quality cage :)
