Ha, ha, ha!!

Andy does seem to cook up his own special concoctions that no one from either country would recognize! I can't cook all the time because there's no way I could make that stuff. I would gross out! Even the guys at his work think his 'recipes' are gross! giggle giggle

From the ISG website..................... "International visitors to the UK will no doubt be aware that British food – whether prepared at home or in restaurants – tends to be more expensive and appreciably worse than food in otherwise comparable first-world countries. Indeed, the woeful character of British cooking is something of a standing joke internationally."

From George Orwell............... "It is commonly said, even by the English themselves, that English cooking is the worst in the world. It is supposed to be not merely incompetent, but also imitative, and I even read quite recently, in a book by a French writer, the remark: ‘The best English cooking is, of course, simply French cooking.’ "

And who would eat anything with names like.................
* Aberdeen Nips
* Beef Cecils
* Black Pudding
* Bubble and Squeak
* Clapshot
* Cullen Skink
* Dean's Cream
* Fitless Cock
* Flummery
* Girdle Sponges
* Hob Nobs
* Huffkins
* Hunter's Buns
* Love in Disguise
* Inky Pinky
* Knickerbocker Glory
* Marmite
* Priddy Oggies
* Scouse
* Singing Hinnies
* Slot
* Spotted Dick
* Toad-in-the-hole
* Wet Nelly
* Wow-Wow Sauce
