They were not hand-reared or hand-tame when we got them from a pet store [they were in a terrible condition there, which is one of the reasons we bought them] they have slowly gotten over their fear of hands and humans and are getting friendlier day by day now :>

4 months so far.....the female one is a bit tamer [she lets me touch and her and scratch her head]than the male one as she is younger...he is very playful but still very afraid of hands..took almost 3 months for him to accept any millet from me even though I tried everday.

Wow, it sounds like you're doing a great job by your cockatiels. 0163951
My little parrotlets need some taming, I'd be curious what made the biggest differences in your 'tiels behavior. :)

Great job you're doing with them. 2.gif So much patience is rewarding. I'd say your girl is pastel cinnamon too. Very sweet pretty pair! nodding nodding

Hehe thanks :>

I was told she was a cinnamon pearl pied cockatiel

[but I wouldnt turst the pet shop..they kept these 2 cockatiels in a teeny tiny budgie cage without any toys or anything but just food and water..both being very unsocialised and typical mill birds]
