Hi Trish! Welcome to the forum! Parrotlets can definitely live single. Give them a nice big cage and lots of toys and they will keep themselves occupied, of course they will want time out with you too. You can have a pair but they will bond more to each other and may not want as much to do with you. Also not all parrotlets get along together, so if they aren't babies that have grown up together, be prepared to keep them in separate cages if they don't get along. :) |

Hi and welcome to the forum wave , i totally agree with laura , i have 3 parrotlets sky and scooby nod2 past1 who are a pair their are quite tame but have bonded with each other, i also have smurf blue1 she is in a cage on her own but she has plenty of toys and is quite happy by herself ,she is my little baby , i got her when she was about 2 months old and she goes everwhere with me she is silly tame. :bana: :bana: |
