This will not happen now unless you go into your settings and choose this option. Here's where to change it: Go to Inbox at the top right of the forum, then to Message Center, then to PM System Settings. There are three choices, not all have to be changed -- Use PM system - Click YES if you want to get PMs. Yes is the default. PM Tracking - Off is the default Display an Alert when you receive a PM -- (This is the important one -- Check the YES box. NO is the default, so if you don't change this you will not be notified when you get a PM.
