Kakariki I live in Canada My name is Traci	My one friend had a lovebird once and what she had to do to have the bird accept her was she took away the food bowl and would put her hand in the cage filled with birdseed and in a short amount of time the bird trusted her so much- however this was an adopted bird that had had a lot of contact with humans but got ignored which is why she inherited him. I'm not sure if this method is tried and true (and I'm not reccomending you starve your birdie) but this worked for her.
