Hi Rhea, they sound ready to come out of their cage any time now, I wouldn't wait much longer, you want to get them used to you right away. You can start by leaving the cage door open and see if they come out by themselves. Have some sort of treat ready, like millet, or anything they really love to use as a lure. You can tell if they like the head scratches because they will puff up their feathers and sometimes turn their heads so you can reach other spots. If they are really loving it, they close their eyes with their little heads fluffed up, it's really cute! I don't know of a way to tell if they want to go back in their cage. They would probably just fly back to it. :) Our guys love broccoli, corn, peas and carrots. |
