If you are, you can just clip a few more feathers. But first maybe you can let them come out of the cage on their own by leaving the door open and see how they do once they're out. I'm sure we have a photo somewhere on the forum of someone's bird who has just been clipped. I think that might be more helpful than a drawing. I'll go look for it. :)
