It really is a good idea to get any p'let used to going into a small carrier on a regular basis. This way they won't stress on journey's to the vet, etc. We put our guys into a little carrier every now & again, sometimes we take them out to our covered gazebo or just use the carrier to move them around the house just to get them used to going in & not being scared of it. If it's a short journey you can pretty much use any small pet carrier, even a "Critter Keeper" or some such. As long as it has sufficient air holes & a perch. You only need the carrier with food & water bowls for long journey's, although I would use a water "silo" instead of a bowl to avoid splashing & getting water everywhere 2.gif You can always clip a sprig of millet or another treat in there to keep them happy. As Kev, said, they do like to look out the window, etc giggle |
