Hi Alfie, welcome to the forum. Sounds like you have a real sweetheart there!! :) Have you tried hanging new toys on the outside of his cage for a few days before putting them in the cage? I find this helps a lot. Each bird is different, some will warm up to new things faster than others, but Bailey is completely normal. Like Kev said, they tend to like chopped up broccoli mixed with millet. If you have a clip in the cage, you might try clipping a whole piece of broccoli or a slice of carrot. He might be a little scared at first, but later they usually like to attack it! :) |
