As Andy said there will always be those for and against and if we do clip we all have our reasons for doing so. Mine is for the boys safety as its only Squeak I clip as I do feel that some of the males have a show off gene, I have lost one male because he got too fast for the room and ploughed head first into the wall and later died, and I didnt want to loose another.

What we should remember is our birds will never have real freedom of flight as they are pets and in all intents and purpose's are caged animals, so we all have to do what we feel best for them.
