Hi All I have joined this forum in the hope that someone can help me. I have been researching for about 2 weeks now in preparation for having either one or two parrotlets. I am out all day so the breeder who has some babies born April suggested that I have two, one of each sex and then proceeded to give me lots of information about them trying to breed. What I am trying to achieve is a tame, happy bird or birds - can anyone tell me what is best, there is so much conflicting information on the web, some say only one bird which will be happy all day with lots of toys and things to destroy, some say two, some say no to the same sex some say yes to the same sex. can anyone put me straight, I am so nervy about it all that I am tempted not to get them - as I can't get any straight answers. The breeder has not hand fed or handled these babies thanks very much |
