I think everybody who keeps birds should have a small first aid kit, here is a usefull list that i think everyone should have.

Syringe, use this for giving medication, feeding a sick bird, feeding a baby bird if he regresses.

coton swabs, for cleaning a wound

small scissors, for cutting a bird loose if it gets tangled in a toy, trimming feathers if they get caught.

Pin nosed pliers, for pulling blood feathers

Tweezers, again for pulling feathers, or splinters from wooden toys

Cornstarch or flour, for stopping blood when pulling a feather

Nail clippers, for trimming birds nails

A clean towel, for holding the bird

sterile saline solution, for cleaning wounds.

A card with your vets details on it, this is the most important item!

A travel cage, and cover.

This is a link where you can buy a small first aid kit for birds.
