-The scene opens and Frank "The Breaker", in his official duties as a PRW Matchmaker is walking into a gym in Southern California, a camera crew following him and as he walks in, you can see the familiar logo of the LFC, and Alex LeBlanc standing near the pre-fabricated ring in a pair of compression pants and a hoodie. Either due a lack of being able to shave, or a desire not to, LeBlanc sits down on the edge of the ring apron with a leg hanging off as Frank joins him. Frank gets into it as the camera begins to mic up LeBlanc.-

Frank: Alex, I have an idea what this is going to be about, we talked about it a bit before I made the trip out here, but you requested that I meet with you in person. If this is about Proctor, then believe me we are working on our response to the situation.

Alex, still being mic'd up: To be honest, this isn't about that. Truthfully, I've said everything I've had to say about him over the past few weeks. This is more about the past month, whats upcoming and my status going forward. In a matter of speaking openly, I'm wanting to talk more about where this leaves me with PRW.

-Frank stammers and is a bit taken aback, but he levels with Frank, being transparent as possible.-

Frank: I mean, most people don't know this, but you're due for time off within the next week or so?

Alex, nodding: Yeah, some people know, but as it stands it's a combination of things. There's rumors floating around that I've either been hitting the bottle or relapsed again, and while I won't discuss that publicly, I'll leave it by saying that the time away will be beneficial. What I will confirm is that I'm do in for a medical procedure on Tuesday, February 27th for a Torn Trapeziums Muscle. It was something I've put off since Chicago, but was exacerbated by recent events; seeming hanging and thrashing to loosen yourself isn't a good idea with a fucked up neck/shoulder muscle.

Frank: How long are you going to be out for?

Alex: As it stands, the procedure will require some extensive time off and some rehab, so the medical team is placing my return for May for me to be back in optimal shape to compete.

-Frank starts doing math in his head, and starts contemplating things, beginning to realize the potential mess he has on his hands.-

Frank: So then, this would mean that you're quite possible going to be missing the March & April tours we have scheduled, correct?

-Alex avoids the question and he won't even look at Frank.-

Alex: Well, it just sucks because we booked Fight for Freedom with the intention of me being there, and it was a big opportunity. I've pretty much been here since the beginning at this point, I've always been a standard bearer, and this Fight for Freedom was going to be a huge opportunity and something with a lot at stake personally.

Frank: Well, kid, a few eagle-eyed fans have probably noticed that you've been pulled from appearances and signings in the lead-up to Fight for Freedom...

Alex: Drop the bomb on them, Frank. Tell the world why that is.

Frank, matter-of-fact: Currently, you are not be cleared to compete by our medical staff...

-Alex sighs and nods a bit, shrugging his shoulders as Gillespie sits there uncomfortably.-

Alex: Truth is, Frankie? My neck and shoulder are legitimately hanging on by a thread. I can't wrestle, but I can still participate at Fight for Freedom. I can still fight.

Frank, quizzically: Fight?

Alex: I'm still teaching, I'm still training. You saw me rolling around in here and running students through drills.

Frank: Absolutely not, Alex. I cannot allow you to wrestle at Fight for Freedom. That's madness. More from a personal level than from a business level. I have a duty here to protect you from yourself.

Alex, flatly: If I can fight, I can fight. You asked me for the same opportunity once upon a time, Frank.

-The line hangs in the air as Alex smirks and shrugs his shoulders with a wince. Frank looks him over and he's torn, unable to look LeBlanc in the eyes and deny him; knowing full well the heart and the passion that rides in the soul of a true professional wrestler.-

Frank, uneasily: Look, Al. There's not a doctor in the world that will clear you for that event. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't possibly get that done.

Alex, negotiating: Frankie, let's not worry about that. Let's focus on the fact that I'm telling you directly as man to a man that I can wrestle at Fight for Freedom.

Frank: Alex...

Alex: Hold on, Frank. Hold on and let me speak.

-Leaning forward, Alex looks directly at Gillespie and stares directly into his eyes.-

Alex: I came back for this Frank. I came back full time roughly a half a year ago and these type of events have been all I've worked for. I've re-established my name and I'm back at the top of the heap where NOBODY expected me to be once again. I have a window of opportunity that coincides with Fight for Freedom. Post February 27th, its quite possible that surgery may not be an option for me if I leave it to the whims of a medical board.

And forget the fact that I love being out in front of a crowd, forget the feeling it breeds in people like us, Frank. It's also what it is and what it represents. You understand how quickly and how fast this industry moves, Frank.

You understand that if I leave for 2-3 months because I HAVE to for my own health, this industry, this company, PRW as a whole will keep moving forward and I will be left standing still. Superbattle is right around the corner.

Can you honestly tell me that if I leave for 2-3 months, that you'll have plans for me come Superbattle?

-Frank stammers and he's back into a corner, because as confrontational as this may be, Alex has a point.-

Frank: You know this better than anybody, Alex. With the way we tend to schedule things, it would be impossible to guarantee that.

Alex: So then give me this, Frank. Let me heal as much as I can, let me sign for Fight for Freedom and kick the shit out of Proctor in a fight...then you have my word that I'll walk into the biggest show of the year and I'll give you the best fucking match you've ever seen because you'll be forced to have plans for me then. You'll need me on that damn card.

Frank, getting agitated: It's not just up to me, Alex! It's up to Sonia! It's up to the Doctors! I can't do it alone!

-Alex leans in further, almost nose to nose with Frank.-

Alex: Give me something, Frank. Give me a reason to get up February 28th. Give me a reason to hit the gym, to stretch, to rehab, to go to the chiropractor, the physiotherapist. Give me a reason to eat shit for 2-3 months. Give me a reason, Frank. Give me something to live for! You know how this is! You lived it! I was fucking there, "Breaker!".

-Frank sighs heavily, the last word hanging heavy in the air. How can he say no? How can he deny a man when he has been in the exact same shoes? -

Frank, softly: Son...you know that it's not just me. You know I'd love to tell you to kick the snot out of the "Noose Pervert", but I cannot make that decision alone.

Alex: Then take this video and show it to Sonia! Show it to her! As the two people who are running the promotion that I have bled for and shortened my life for over the better part of the past decade, if you can't give me this...

Frank: You understand it's a medical and legal thing, Alex... You know that!

Alex: I'LL SIGN FUCKING ANYTHING! Put the papers in front of me, I don't even need to read it. If the papers mean I fight Proctor at Fight for Freedom, I'll sign it.

Frank: ... I'll.... -sigh- I cannot say "Yes" now, or guarantee you anything, but I need to talk to to them and we need to draw up paperwork. I'll talk to Sonia.

Alex: Show her this. Please just show her this.

Frank: I have a duty to you, Alex. I have an obligation to look out for you. Personally and professionally...

-Alex stops and looks at Frank, placing his hand on his shoulder.-

Alex: Frank, I can fight. I'm telling you that I can fight...

Frank: I'll see what I can do.

-Frank looks at the camera and sighs.-

Frank: Can we cut there?
