As the intro for PRW played out on the titantron, the crowd were greeted by the sight of the various crew members setting up the ring for Tea Time, Paladin's infamous talk show, which last time involved him getting thrown through a table by Mordrad. The ring currently resembled the inside of an elegant cafe, with a table set up in the center, padded seats on all sides, and full plates of scones and crumpets. The centerpiece of it all was a large pot of tea. Paladin thought it was important for his show to bring a little bit of class and sophistication to the PRW masses, and the stage was part of that.

Brunswick: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to PRW rage. We are on the home stretch on the road to Salvation, and Smith, we start things off with a bang with the return of Tea Time with Paladin.

Smith: You're damn right! Break out the crumpets! The scones! Grab yourself a glass of tea and relax as Paladin brings you up to date with everything you need to know about PRW.

Black Knights Titantron

The symbol of the Black Knights came over the titantron, and immediately the crowd began to boo. The mere sight of their logo or the sound of their music was enough to send them into a frenzy. Paladin and Wire emerged side-by-side, this time without their motorcycles, and dressed for the occasion. Paladin wore an expensive suit he was confident no one else in the crowd could afford, and Wire wore a leather jacket. Wire, for her part, seemed underdressed compared to Paladin, but there was no way in hell she was going to wear anything ritzy to the ring.

Paladin stood at the top of the entrance ramp, the Internet Championship around his waist, which he proudly displayed to the crowd. Paladin laughed as the crowd booed, waving to them as though he were British royalty, and made his way down. Wire got onto the ring apron first, holding the ropes open for the large Brit to pass through.

Smith: I sure as hell hope Paladin lets me have a few crumpets.
Brunswick: I never put you down as a crumpet man Smith.
Smith: Me and Paladin have taste Brunny.

Paladin grabbed a microphone and stared out across the crowd, a smile plastered on his face. This was not a joyous smile though; this was the shit-eating grin of a man who knew he had pissed the crowd off, and he was about to rub salt in the wound. "Obviously, you all already know who I am. I am the Paladin, your bloody Internet Champion, and tonight I am accompanied by the Templar Knight herself. For those of you just tuning in, I'll keep things simple for you."

"The only thing you need to know about me tonight is that, because I'm here, Lal Singh isn't." Paladin smirked as the crowd booed loudly, chanting 'Die Paladin Die' after what he had done to one of their favorites. "And personally, I take pride in that. Because no longer will we have to put up with this facade of her being an undefeated and unstoppable wrestler. Instead, she is where she belongs: at home, nursing an injury that I gave her."

"And what can I say about that other than...you're welcome. Now you get to watch a real competitor, and I'm here to bring you the kind of high-class sophistication that Lal Singh never could because she was too busy showing off her legs. Welcome to the most high-class show in PRW history. Welcome to Tea Time with Paladin."
Paladin then pointed to Wire who was still looming behind him. "Now, I'll admit that my last show got off to a bit of a...rocky start. Being so rudely interrupted by Apocaliptica, while all that coward Alexander Owens could do was run away while I was outnumbered. Tonight though, I have someone watching my back, and security is on high alert. So if any of you were hoping that I'd meet the same fate as last time...you'll be disappointed."

"First off, I must confess that I was a bit doubtful about our current guest. You see, regardless of what he might tell you, this man is a loser." Paladin paused, emphasizing that last word. "And sure, I know you all may have enjoyed this match he had with Lal Singh, but let the record show that he sure as hell did not win. And now he thinks that he can take down a PRW staple like Matthew Stevenson." Paladin shook his head. "I'm not buying it. Still, he and I have some unfinished business, so please give a respectful welcome to the man with two first names...Greg Samuel!"

With the crash of the cymbal to introduce the song, the crowd begins to cheer the man who saved Lal Singh from even worse damage at the hands of the Knights. Samuel breaks out onto the stage, taking a brief moment to scan the audience that is showering him with adulation. Samuel is wearing a black bomber jacket over a light gray sweater with black chinos and dull pink converses. Samuel has traded in his normal clean-shaven look for the beginning stages of a beard. Greg's attention quickly turns to Paladin and Templar in the ring, and his face turns to mild disgust as he begins to pace his way down the ramp. As usual, hands are outstretched on the edges of the ramp, but Samuel just doesn't acknowledge them.

Brunswick: Greg Samuel is here and he doesn't look like he is in the mood for a crumpet!

Smith: Perfect! Maybe Paladin will give me his!

As Samuel makes it to the bottom of the ramp, he turns and quickly makes his way to the ring steps. Greg takes three quick climbing steps up the steps and then onto the apron of the ring. Greg climbs into the ring under the top rope and walks past the Knights on his way to grab a microphone, not breaking eye contact with Paladin the entire time. His music fades as the Pine State Pugilist squares up to face the Internet Champion and address him.

Greg Samuel: Two first names. Call me a loser. If you didn't sound like every other person I've stood across the ring from, you'd sound like dead air. Annoying, British dead air.

Smith: He better take that back!

Greg Samuel: Before you get into your whole schtick, I have to give you credit! I'm impressed that you were able to win the Internet Championship. I didn't think it was possible for someone with such cowardice to achieve such great things!

Samuel doesn't break eye contact with Paladin the entire time he is talking, making sure that Paladin knows just how he feels.

Greg Samuel: But by all means, lets gets this over with...

Paladin's smirk never left his face as she stared back at Samuel. The only time his expression changed was at the word "cowardice." That was a perception that Paladin vehemently disagreed with. "Coward? Sammy, I'll cut you a little slack since you're new around here, but if you think that I'm a coward...well, I'm guessing you have a long history of concussions or something."

"Let me lay out the difference between you and me. My debut was at a major pay-per-view where I emerged victorious...no hard feelings my friend. Yours was in a match against Singh that ended in a draw." Paladin nodded to Wire who smiled and nodded back. "And on my second pay-per-view I fought for and won this Championship from the likes of Kevin Mordrad. Suffered what could have easily have been a career ending injury in the process. You, meanwhile, have a match coming up with Stevenson, who I have nothing against, but let's face the facts: he isn't a champion."

"To make things simple." Paladin held up his hand so it was level with Samuel's head. He was considerably sorter than Paladin. "You're small time compared to me."

"Now, I'm sure that this is all stuff you've heard before. I suppose I am being a tad unoriginal. Still, maybe if everyone is telling you these kinds of things, you should start listening to them." Paladin stepped forward until he was toe-to-toe with Samuel. "Here's some advice from a champion to a wannabe. It's not cowardice, it's strategy, and if you want to last very long here...don't bite off more than you can chew."

Paladin stepped back and reached for a scone. He took a long bite, chewing slowly as he stared Samuel in the face, drawing out the moment as long as he could. "Mmm, these things are bloody delicious. Now, tell me Samuel, what is the deal between you and Singh anyway? You got a thing for thunder thighs? Because no matter how I think about the situation, I can't find a good reason for you to come after me to try and protect her. Smart thing to do would be to help me finish her off so you can take her spot at Salvation."

Adjusting the collar on his jacket, Greg looks uncomfortable at this point. Like a caged beast. Samuel runs a hand through his hair, before lifting the microphone to his mouth.

Greg Samuel: I do have a thing. It's a thing called moral fiber. When I saw you attacking Lal in the parking lot, I felt it was my duty to step in because I'll be damned if I'm going to let you and your lackey put someone who I respect out of a pay per view paycheck because you're scared that you're going to lose your title as Salvation.

Samuel's shoulders grow tense, as he is clearly getting wound up.

Greg Samuel: Now if you want to talk trash on Stevenson, I can find some common ground with you there. But don't act all high and mighty when your list of victories include Marshall Cage and your pal Barbed Wire over here. Cage isn't exactly known for being a big-time player and same could be said about Wire.

Samuel stares down Wire for a minute, who glares back. The Maine Attraction backs toward the other table hosting scones and picks one of his own up. He doesn't take a bite of it, instead opting to hold it.

Greg Samuel: The Modrad match, impressive. Beat Lal at Salvation, I'll be the first one to admit what you've managed to achieve. But understand, you can talk your talk, act like you're a smart man when you hide behind a numbers advantage, and wrestle one match a month. That's all well and good, but come Salvation, I am confident in my chances against Matthew Stevenson. And judging by your actions the past week, I don't believe you're nearly as confident about your matchup against Lal. You downplay her because deep down you know that she is inversely as much of a threat as you make her out to be.

Greg lifts the scone to his nose, taking a sniff. His face shows his distaste for the bread. He turns and flings the scone off to the side, landing it right in the lap of Doug Smith.

Smith: Yes! Delicious!

Paladin leaned back against the top rope, looking at Greg incredulously. Greg claimed that there was nothing personal when it came to him and Lal but Paladin wasn’t buying it. It was little more than intuition, but Paladin’s hunches about people were usually correct. Of course, that could just be his ego talking.

“I don’t believe you.” Paladin crossed his arms. “You may claim that you only helped Wire because of some moral fiber, but I find that explanation lacking. There are plenty of people who are being outnumbered and attacked from behind everyday here at PRW. I don’t see you stepping in to save them. Whatever is going down between yourself and Lal, I think it's more personal than even you realize.”

“And I must admit that gives me some personal satisfaction. You may claim that I see Singh as a threat and, who knows, maybe that was true before the Templar Knight injured her leg. But now? She has to fight me without one of the greatest weapons on her arsenal.” Paladin leaned down, looking Samuel in the eye. “And knowing that hurting her will also be hurting you...well, that fact pleases me very much. You won’t be able to step in and save her from me Samuel. Not this time.”

“But...enough about my match with Singh.” Paladin smiled, leaning back as though he and Samuel were old friends working around. “That’s not why I invited you on this show. I wanted to talk about your match with Mr. Stevenson. Not a fan of his are ya?”

Greg Samuel: Stevenson felt the need to attack me after I did a little detective work to see if still existed. He came out here and tried to shake my hand, before attacking me for a reason that I'm unable to decipher.

Greg slides his right hand into the pocket of his chinos.

Greg Samuel: So yeah, not really a fan. I think he's had his minute here, and Salvation is going to see more of the same in the pattern of his career, another loss. It's obvious to me that he can't do research, as he called me a young guy. A simple Google search would reveal that we are the same age. That same Google search would show you that I've been in the industry for 10 years and have wrestled all around the world, and fought on some of the biggest stages. If he thinks he's facing some rookie at Salvation, he's dead wrong.

Smith: Samuel, running his mouth about how great he is.

Greg Samuel: A quick look at some footage on YouTube would let him know that these are some of the deadliest forearms in the game. That I have the most dangerous spinebuster since The Enforcer. And that many people have stood up to, and been put down by, the Fatal Attraction.

"Right, yes, Youtube. Where all of the truly great wrestlers in the world are born." Paladin's voice was dripping with sarcasm. "Frankly, I gotta be honest here, I don't really care. Stevenson barely wins matches, and your greatest accomplishment so far in PRW was to tie a competitor like Lal Singh. Bravo Samuel. Maybe I'm just not impressed because I'm not watching you on Youtube..."

"Regardless, one thing I can definitely say for sure is that with the level of competition around here, I can expect to hold onto the Internet Championship for as long as I damn well please. And for that Samuel...thank you very much."

"That about wraps it up for Tea Time with, your pal-" Paladin winked at the camera. "-Paladin. Samuel, before you go, you really should try some of these crumpets. They're outstanding." The large Brit picked one up and stuck it in his mouth as he began making his way out of the ring. Wire, still by his side, held down the ring ropes to let him pass.

As Paladin passed by Samuel, he deliberately checked him in the shoulder. Samuel grabbed him by his suit jacket, spinning him around, and the two locked eyed. The crowd began to cheer as neither man moved an inch.

Brunswick: Uh oh, looks like things might just turn violent.
Smith: Not smart on Samuel's part, starting a fight with Wire standing right there. Though, I guess you can't expect much better from a man who doesn't like crumpets.

Paladin then smirked, patting Samuel on the shoulder as he walked away. "Don't worry, your time will come." With that, the music for the Black Knights began to play as Paladin and Wire exited the ring.
