Hes back!
The camera pans in on a full SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH. Bane is standing in the middle of the ring. He is wearing his normal jeans with a Billy's Bar shirt and a leather jacket. Bane has a microphone in his hand as he begins to speak.

Bane: This is it folks. I have been asked for over a week who will be in this match. I always answer that you know its going to be me and Alexander Owens and thats all i have been giving away. Tonight you will know what I already know. I have had inquiries to the other two spots in this match. I said it was going to be two former X Division Champions but because of weather issues I had a few bail out on me. So instead I want to change the format up a bit. I want to bill this match as The Past vs. The Present vs. The Future of the X Division. We will still have four men in this match and it will still be an elimination match. I will state that there will be no disqualification and no countout in this match. I hate elimination matches that end that way and a match that I am hosting will not that have idiot stipulation. So I am going to introduce the members of this match and I will let them have their say. Lets get the guy you know out of the way. I present to you Alexander Owens!

Bane points to the entrance way as we await Alexander Owens.

Do Your Worst,I've Heard All The Brokeback Cracks

As the "shotgun" part plays; Owens, dressed in black RYU joggers and crew shirt, santers out the back. His pace is methodical; going from edge to edge of the ramp, drinking in a respectable amount of cheers; dashed in with a few boos and jeers. He takes these in stride, making his way down the ramp; giving high fives and takes a few photos; his regular shtick minus a few notches of adrenaline.

Entering the ring he stands across from Bane, the two eying each other up a down a bit. As his music cuts out he bends to side and is handed a mic. After a final once over, he speaks.

Owens: You know; I’m still reeling a little bit from the fact you actually choose to include me in this match. It would seem you hate my guts and don’t want to damn thing to do with me from some of the things you’ve said about me. But then let’s be honest; I’m not your biggest fan either.

Owens steps a little closer, cueing Bane to do the same. A palpable tension can be felt. Something is broiling somewhere. This setup is calling for nothing but bad blood and wreckage.

Owens: On the other hand, we might not like each other but we definitely know each other. We know what the other can do. We know what the other will do to succeed. We both know that when it comes to this business, this world, compromise is not option. Neither of us are men that back down from challenges. So I guess that why I’m here. And I guess that why I said yes to this. We want a challenge. We want to face and beat the best. And from where I’m standing we’ve got two of the best right here, right now, center of this ring.

This lines draws a conflicting chant of support for both men. A lot of people don’t like Bane but his skills draws respect. Owens is better like but doesn’t always set the world ablaze with his efforts but his skills are also respected. The crowd know these things and respond in kind,

Owens: I guess what I’m trying to say I we may not be friends anymore, we may not be able stand have pleasantries with each other but I’ll be damned if I don’t respect you. And I’ll be double damned if I don’t think you feel the same.

Owens shoots out a hand, looking for a sign of professional and sportsmanlike respect. Bane eyes it for a bit; cautious and contemplative. But eventually he does take it; even if overall it;s less of a handshake and more of test of hand strength and who’s gonna break eye contact first.

Suddenly the respect/measure is interrupted by the crescendo of music. Bane looks up with a smile as Owens simple looks up at the ramp only to see…

TBC: The next guy

Matthew Stevenson

Matthew comes walking out from the curtains with a microphone in hand, he smiles as he hears the crowd chant 'Ice', both men looked at Stevenson as he walked down to the ring, he climbs the steel steps and enter through the middle rope and stands in the ring with both men, the music fainting as he raises the microphone to his mouth.

Matthew Stevenson: Bane, Owens and Matthew Stevenson all standing in the same ring, what a sight! I got to be honest, out of everyone in this ring, I'm the smaller man, both physical and achievement wise and I'm not afraid to admit that.

But when it comes to heart, when it comes to determination when it comes to believing that I can break the glass ceiling then I am the bigger man in the ring.

The crowed cheers as Matthew walks around the ring, he then stops in front of Bane.

Matthew Stevenson: Last time we fought, I almost beat you in the center of this ring, if I didn't make that rookie mistake then you would've had another mark on your loss count.

He looks over to Owens and stares him in the eyes, he cracks a smile as they stare each other down, they doesn't break eye contact with each other, Matthew raises a microphone to his mouth but doesn't say anything as he puts the microphone to his side, the continue the staring contest until another entrance music breaks out, probably the last person in this fatl 4 way match.

"THROW UP YOUR RAWFIST
IF YOU'RE FEELING IT WHEN I DROP THIS!"

Brunswick: OH MY GOD!

The audience in the DCU Center can't control themselves as they almost drown out the stereo system with their cheers. The three men in the ring, break their intense stare down and turn quickly to face the stage, confusion (and a bit of fear) crossing their face. Alexander Owens and Matthew Stevenson step back, having only seen this legend on TV, and hearing the stories backstage. Breaking from the other two, John Bane leans against the ropes closest to the stage and beckons the PRW legend to come down.

Smith: How long has it been since we've seen The Inquisitor in PRW? Is he planning to compete in this X-Division match?

Brunswick: I don't know, Doug. The last time we saw The Inquisitor was as PRW Commissioner. He hasn't competed in a very long time

The seeds of doubt are planted by the commentating team as "Rawkfist" continues to play out. Finally, after much build up, the man himself, The Inquisitor, steps out onto center stage dressed in a black suit with a red, button down shirt, the top button left open to reveal his clavicles and a hint of grey chest hair. A microphone is cradled in his right hand as he looks out over the stadium. Chanting for their returning Hall of Famer, the crowd are ecstatic to see The Inquisitor in a PRW arena once again.

The Inquisitor saunters down the stage until he reaches half way down and then stops. He looks to his left and right, before grinning, and throws his left fist into the air, pumping it three times. The crowd all pump alongside him before returning to try and get a high five from PRW original. Within the ring, Bane, Owens, and Stevenson have collected themselves slightly and now await The Inquisitor's presence alongside them.

Brunswick: I can't believe this. The Inquisitor. Back in PRW.

Smith: He has come to answer John Bane's call. Bane wanted the past, the present, and the future of the X-Division to be represented in this match and by god he has been granted his wish.

Having taken up enough time on the ramp, The Inquisitor steps into gear and walks down the ramp and up the stairs, before stepping over the top rope and landing in front of the three, at least to him, PRW rookies. The music fades out, leaving the arena buzzing from the crowd's raucous reaction to The Inquisitor's return. As Inquisitor steps to the center of the ring, the three men instinctively step back for even Bane and Owens, at their towering height, are dwarfed by comparison. Bringing his microphone to his mouth, the crowd hushes slightly to hear what The Inquisitor has to say.

IQ: I...uh.....heard you were looking for some...."Ex" champions.

A stupid grin crosses The Inquisitor's face as a collective groan ripples through the audience. Owens and Stevenson crack a smile but Bane is still serious business.

IQ: Oh ease up, John. Life advice, you'll give yourself wrinkles if you furrow like that.

John doesn't seem to appreciate Inquisitor's tone. This is his moment to bring the X-Division Championship to a whole new level and this "legend" is making a mockery of him.

Bane: What do y-

IQ: -ou think I'm doing here? I'm answering your challenge. You wanted to see the best that the X-Division had to offer and Takato Kazama is on leave, so you'll have to accept the second longest reigning X-Division Champion instead. Me.

The Inquisitor points into his chest, a chest that has been through more battles than Bane, Owens, and Stevenson could even imagine. The Inquisitor held the record for longest reign for seven years before being taken over by Takato Kazama. There's no ill will between the two, but it does sting just a little.

IQ: I make it a habit to watch the new talent in PRW, maybe a holdover from my time as Commissioner, and I've watched all three of you quite closely. You have all impressed me in different ways and lately you have been putting out quality that not many others can match. You want a past champion in your match? Well, there's no one better than me.

Bane: Okay, that's where I'm going to have to cut you off.

The PRW legend is stunned as The Franchise steps in unexpectedly.

Brunswick: The absolute nerve of John Bane. Unbelievable.

The crowd begin to pepper Bane with boos as he continues.

Bane: When I was looking for The Past, I wasn't expecting Old Man Time to literally come out here. I was hoping for some of the old school talent who could still go. Maybe Jason Garrick or...oh I hear Devlin Rok and Gunnar Wuher are back, even they would have been good choices. But you? I'm afraid you'd go into cardiac arrest just stepping through the ropes.

The disapproval from the audience in the DCU Center grow in intensity as Bane insults the Hall of Famer. Owens and Stevenson have decided to let these two hash it out and don't really look like they plan to interrupt.

Bane: I appreciate your effort though. It can't have been easy breaking out of the old age home. I'm sure there are some mighty worried nurses searching the streets of Death Valley looking for you.

IQ: That's real cute John. Keep ragging about my age. It will only make you look stupider when I beat your skull in on Pay Per View for the world to see. You want to put your title on the line? Fine. But don't let your ego get in the way of what matters. There's no point in being the champ if everyone thinks you're a little bi-

Inquisitor is interrupted by a slap to the face by The Franchise. The crowd "oooh" as the legend's cheek reddens from the impact. The show of disrespect is met very quickly by The Inquisitor as he scoops Bane onto his shoulders. Whatever he was looking for, though, is never realised as Bane begins to elbow him in the side of the head. At this point, Owens and Stevenson have come forward to pull the two apart. As Inquisitor puts Bane back on his feet, Alexander pulls John to the side and Stevenson places his palm on Inquisitor's chest, the most effective move he can think of when attempting to hold back the giant of a man.

Brunswick: Things nearly got out of control here but it appears that Owens and Stevenson have done the right thing and kept these two away from each other.

Smith: I don't know what they're thinking, Josh. Let Inquisitor and Bane hash it out right here, right now. It could only provide them with the advantage come Bloodletting.

Brunswick: Owens and Stevenson want a fair fight for the title. They wouldn't accept a win over an injured champion and that's what makes them great. They also respect the position that The Inquisitor has carved for himself over the years in PRW. They want Inquisitor at 100% so that they can potentially grab a win, and a championship, over a PRW legend.

With The Inquisitor in one corner being "held back" by Stevenson, and John Bane being held back by Owens, it looks like this segment has taken a turn for the worst. Fortunately, a commercial break is imminent and the commentary team are able to segue.

Brunswick: The tension's are high right now but we can confirm that at Bloodletting we will see the X-Division Champion, John Bane, take on Alexander Owens, Matthew Stevenson, and the returning Inquisitor in a Fatal Four Way Elimination match.

Smith: If tonight is anything to go by, this match is going to be a potential Match of the Year candidate. I can't wait.

The Bloodletting graphics showing the match confirmation appear on the screen before fading out for commercial break.
