-With the PPV over, the inevitable media scrum takes place and as with the finality of every event, the champion has a moment to say a few words behind the podium, the head honchos speak glowingly about the gate, ticket sales and the fantastic action we have seen tonight, but soon, the podium and the table clears and noticeably alone as he walks up to the podium is the man who recently told the Professional Wrestling World that he was returning; Alex LeBlanc. -

-Walking up to the podium as a defeated Joey Nox is walking off, still showcasing the scars of war, Joey gives him a quick, "You sure you wanna get back into this?" before playing punching him on the shoulder. The two brothers exchange a sentient, meaningful hug, and there's a few wors exchanged privately into each other's ears that aren't for the public. Joey nods along as ever the older brother, Alex is speaking directly into Joey's ear. Alex lets go, ruffles Joey's hair a bit, and Joey steps aside, patting Alex on the back and telling him to do his thing as dozens of flashbulbs begin to pop. Sitting down at the table, discarded water bottles still on the mahogany wood, Alex settles in a bit.-

Reporter: Alex, it's great to have you back, and we all saw your announcement not too long ago, but why now? After so long away, what's the purpose of your return?

Alex: As I stated previously, there's something about this business that gives us the creative license to escape, to create and to build. I feel that at the current moment, that part is missing from my life and I feel that I still have the ability to create. The landscape has changed since I last was in competition, but I still feel like I would have something to offer going forward.

Reporter 2: Cristy Vincente, Boston Globe, You note that the landscape has changed; in what ways do you believe they've changed?

Alex, clearing his throat: Honestly, people have grown. Jesse Drive is a champion and defeating Hall of Famers where as before I left he was on the upward climb, but still waiting for his breakthrough moment. Marshall Cage is cashing in on his potential. Ata has cemented her place as a Face of this company, and there's numerous youngsters who are competing at a high level and causing PRW to thrive.

-There's murmurs in the crowd as noted Black Suit Outlaws reporter Dan Stevenson rises out of his chair and asks THE question.-

Stevenson: Alex.

LeBlanc, chuckling: Danny, nice to see you.

Stevenson: You owe me that sit down.

Alex: You have my number -laughs-.

Stevenson: You want to elaborate on what you told Nox just there?

Alex: Honestly? No. He just went through a war and with what this business builds for you and what it takes away, you have to be reminded sometimes by an outsider of what you just went through and what your actions actually represented. Let's get it straight: There was absolutely no shame in what Joey Nox put forth tonight.

-At that moment, Cristy Vincente pops up again and asks a follow-up question that gets everyone to fall silent, the young reporter digging in her heels for hard-nosed journalism.-

Vincente: Alex, is there a timetable for your in-ring return? Who are you gunning for? What's your end goal? What comes next?

Alex, chuckles to himself and responds: If Professional Wrestling isn't art, then why do we spill blood and sweat upon a canvas? What we project onto that Squared Circle is often months and years of our absolute best and worst moments. It's everything we pull from ourselves and everything we beat into the pavement and into a 16 x 16 ring with every bump and tumble.

In that ring, I created ART for you people for years, but there was always one portrait, one masterstroke left unfinished. The piece that always could have been finished, that always could have been met with some finality and some closure? That was Alexander Owens.

I've come back specifically because there's unfinished business here, and because seeing Professional Wrestling as my art, as my way to express myself, as a canvas upon which I paint? Then there are rough edges within this life, as much as my personal life that need to be smoothed over before I'm completely satisfied.

I want another go with Alexander Owens. I want the Rubber Match. I want the third fight for finality and deep down, I'm sure he wants it to.

Why Owens? Why now? Why him first?

I'll tell you in the sit down, Cristy.

-With that, LeBlanc gets up as the flashbulbs pop and LeBlanc has left more questions than answers, but with one very sentient point hanging over this media scrum: This isn't over.-
