In the middle of the ring, a lone table sits along with two chairs. Josh Brunswick is standing in the middle of the ring by the center of the table. His demeanor is that of seriousness as Josh Brunswick begins to speak.
Brunswick: Ladies and Gentlemen, here tonight we witness the signing of a highly anticipated match between John Bane and Marcus LeVine. Now LeVine is not here tonight and Bane has stated that he wants Marcus's fiancee to sign the contract for him. So first I would like to introduce John Bane.
Bane enters the ring to his entrance music. He looks very confident as he enters the ring and takes a seat in a very comfortable looking chair. Out next is Cassie Sykes. She looks very weary of Bane as she enters the ring and takes the other seat. A contract sits in front of Cassie as Brunswick begins to speak.
Brunswick: Now I understand that there is a bunch of bad blood in this ring right now. I will ask that both of you be civil while this contract is being signed. Lord knows there is going to be enough blood being spilled at the show. Lets just leave it there.
Bane sits back in his chair and smiles. more than likely thinking of the things hes going to do to Marcus LeVine in this death match.
Brunswick: Just to remind everyone, including the participants, this is a Death Match. There are no rules in this Death Match. This match was very close to being considered non-sanctioned but there have been assurances from both sides that PRW will not be held responsible for whatever happens in this match and it has been added to the contract in front of the both of you. So Mr. Bane, go ahead and please sign your name on the contract.
Bane quickly signs his name as he slides the contract over to Cassie as she looks it over for a few minutes. She gets a very sad look on her face and signs the contract as well. Bane watches with sadistic glee as she signs over her fiancee to the waiting and well bloodied hands of John Bane. Brunswick raises the contract in the air as Bane snatches the mic from Brunswick. Bane looks at Cassie and smiles as he speaks.
Bane: And just like that, it is official. You have signed your fiancee over to me. A dinner date in hell. We booked this reservation a long time again and now its finally come to fruition. You signed that contract, knowing what I just did to Alexander Owens and what I did to Owen Drive. And you did it without any hesitation at all. I know you have your orders from your idiot fiancee. I did not want this match Cassie. I want you to know that before hand. Marcus brought this on himself. He was like Icarus. He was given wings to fly but he was told not to fly too close to the sun because the heat would melt the wax and he would fall to his death. The first thing he did was get too close to the heat and now his wings of wax have melted and he is in a free fall to his death. At Summerfest his free fall will end and he will go splat. The only difference between Icarus and Marcus LeVine is no one will give a shit about Marcus LeVine.
Bane extends his hand and wants Cassie to shake it. She does and then slaps Bane across the face. The slap almost causes Bane's neck to whiplash as he looks back at Cassie. Big mistake as Brunswick exits the ring quickly and Bane stares at Cassie. Bane then smiles and says that its ok and he understands. Cassie pulls away from Bane's hand as Bane pulls her back and puts her through the table with the Bane Breaker! Bane has lost control as he starts flinging parts of broken table out of the ring and then Bane does the unthinkable. Bane backs into the corner. We saw him do this to Alexander Owens. He waits for Cassie to get to her knees and then drives his knee right in the side of Cassie's head. Bane grabs the microphone from the mat and speaks.
Bane: Where are you Marcus? You caused this. I told you what was coming. I told you I was going to destroy your past, your present and your future. I have already destroyed your past and I just destroyed your future. At Summerfest I am going to destroy your present. Welcome to hell Marcus LeVine. I hope you enjoy your stay.
Bane flips the mic to the outside as he exits the ring to a chorus of boos and medical personnel and officials coming to check on Cassie Sykes.
As Bane walks up the ramp, he's stopped halfway through as the arena lights go black. The arena erupts into cheers as everyone in the arena figures out what's going on. Everyone's eyes go towards the stage, and then to the titantron has words begin to pop up in blood red, seemingly coming from The Leader of the Wolf Pack.
Bane.
Are you trying to scare me?
All you have done.
All you have
Ever
Done.
Is make me angrier.
As the camera comes in, all we see is warping static. Along with the sound of static, we can hear screaming, and the melody of a piano. As the camera warps again all of the static and screaming disappears, but the piano remains.
The camera then comes to the home of Marcus LeVine, a much more warped image of the classic mansion LeVine has shown the world, the windows shattered and boarded up, the plants dead and grey. The entire world seemed grey now as the cameraman had the unfortunate task of entering the slightly familiar twisted home inside. The foyer was demolished, and corpses lie everywhere. The piano grew stronger with every step forward, and the cameraman followed the noise.
He was lead to the dining hall and inside was a scene that Marcus had done ages ago, a viscera strewn corpse laid across the centre of the large dining room table, and the rest of the room was covered in this blood, meat, and bones. The piano wasn't there though.
The camera moved into a bloody hallway, discarded pictures, shattered glass, torn wallpaper were as far as the eye could see. None of that is what stood out, however, what truly stood out was the blood splatter, bones, and viscera that were the iconic time stamp of the Maniac of Montreal. The farther the camera walked into this never-ending hallway, the louder the piano got. With each step, however, the blood became fresher, the viscera more packed, and the piano was barely covering the sounds of already muffled screams of terror. The camera began to glitch: bursts of static, skipping footage, and in the corner of the screen was just blackness as if the camera had been broken.
The camera reached the main foyer, and the screams were louder, and it was clear where they came from. In the centre of the frame was Marcus LeVine, his back turned, playing the piano. On either side of that piano, were bodies. Still alive, their screams growing louder at the sight of the cameraman. This only served to hurt them, as Marcus slammed his fingers into the keys, signifying the end of his "song."
The arena watching this footage waited with baited breath, hoping for something, anything from this return to the Maniac. The only thing we were treated to however was Marcus's head turning halfway towards the camera, a sadistic smile plastered on what we could see of his face, and a fiery red glint in his eyes signified that the Monster was in full control.
The screen went black again, the crowd was conflicted between cheering for the Monster, or simply being horrified at the imagery.
Inside the ring, however, there was only confusion. Cassie Sykes had disappeared from the ring, leaving a team of confused and bewildered medical personnel behind.
Brunswick and Smith began to speak at commentary.
Brunswick: "Bane, I hope you know what you've gotten yourself into."
Smith: "Marcus, I hope you know how to keep control. Ladies and gentleman, we'll keep you posted on the health of Cassie Sykes, that is if the medical personnel figure out what happened to Sykes."
Brunswick: "I think we all know what happened to Ms Sykes."
