Let's Tell The Truth About PRW, Shall We?

SaviourSelf
Seasoned Professional
Bastards,

I write you this letter not to rip-off the modus operandi of the man who quote-unquote "trained" me, but rather to get a point across through the only medium presented to me seeing as Project Horizon and PRW are both too cheap, too self-serving to old stars and too enamored with their past to give me camera time and a pulpit to speak my truths.

You see, the thing about me that is hardest to admit, and hardest to swallow is the fact that if you really think about it, if you really use your noggin for more than flippin' burgers and drinkin Brawndo, you would realize that I am like every person, every wrestler that the PRW fan-base and the IWC at-large, would adore.

The truth is, I love wrestling. I love this profession and this support to a level that most would find admirable in their independent stars or the heroes upon whom they lavish ridiculous praise and notoriety. The only difference between myself and well... Alex LeBlanc or Sean Aries or any of those "shiny new toys" that Project Horizon has presented the IWC is the fact that I took a different route.

Hell, I love wrestling just as much as Alex does, as Joey Nox, Aries or Razer does. I love wrestling as much as every fan who writes on forums, on website and on Reddit. The only difference is that I didn't wrestle in an armory or a bingo hall for 5+ years to prove it. I got in another way, I went through PRW's Wrestling School, worked hard, got a shit gimmick, made it work and learned my craft while on PRW camera; which seemingly drew the ire of the fanbase because somehow I didn't "work" for it nearly as much as some of their favorites.

Regardless of the hate, I worked hard, and I attained the goal that the fan-base and the IWC has for all of its flavors of the month and all its favorites. I ascended, I became one of the best-talkers in the business, I garnered success in this business, I held a title, I became memorable and I achieved the dream that you all have for your little "bingo-hall warriors".

I learned to tell a story better than half of your damn roster. Hell, I even landed a gorgeous girlfriend, some gigs across the globe and have even been able to use my fame to transcend into other avenues and ventures; which somehow was a curse because again, making it without the blessing of the fanbase, because I didn't do it THEIR WAY...was a curse.

I'm the success story you want out of all your underdog stories in Professional Wrestling. I began with nachos and liquid cheese dumped over my head after having to be Ace Andrews "lounge act" to get an opportunity upon graduating from a "Performance Center" where the trainers were never present, one in which Alex LeBlanc and Joey Nox were claimed to be trainers, but we spent more time with no-name luchadors and Alex's striking coaches than anybody else.

How I got on television and how I succeeded playing a shit character despite the odds stacked against me, and how REAL AND HONEST I am now while still executing a high level of ability has made people unable to admit that deep down? I'm the type of wrestler and the type of man that you're supposed to root for.

You hate to like me because I came from a different avenue, and because I didn't pay my "dues" like LeBlanc or Nox or Razer or Aries. You hate to like me because at the end of the day I make you question whether your heroes are honorable warriors for their hard work, their dedication and their loyalty to this business...or whether they were fucking idiots for killing themselves in a bingo-hall for $40 pay-days like a bunch of suckers.

But you LOVE LeBlanc and his vanity projects and his departures from wrestling because he has manipulated you people into to believing his shtick and his sales pitch for years and everyone, be it the fans or PRW, have lapped it up. He has convinced Joey Nox that he's a "friend" to him even though he's taken multiple shots to the man's head with a chair.

He's convinced the fanbase that he loves them and that he would never leave, but at the first sign of a dollar has left, be it to sign with Showtime or somewhere else; such is the mark of someone who believes in "Hard Work & Dedication".

You love LeBlanc because he takes all his successes and he puts them on a marquee for you, framing them in a way where he makes sure you see them; he ensures that you know about every hospital he visits, every charity he does and every promotional campaign he's a part of. He lets you know that he's the face of SPARTA and it's no coincidence that he opened his vanity project standing center-stage, belittling and putting his roster beneath him.

You wanna know truths? I've been on the same media tours, visited the same hospitals, done the same charities. And when LeBlanc was too damn scared to fly overseas to meet with troops or too "tired" to do another soup kitchen or another school assembly, it was myself, Kenny Coples, Thomas Driver and the rest of the "expendables" who picked up the slack. We never publicized it, never mentioned it, never looked for fame or adulation from it because we TRULY love this business and appreciate the people who put money in our pocket.

We worked without a marquee for years as LeBlanc's ego and his need for attention and vanity constantly pushed himself into the forefront. Every time we achieved success, here was Alex coming back from another failed retirement to knock us back down the totem pole. Every time we had a gimmick that was written and ready for us, there was LeBlanc to cut it off at the knees and make it his. For every moment that a new stable was formed, a new tribe created, or a Florida Rumble won in some grandiose fashion?

There was a Alex LeBlanc politicking behind the scenes to get a spot, to get a revision, and to get some sort of stroke in the way things were going to go.

Yeah, well enough's enough and Alex can "stroke" me.

Vincent Knight & myself have assembled a team of killers, a team built from shadows of Alex's past, people he belittled, besmirched and condescended to; "The Expendables", if you will. We built a brotherhood of those slighted and affected by the vanity and the need for the mirror and the spotlight.

You already saw what happens when we cut the lights.

Yours,
-Cameron Locke
