UPDATED 2/08/13

Welcome to Professional RPG Wrestling(PRW)! The subsequent sections contain the rules of this e-federation that we ask all members to adhere to. Understanding and obeying these provisions will ensure an enjoyable time for all. Please review the following and address any comments, concerns or questions to a Staff Member.

I. GENERAL RULES
This section contains the "bread and butter" conduct rules for PRW. Know them well.

1.) PRW is a turn-based, match writing e-federation that accepts ORIGINAL CHARACTERS ONLY.

2.) Handlers may control as many wrestler/manager characters as they wish, however, there is a limit for active characters. Handlers may post as either two singles characters or one singles, one tag team barring exceptions.
---2A.) Handlers may use a SINGLE forum account for ALL of their characters OR they may use MULTIPLE forum accounts for EACH of their characters. Managers excepted. This is to avoid confusion.
---2B.) Handlers MUST post wrestler profiles in the "Wrestler Profiles" forum BEFORE they may enter active competition.
---2C.) Similarly, stables or tag teams should submit their profiles in the "Group Profiles" forum.
---2D.) Only active characters may take bookings for matches or promo. If you wish to make a new/separate character active, a character in your handler stable must become inactive.

3.) Respect the judgment and authority of the Staff Members and Referees. Take up any problems you may have with them in a civil manner through mediums such as IM, PM or E-Mail.

4.) Respect your fellow board members. To avoid unnecessary conflict simply treat others as you would like to be treated.
---4A.) Refrain from posting sexist, racist, overly insensitive, derogatory or threatening comments directed at members on these boards.
---4B.) There is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy in place when the life of a member is threatened.

Noncompliance with any of the aforementioned or subsequent rules in this thread will result in punishment. Punishment will be at the Staff Members' discretion.

II. ROLEPLAYING & CHARACTER RULES
This section contains roleplay standards and what is or is not allowed while controlling your characters.

1.) Post ANY and ALL roleplays in the “Roleplay Board” forums ONLY.

2.) Keep roleplays literate and at least a paragraph long. (6 Sentences)
----2A.) On 24/7, the word limit for match posts is 1000 words.

3.) Keep roleplays realistic. Superhuman or supernatural tendencies will not be tolerated. (I.E. Disappearing in a cloud of smoke is acceptable but striking someone with a bolt of lightning is not acceptable.)

4.) Keep roleplays somewhat clean. Lewd scenes depicting fornication and excessive cursing will not be tolerated.

5.) Refrain from posting Out-of-Character(OOC) comments in roleplays or matches other than your own.

6.) Be wary of using characters other than your own. Ask for a handler's permission before using their character(s) if you have any reservations.

7.) Character deaths/kills and the breaking of bones will NOT be allowed UNLESS agreed upon by the respective handlers. Staff inquiry will ensue if suspicion arises.

III. MATCH RULES
This section contains basic match procedures to be followed in PRW.

1.) Professional RPG Wrestling(PRW) is a turn-based, match writing e-federation.
---1A.) When involved in matches, handlers will need to dictate the action in a turn-based fashion while attempting to win the match through pin-fall, submission, disqualifications or other special decision circumstances.(I.E. The first character to bleed in a First Blood Match.)
---1B.) The 36-Hour Rule - Between each turn, a handler MUST allow a minimum of 36 hours to pass before they may post again. In non-tag team matches with more than two wrestlers, there is no specific order in which handlers must post.
---1C.) Handlers may only enter one match at a time with exceptions given out as necessary, with permission from the booking committee, where one handler can enter multiple matches on a pay per view. As such, if a handler is in a match on the pay per view, they are barred from taking matches on 24/7 until the conclusion of their pay per view commitments.

2.) Referees are the ONLY members allowed to make the aforementioned decisions in a match. Basically, handlers may attempt to win the match but ONLY the Referee can decide if enough has been done to warrant a win.
---2A.) The 12-Hour Rule - Between each turn, after a win attempt has been made, ALL handlers involved in the match MUST allow a minimum of 12 hours to pass before they may post again and escape. This is to allow time for the Referee to make a decision.
------2A[1].) Finish Conditions - If a handler posts with the tag [FINISH ATTEMPT], then only the ref can follow the post, either continuing or ending the match. The "finish" post conditions are to the poster's discretion and do not have to be prompted by a finishing maneuver being used BUT a logical break in which the poster believes there is no other outcome.

3.) In tag team match matches, ALL handlers involved MUST tag in and out through written word. If any character in the match is not tagged in, their win attempts are not valid.
---3A.) Handlers may tag FRIENDLY or OPPOSING members into the match during their turn.
---3B.) Teams must post in turns, not individually. If one team member posts, the other must wait until the opposing team has posted.
---3C.) The 36-Hour Rule and 12-Hour Rule still apply.

4.) Matches CANNOT be ended by the handlers UNLESS all involved have agreed upon it.

5.) Interference by outside handlers is ALLOWED but limited to TWO posts per match.
---5A.) You must get permission from at least ONE person involved in the match before you may interfere
---5B.) If the Cyanide Champion is involved in a match and an attempt is made, the interferer must get permission from the Cyanide Champion before they may post an attempt.

6.) PRW Rules Match - Any bouts assigned these stipulations allow the use of weapons. Standard rope breaks, count outs and knockouts still apply. Outside interference and low-blows still warrant disqualification if "caught".

IV. CHAMPIONS & CONTENDERS
This section reviews contender rankings and contender/champion obligations.

1.) As of 09/01/2012, PRW employs a point ranking system to determine contenders for singles titles excluding the Cyanide.
----1A.) Round-Up Review - Earning "points" does not necessarily go to a match winner. At the end of the post period (after each pay per view) the Round-Up Review (calculating matches and outcomes) will determine how points will be dispersed.
------1A[1].) Appeal - If a competitor was not awarded points but feels they should have been, they may try to appeal to the staff. However, the burden of proof lies on them as to why they should be awarded the points and in the appeal. NOTE: the appeals process ONLY applies to point awards and NOT match decisions. All match decisions are final once closed.

2.) Three points for X-Division, five points for Undisputed.
---2A.) All one-fall matches are worth one point barring a "wager." The winner gets a point.
-----2A-1.) In the event of a "wager" match, the competitors reserve the right to challenge for a certain amount of another competitor's points, the "ante." If both parties agree, there may also be a "raise." Whomever wins the pot collects not only his/her opponent's betted points, but also the said point for winning the match. The loser loses said points.
---2B.) Still barring the "wager," no one can lose points in a match.
---2C.) No competitor can go "negative."
---2D.) Once points are "cashed in," said points are gone.
---2E.) Elimination-style bouts have a separate point breakdown. First fall equals no points, second fall is one point, ect.
-----2E-1.) Battle Royales only award one point to the victor.
---2F.) If only one member of a tag team posts consistently in a match, only they will be awarded the point. This is at the Administrator's discretion.
---2G.) The Superbattle Match is worth no points. The winner shall receive an Undisputed Championship match at the next PPV.
---2H.) Predetermined matches/finishes are a no wager/no cost (unless agreed upon), this includes title bouts. Gaining points in this instance is to the discretion of the staff doing the round up but may allow for both parties to gain one point apiece for collective effort.

3.) Former champions do have a rematch clause. They may re-challenge the competitor they lost the championship to ONCE before having to work their way back up to the No. 1 Contender’s position. The Administrators will decide when and where the rematch will take place if it is utilized.
----3A.) Under the rematch conditions of a title match, should the challenger/former champion/Wrestler A regain the title from the then champion/Wrestler B; Wrestler B does not earn a rematch.

4.) The Administrators reserve the right to force a championship or contender's match at their discretion.
---4A.) In the event of "doubling-down" (earning twice as many points than what is needed in order to receive two title shots back to back), the offender will have to "double-up" in order to receive another title shot (earn twice as many points in order to cash in). He/She will also lose all previously earned points.

5.) No showing a championship or contender spot match will result in the loss of the championship/contender spot for the respective characters as well as all points.

6.) No-shows and jobber matches are worth no points.
----6A.) Squash Rule - in matches where there is a severe skill discrepancy, the Review board has the right to deny points to the match winner. This is to the Review board's discretion.

7.) The trial center is a try-out board designed specifically for new characters. This not only includes new sign-ups but also new/reintroduced characters of established posters. All posts in 24/7 by new characters will be moved to the trial center. It is a point-free zone in order to avoid "point mining."

8.) Refer to each championship title page for "Championship Specific Rules".

- Undisputed Championship of Internet Wrestling
- PRW Tag Team Championship
- PRW X-Division Championship
- PRW Cyanide Championship

III.) Referees are to have a clear understanding of PRW's rules and match procedure. They are expected to be on their best behavior at all times.

IV.) Referees are to be knowledgeable of the competitors within the matches they preside over. Familiarity with members and their characters alike will help overall in making sound decisions.

VIII. FOREIGN POLICY

2.) Citing other e-federations through roleplay is allowed. However, blatant linking attempts are not. The Link Whoring forum may be used for that.

3.) Any damaging acts commited in the name of another e-federation, not covered by the aforementioned rules, will result in a permanent ban
