With PRW's "We Did It First 2: The Retcon" only 5 days away, fans have been buzzing about the lack of hype and promotion for the event. Since the press conference, PRW offices have gone silent about the event. Fans wondered if the event had been cancelled or perhaps if PRW offices had lost faith in the show. Not that it could've had anything to do with a live PPV the week before that needed promotion right? Never the less, PRW offices have in fact remembered about their iPPV from the Oncenter War Memorial. All week we'll be releasing material about the iPPV in anticipation of the event on Saturday, October 27th!
Working Toward The Weekend Monday Edition: Team Preparation
Today, Monday, October 22nd, we're going to find out just what the teams have been doing to prepare for the upcoming PPV event. With so many teams competing on Saturday Night's event, set to air on iPPV, it's reasonable to ask just what these guys are doing to get themselves ready. After all, old wrestling logic dictates that the team that stays together gets the payday together. How are PRW superstars preparing for the occasion? What new unorthodox techniques are being used to build chemistry? We've asked. We've got answers. Some we wished we didn't get. None the less, let's find out what the teams are up to to get the leg up.
The Most Hated Team Since The Miami Heat Members: Matthew Logan, Terry Bukowski, Devlin Rok, Matt Hardy and Ninja MAGIC
Despite MAGIC's concerning performance at Uprising aside, MAGIC has been hard at work with his team to get them ready. The group works out together, watches film together and even finds time to attend Matt Hardy's independent wrestling promotions together. After each performance, they criticize it and dissect it to perfect it. Bukowski tells us that the meetings are both informative and strict with the goal being to get Hardy sharp and ready for his PRW debut. For leisure time, the team is coerced/asked to read copies of Matthew Logan's "This is Wrestling" manifesto cover to cover. If a group member refuses to read it they instead have to watch a collection of Ata Tutupu interviews as "punishment." The idea is to build mental toughness and an idea of unity days before the 5 on 5 main event war.
The Onslaught Members: Patrick Slaughter, Josh Barnett, Takato Kazama, Horestes Girotti and Travis Levitt
Patrick Slaughter admitted that PRW Uprising but a temporary halt to their team building. With Levitt, Kazama, Girotti and Pat all preparing for high profile match ups, the idea of building a team was put on the backburner. Those events out of the way, the group has resumed its plotting for the big iPPV. They have wrestling and grappling practice (led by Barnett, a BJJ black belt and reknown wrestler) followed by a Patrick Slaughter led strength and conditioning practice and then finally a group meal cooked by Takato Kazama. The idea isn't to change up their routines much beyond making them group oriented. Pat feels like the biggest benefit of their group is comfort. Considering Kazama, Slaughter and Girotti have worked together on The Breakthrough and Levitt, The Onslaught and Girotti all grew out of the midcard together. The idea is getting Barnett up to speed and they feel that the group is doing that well.
NWA: Niggaz Wit Avery Members: 6Pac Shakur, Sean Avery, The Masked Acessasin and Big Donnie
According to NWA leader 6Pac Shakur, nothing has changed The team rides together, visits brothels together and snort coke together. The group has even given each other "fitting" nicknames; Sean Avery is "the Smilin' Criminal", The Masked Acessasin is "Tha Watcha" and Big Donnie is "Respected Criminal". The team spends their time watching re-runs of Hangin' With Mr. Cooper for leisure. Their main idea of "training" is going to IHOP for a major breakfast and then heading to a shooting range where they "pop caps" into targets resembling Sean Aries and Lil Donnie. 6Pac refused to divulge more into their strategy and hung up when asked how the Masked Acessasin fits in.
Dey Shootin Members: Sean Aries, Joey NOX, Cliff Compton and Adam Graves
How does the team featuring all around good guy Adam Graves and hockey head Sean Aries prepare for the most intense 4 on 4 war ever? By playing hockey, of course. Every day Aries takes his team out to play hockey with local neighborhood kids in Philly. They play hockey for a while, play X-Men Arcade on the XBOX 360 and work on PRW invasion contingency plans. Aries is said to be in an insane surly mood after his match with Ninja MAGIC but tends to balance that by enjoying his time on the ice/street rink/table. As for Joey NOX, he's working on his conditioning to be prepared after a lay off. The team has admitted that they're not focused on getting Adam Graves up to speed and instead are going to let him use the No DQ rules to do whatever he feels like. The group seems to be keeping it relatively light on intensity as they try to avoid a mental peak prior to Saturday's event.
Team Real Men All Men Members: Lord Hentai, Danshoku Dino and The Christopher Street Connection
Team Real Men All Men have spent their time watching film. That's pretty much it. Watching film and playing video games. What games? According to Lord Hentai, Rumble Roses and Dead Or Alive are at the top of the gaming lists. The team tried the Ballad Of Gay Tony but found it offensive. Their film habits? Such illustrious titles as Rei-Lan, Kekko Kamen, Midnight Panther and Cool Devices. When asked if they had studied any film of their opponents, Lord Hentai brushed off the idea as "silly" and said he's "building group love" before watching any "illegal" footage of his opponents.
B Cup Rack City Members: Sylvia Wrath, Emily Hart, Ata Tutupu and Alex Mesa
It should come as no surprise that Sylvia Wrath has her team focused and trained for this event. Wrath runs a 2 hour training regimen with her team, even allowing other female wrestlers in on the act to keep the idea of gender unity, not necessarily team unity. The training features cardiovascular, strength and of course, wrestling training. Also an unorthodox way to train, Sylvia Wrath has paid top dollar to have independent wrestler Delirious brought into the camp. Delirious' job? To randomly attempt to spit mist in the eyes of the trainees to simulate Hentai's tentacle inkings. The crew has also watched a lot of early 90s Spiderman cartoons to try and predict the movements of tentacles. Also to get a good idea on the fashion culpability bowl cuts.
Multi-Culture Squad Members: Serial, Mr. Turner, Malik Logan and Andre Holmes
Using his money from "various" sponsorship deals, Serial has been paying top dollar to try and find ways to motivate his team. These ideas include hiring military speakers who have been through war times, civil rights leaders who believe in cultural and racial unity, Fabricio Werdum, Joe Gibbs, Jon Stamos and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. Serial hopes that these unorthodox techniques will help build a trust and understanding among the team members. According to Serial, the responses have been all positive to his unorthodox techniques.
The Xclusiv Canaries Members: Adam Xclusiv, Canary Kid, Verdugo and Mark Graves
The Xclusiv Canaries were quieter when discussing their team building. At first they denied that team unity was even necessary. Canary Kid and Adam Xclusiv both admitted a dislike for one another at the beginning of their team and they were successful partners. They feel talent wins out over teamwork. When asked if it had anything to do with the "diverse" personalities of Verdugo and Graves, Adam Xclusiv hung up on us. Canary Kid says that they've done THINGS together but not in the interest of team building. Canary Kid insists that these activities are merely in the interest of timing and not something as silly as "team building". Verdugo of course refused to comment.
We're Goin Over Members: Sherri Taylor, Evelyn Vaughan-Levesque, Jenna Jett and Natalie Mendes
The team's captain makes the calls as Sherri Taylor mentions that nobody on her team so much as goes to the bathroom without permission from her. She runs the team and is comfortable in her decisions. Taylor has set a weight mark for her team (which she refused to divulge) from promised that anyone who weighed in over that mark would be fined by her. Jenna Jett has also been in touch with Matthew Logan on strategic tips of teamwork and relaying them back to Sherri Taylor.
Small Bomb Big Blast Members: Bella Quinn, Basemah Peeples, Gemma Traumaward, LCW Emily
Bella Quinn has experience with all female tandems and says she's using the strategies that helped push VPo3 to the top with her new team. This includes making everyone feel as though they have a place in the team and making them all feel like a group. Quinn invited her team to live with her in her apartment and has given them all tasks to help them feel like they're appropriately being included in the group. Basemah Peoples, a loner used to doing things on her own, admitted that it took time but she's feeling like she's apart of a solid core. The team also watches footage of their opponents together to try and build a gameplan for their match.
Awesome Buttsex Members: Johnny Awesome, Sexxxy Eddy, All Money Is Legal
Johnny Awesome has admitted to letting his team do its own thing. Sexxxy Eddy comes (and comes again and again) in to do some training and hit on Johnny Awesome's girlfriend. All Money Is Legal shows up when they're not tied to their required indy bookings. Awesome thinks the laid back loose atmosphere helps the team gel while not forcing them to act like a team.
Boob Bangers Members: Nicholas Atknight, The Headbangers and Chaos The Clown
Despite Chaos The Clown being a veteran and his constant asking "why am I on this team again?" all the time, Nicholas Atknight has been hard at work to make the team feel like....well....a team. Atknight pays out of pocket for team building exercises, something he feels like build cohesion. The activities range from taebo training to bowling to dinner on the town. Some may accuse Atknight of trying to buy friends but Nicholas feels like the activities are necessary to get guys to trust one another over a short time period. He even has "pet trading"; a member of a team loans a pet to another member for a day to see if the member can be trusted. Only one pet has yet to be returned, Atknight's goldfish Mickie who was lent to Chaos. Atknight feels the program was a success even if he doesn't ever get Mickie back.
The Masters of Rap Members: Prince Charming Chazz, Jaycee Vega, Tommy Staxx, Jimmy "The Snake" Roberts and Terry Funk
Even the prelim teams are getting in on the act of group unity. Every night, the team known as "The Masters of Rap" go to an underground rap function where Prince Charming Chazz and sometimes Terry Funk perform. Well everyone except Jaycee Vega who is conspicuous by his absence. When asked by Staxx, he figures Vega is just preparing on his own. The masters of rap often become masters of psychology, spending plenty of late night visits to PRW HQ to watch video tape and analyze matches.
I Heard You Were A Wild One Members: Jaycee Vega, Cage Chaos, Jimmy Snuka, Raider Rock and Bubbalicious
This team has a difficult task of bonding without knowing whose side Jaycee Vega is on. Is Jaycee Vega a member of this team, the one he captains, or is he a member of The Masters of Rap? For his part, Vega has denied being on The Masters of Rap and has gone out of his way to prove what team he belongs on. He's been at every "closed door session" The Wild Ones run and has been the spear header for every activity they've run.
Stop by every day this week for a new story on PRWrestling.com as we lead ourselves into We Did It First 2: The Retcon!

WORKING TOWARD THE WEEKEND PART TWO
THE X-FACTOR
You hear about it all the time in sports. It's the X-Factor. No, not the Waltman finish. The X Factor has been defined as "A variable in a situation that could have the most significant impact on the outcome." Dante Hall, famed NFL returner, was known as the X Factor due to his ability to change games on returns. What is the X Factor in wrestling? Does such an X Factor exist? We believe it does. We especially believe it does in a match where there's so many variables and participates. How DOES a team or 4 or 5 battle to survive without an X Factor? It's impossible to not have one trend, skill set or attribute that can sway the tides of war.
We've spoken to industry experts, PRW vets and thrown in our own personal opinions as to what they and we believe to be the X Factors for the 14 teams competing on Saturday nights "We Did It First: The Retcon" card.
The Most Hated Team Since The Miami Heat vs The Onslaught
The X Factor: Fragile Minds
There were many routes to go to with this team. From their championship experiences to their age and veteran experience of The Most Hated Team Since The Miami Heat to Ninja MAGIC's mental state since his break up with Scott Baio. The Onslaughts pressure in their first REAL main event as a group. Josh Barnett's foray into American Pro Wrestling after a successful MMA career. Instead we'll put this all together into one X Factor known as Fragile Minds. Where WILL the minds of all 10 combatants be? We've heard of their team building exercises but all 10 men, in one way or another, have something heavy on their minds heading into this battle. For all the talk of focusing on the task at hand, how believable is it?
-How focused will Slaughter and Kazama be if Rok and Bukowski walk into the arena hoisting their belts up high?
-Will Bukowski, a hot head of the highest order, be able to reign himself in in a match where one mistake can swing the momentum over to the other side?
-Can Ninja MAGIC get back to being Ninja MAGIC even after his disappointing performance vs Sean Aries led to questions about his mental state?
-Will Horestes Girotti, noted loner, balance his will to win with his burning desire to stand out among a combined 10 talents? Will Girotti shake his reputation as "me first" player and how heavy does his reputation weigh on him
-Is Matt Hardy even going to show up? Or will he pull out in another run of bad career decisions starting with talking to Lita cardboard cut out?
-Will Josh Barnett be overwhelmed by his first "serious" professional wrestling match?
-Will Matthew Logan play ball? Or is he so absorbed in being Matthew Logan that he'll let yet another opportunity to be a leader go by the wayside?
These are teams will a lot on their plates. The tensions and the stakes are high. There are egos at play and egos can wreck a sinking ship. How long will it take for teamwork to by the wayside in favor of going hero? The X Factor isn't one single wrestler or one single aspect in this match. It's a proverbial powder keg waiting for the fuse to be lit by single, innocent match.
NWA: Niggas Wit Avery vs Dey Shootin
X Factor: The Man They Call Aries
Prior to Uprising, the focus was on Joey NOX. NOX's shape is up for debate and while we have no doubts the former Undisputed champion is working hard, it's never a good sign when a (semi) retired champion is focusing less on match prep and more on weight watches. After Uprising though, the X Factor for this contest is entirely champion Sean Aries.
Let's not mince words. The current PRW Undisputed Champion is upset. Taking it a step further, Aries is irate. He worked his way to the title shot by beating Xclusiv, Pat and Wrath. What he found at the top of the mountain that is PRW was a disinterested champion who was resting on his laurels. Aries dispatched MAGIC but was it worth it? Fighting and hurting close friend Sylvia Wrath only to find a shell of the man who had taken out NOX and LeBlanc? Potentially wrecked friendships in the quest to slay a dragon, only to find a shriveled up Gex imposter? As if that was not enough, Sean was attacked by Ace Andrews in his 40th attempt at ruling the world that is PRW. Aries wasn't shocked that someone would ruin his moment....but he couldn't hide the surprise that Ace had come out of his hiding hole in Las Vegas to ruin his special night. After all, wouldn't a Vegas Playboy have better things to do on a Sunday? And after months of hearing about PRW's "New Generation", Sean Aries found not a new rival but an old skeleton from his closet, poking its bony finger in his face once more. Shit's bad enough to make a grown man scream.
Aries is upset and looking for vindication, both in the eyes of the fans but also spiritually. The opportunity to bounce back comes quickly at "We Did It First 2: The Retcon!" 6Pac Shakur has proven to be a nuisance...but could Sean Aries' mental state and desire to once again steal the show turn a nuisance into a full blown problem? Sean Aries has often been criticized for not having any passion. Now the problem may be he'll have too much against ae calculated, respectful opponent. Aries lured good friend Joey NOX out of semi retirement for this match. Embarrassing NOX, Graves and himself by blowing the elimination match would be the rotten cherry on top of the shit sundae that has been October for Aries.
Team Real Men All Men vs B Cup Rack City
X Factor: Size. Does It Matter?
Frequently it has been debated if it is the size of the boat, or the motion of the ocean. When Team Real Men All Men face-off against B-Cup Rack City at We Did It First 2: The Retcon!, the eternal question will finally be answered. The maiden made tandem will definitely not be up to size in comparison Hentai’s warriors, but B Cup Rack City may be just as (if not more) talented than their y chromosome having opponents. I guess we all truly find out if wrestling really is a game of inches at We Did It First 2: The Retcon!
The Multi-Culture Squad vs The Xclusiv Canaries
X Factor: Talent vs Teamwork
It's been made no secret that The Multi Culture Squad may be on the short end of the talent totem pole compared to the Xclusiv Canaries. Especially when it comes to how hit or miss Andre Holmes and Malik Logan have been. With that said, The Xclusiv Canaries have two men teaming together who dislike each other...and we haven't even discussed Verdugo and Mark Graves yet. Canary Kid and Adam Xclusiv are held together almost entirely by their love of winning. What will they do if Graves and Verdugo find winning a secondary goal and prefer to wail on each other, teams be damned? The MCS will be able to work as a group. The Xclusiv Canaries will be relying on everyone in their team bringing it solo to make one, forming like a Voltron bot. The question is whether doing it in a group is TRULY better than doing alone?
We're Goin Over vs Small Bomb, Big Blast
X-Factor: Seeing Red
The most accomplished of the eight, is Captain of We’re Goin Over, Sherri Taylor. The four-time PRW Women’s Champion has all the tools to be a fantastic leader, but can the inexperience youth that makes up the rest of her team oblige to Taylor’s fiery fist? As with any female athletes there are also “natural” factors come into place. Painful cramping, bloating, and a lack of patience may all play a role in who comes out a winner, and who is left a bloody mess.
Awesome Buttsex vs Boob Bangers
X Factor: Class Warfare
Johnny Awesome has mastered the art of the here one day, gone tomorrow attitude of some PRW members. Awesome, one of the many with flex contracts that allow him to compete on lower level promotions, disappears without a trace, working small federations in the Southern part of the United States. He'll return, claiming to be anew and then disappear as quickly as he arrived, collecting a check in the process. Some might say Awesome is the picture of entitlement, a superstar who allows his talent to do the promoting...and not the unsavory results of his work.
Compare that to Nicholas Atknight. Originally signed as a cruel joke by The Inquisitor, Atknight has found a way, talent be damned, to compete in PRW. He might not always win but he tries hard and improves. The fans have accepted Atknight as one of their own and have even done a Kickstarter fund to replace Atknight's now lost goldfish. Atknight is the embodiment of hard work beating talented that refuses to work hard. PRW's opening match may represent more than just lower level undercard guys trying to make a living.
It'll represent a class warfare between talent (Awesome Buttsex) and effort (Boob Bangers).
Masters Of Rap vs I Heard You Were A Wild One
X-Factor: WHOSE SIDE IS HE ON?!?
Jaycee Vega. The man who will attempt to rep two jerseys come "We Did It First 2: The Recton". Or will he? Vega is adamant that he is NOT a member of The Masters Of Rap team, even going so far as to burn a fan made poster of the team for his Tumblr account. Meanwhile the Masters Of Rap continue to claim that Jaycee Vega is a member of their team. Even PRW executives just shrug their shoulders and go "we don't know" when asked about this match. Just whose side is Jaycee Vega on? That will be the ultimate, deciding X Factor for this contest. One team is going to be severely disappointed come Saturday night.
*Special thanks to Serial for pitching in a few ideas and even writing a paragraph or two. He owes me one for that time I did that thing for him way back when before he did that thing for Sean way back when. He knows*

Working Toward The Weekend Part Three
Knowing Your Strengths
When team captains were asked to put their teams together, clearly a gameplan was in mind for each one. What would be targeted? Who? What was the profile of the wrestlers and athletes asked to participate? What was the goal for making these teams up? Obviously each captain has to believe that their team possesses a certain trait or characteristic that exemplifies their strengths. We've spoken to the captains and have come to a consensus as to what each teams strength is.
The Most Hated Team Since The Miami Heat
Stength: Experience
Every team has a varying degree of experience. What makes The Most Hated Team Since The Miami Heat special is just how deep their experience is in comparison to their opponents. Matt Hardy and Matthew Logan are lifers in the professional wrestling business. They've seen it all and been through it all. Devlin Rok has been wrestling since he's 18 years of age and has been involved in high profile, high level matches. Finally you have the mysterious Ninja MAGIC who has experienced the highest of highs; the PRW Undisputed Title. These are all men who are experienced and will not wilt in the face of the pressure cooker that is a main event spot. Compare that to Slaughter, Kazama, Girotti, Barnett and Levitt...who have ONE main eventer on their roster in Patrick Slaughter. Girotti, Levitt and Barnett have never main evented a show in PRW and Barnett will be making his PRW debut. If pressure does burst pipes, the Most Heated Team Since The Miami Heat will be able to withstand the pressure.
The Onslaught
Strength: Power
While Slaughter, Kazama, Levitt, Barnett and Giroti will enter this match on the wrong end of the experience (or championships discussion), they will have the edge that most people consider to be the strongest of all; power. Patrick Slaughter is a freakish athlete with an insane mix of strength, size and speed. Horestes Girotti's cardio and strength are arguably second to maybe Patrick himself. Josh Barnett is used to tossing around 240 lb men in wrestling and BJJ competitions. While Kazama and Levitt are not known for their strength, they are capable athletes who have respectable strength. This is a big, physical squad that can muscle up with any five men on any roster in today's pro wrestling scene. The Onslaught will be carrying the lumber into this battle and will look to use it consistently against the Most Hated Team Since The Miami Heat.
NWA: Niggas Wit Avery
Strength: Unpredictable
Who knows just what to expect with this team? The unexpected nature of 6Pac Shakur is why Sean Aries is so flummoxed about this squad. What is 6Pac Shakur capable of? Sean Avery is one of the most well known agitators and trouble makers in pro sports. If Avery is as annoying and rambuctious in PRW as he in the NHL, it's a question of not what he'll do but how much of it will he do in an effort to throw Aries off. The mystery of the Masked Acessasin, a performer PRW has never seen before. Big Donnie is known for his trademark unprofessionalism. How will he respond to the bright lights of PRW? This entire team is a mystery wrapped in an enigma with no track record to rely on. They could be a group that plays by the rules or a group that shows up and does things that break even the most lenient rules in PRW. They could be professional athletes looking to compete or they could arrive and raise hell, thugs looking for a war. The unexpected, unpredictable behavior is their strength heading into this match.
Dey Shootin
Strength: Familiarity
While Sean Aries and Joey NOX are not best friends, they do know and respect one another. There's an unspoken bond between the two as the remaining stalwarts of a PRW era long gone by. There will be no questioning who is on whose side when the bell rings. Aries and NOX have teamed together in multiple shows and Cliff Compton is a long time friend of the group. Even Adam Graves, a retired hockey player, has bonded with Sean Aries after working together in the community on youth hockey leagues. Everyone knows one another and while Graves and Compton may be unfamiliar with life in PRW, they are familiar with their partners for "We Did It First 2: The Retcon".
Team Real Men All Men
Strength: Size
We already used up all of our penis size jokes on Tuesday so instead allow us to play this one straight laced. For Hentai, Buff E, Mace and Dino, this is a match where they'll have an easy size advantage over their four female counterparts. They're bigger, definitely stronger and at the very least, will require a ton of energy to move around. Sylvia Wrath is no stranger to getting in there and throwing down with men twice her size....but how will Ata, Mesa or even Emily Hart respond to opponents who don't go down when they hit them? If Team Real Men All Men is to win, size is going to matter. See? We still got one in there.
B Cup Rack City
Strength: Determination
There's power to be gained in a struggle beyond victory. Beyond getting your hand raised or your shoulders on the mat. It's the knowledge that you can conquer any obstacle whether they're of someone elses designs or of your own doing. For B Cup Rack City, the entire group has in one way or another risen above the expectations. For Sylvia Wrath, it was breaking away from Violence, Party of 3 to become her own star. For Emily Hart, it was shaking off the "ditsy do nothing" label cast upon her by people who only knew her from holding Sean Aries' bags and heating up his TV dinners. For Alex Mesa, it's breaking into PRW at a time where "her type" of girl is overexposed and flat out rejected. Ata Tutupu has gone from "Onslaught groupie" to respected female wrestler who fans are happy to see. These women have all fought greater obstacles in their careers which have made them stronger and in turn, identify their strength; the determination to be better than the expectations laid upon them.
The Multi-Culture Squad
Strength: Diversity
No, we don't just mean cultural and/or racial diversity. Each wrestler in the group in his own way brings something unique and identifiable to the table. Serial's ability to conquer lucha libre style wrestling while still being able to handle American wrestling crowds and psychology makes him versatile and beloved by all. Malik Logan is a high flyer who can strike and do submissions. Mr. Turner has learned versatility the hard way after being handled by more well rounded wrestlers. Andre Holmes can strong style while still being able to fly on his own. The team is versatile and carry a united mindset of "every little bit helps". Everyone on the team is diverse and to quote DDP, that's a good thing.
The Xclusiv Canaries
Strength: Upside
Only one man on the Xclusiv Canaries has been Undisputed champion and that's team leader Adam Xclusiv. Everyone else on the team has yet to climb the mountain top and outside of Canary Kid, noone else has tasted the ever alluring nectar that is PRW gold. Graves and Verdugo have less than a years worth of work in PRW under their belt. For some teams, that would be a death knell. For the Xclusiv Canaries, it's a sign of how much upside this team possesses. Canary Kid has long supplanted Patrick Slaughter as "the next Breakout Star" of PRW and his time could be coming shortly. Verdugo and Graves are young talents who haven't been abused by PRW's rigorous training and traveling schedule yet. They're fresh and hungry to prove their place in the company. None of these men, even veteran Adam Xclusiv, has hit their peak or their stride in PRW. The rollercoaster that is their careers is still inching upward, not close to the agonizing ride down. This team has upside and promise...and those can go a long way in the ring.
We're Goin Over
Strength: Sherri Taylor
Rarely is one person a strength on a team of 4 but Sherri Taylor is the exception of many rules. Often cited as the brains behind the Xclusiv Canary tandem, Sherri is conniving, manipulative, intelligent and one of the more crafty superstars in PRW. Sherri has mastered the art of getting what she wants and getting people to do what she wants. A leader in her own way, Sherri is the captain for a reason and has all of the qualities necessary to lead her team to a win.
Small Bomb, Big Blast
Strength: Measured Expectations
It's reasonable to suggest that this squad is coming into this match with less than positive chances. Just the name, "We're Goin Over" would make most opponents nervous. Many fans are writing off Small Bomb, Big Blast....but that's a good thing really. All of the pressure is on the bullish Sherri Taylor, allowing Bella Quinn and her girls to simply hope the pressure causes an internal burst for the other team. They have nothing lose and aren't expected to win. That gives them all of the motivation necessary to shock the world with a fiery explosion come "We Did It First 2: The Retcon"
Awesome Buttsex
Strength: Anger
As a great, wise wrestling man once said, embracing the hate is a good thing. Johnny Awesome is by far PRW's most hated superstar. He is despised by everyone except his mom, Malik Logan and whoever signed him to a lifetime contract. His compatriots aren't necessarily fan favorites either and the backlash to the debut of All Money Is Legal hasn't been rough. One fan wrote an email about the signings, headlined "Did I Get Skullfucked back to 2005?" while another asked "Was John Walters and/or B-Boy busy?" The team has a lot of haters and in this case, it can only benefit them. Johnny Awesome has often ranted about showing up his haters and this match will be a prime opportunity to. He and his team will have to use every onus of negative energy to defeat Boob Bangers in the opening main card contest.
Boob Bangers
Strength: Momentum
Nicholas Atknight has long been the lovable loser of PRW....until recently. After defeating Mr. Turner on PRW TV, Atknight can no longer be called a loser or a joke by anyone anymore. His victory is an indictment of this team; a momentum riding gravy train. The Head Bangers have come out of retirement and were welcomed with open arms by indy promotions on their road to redemption. Chaos The Clown is coming back and rumored to be in the best shape ever. The kickstarter fund for a new goldfish for Atknight has garnered close to 800 dollars thus far. This team is riding a glory wave and the hope should be that all of those positive momentum moments are a sign of a destiny win over Awesome Buttsex at "We Did It First: The Retcon".
Masters Of Rap
Strength: Rap
How can rap be a strength? When your entire team is down with the hip hop scene, it can create unity. A unified interest and love leads to a happy team. Even Jimmy The Snake Roberts is tuning in to Sucka Free Sundays to catch up on the latest hits. If Charming Chazz can ever convince Jaycee Vega to attend one of his rap sessions, this team will all be on the same page for their love of rap.
I Heard You Were A Wild One
Strength: Confusion
While Jaycee Vega attends every practice or training session the Wild Ones have, it creates a sense of doubt amongst the Masters Of Rap. Is Vega on their team or is he a Wild One? It appears he's on the Wild Ones...but as long as he's listed on both rosters, one team can use the confusion over the other. Count on the Wild Ones playing the numbers game at the PPV.

Working Toward The Weekend
Part 4
The Decider
George W. Bush once referred to himself as a Decider. While what he decided may be up in question, the term "decider" has become apart of our snarky lexicon. Now we're going to bring it into PRW. On today's edition of "Working Toward The Weekend", we're going to discuss The Decider for each match at this Saturday's "We Did It First: The Retcon" iPPV. The Decider is the one wrestler who COULD potentially decide whether his or her team tastes the joys of victory or the agony of defeat.
The Most Hated Team Since The Miami Heat vs The Onslaught
The Decider: Matt Hardy
There are many great choices for "The Decider" on this match. It could be Horestes Girotti, the big man competing in his first ever main event match. It could be Ninja MAGIC coming off his title defeat. It could be the on again, off again Patrick Slaughter. With all credit to those guys, the clear decider for us is none other than Matt Hardy. After all it's Matt Hardy who will be making his PRW debut; a bright lights debut in front of some of the most ravenous fans in the world. Matt Hardy, released from both WWE and TNA, is still struggling to find vindication in the eyes of wrestling fans. If the Matt Hardy of the late 90s/early 2000s shows up, he could single handily turn the tide in this match. If the Matt Hardy whose made TMZ more than PWI's Top 500 shows up, it's going to be a short night for him but a long night for the Most Hated Team Since The Miami Heat.
NWA: Niggaz Wit Avery] vs Dey Shootin!
The Decider: Sean Aries
It'd be a foolish mistake to go with anyone but the captain of Dey Shootin. The Undisputed Champion will be fighting his emotions and his opponents on Saturday. Frustration over Ninja MAGIC, the return of Ace Andrews and the seemingly never ending threat of 6Pac Shakur and his minions have put Aries in a weird place mentally. Will Sean be able to focus himself long enough to lead his team to victory? Or will his emotions boil over and cost his squad everything? This makes Sean Aries the decider.
Team Real Men All Men vs B Cup Rack City
The Decider: Alex Mesa
The Decider for this match is the ultimate unknown, mercurial newcomer Alex Mesa. Known for her armbars, Mesa is a prodigy of sorts who is being put in her highest profile match yet. The question of course is can Mesa adjust if someone is able to avoid or elude her most prized weapon? How will she respond to the biggest stage of her career? These are all questions that have to be answered and positively for B Cup Rack City to leave Syracuse with a win.
Multi Culture Squad vs Xclusiv Canaries
The Decider: Verdugo
Not much is known about the silent masked man. What IS known is that he and Mark Graves appear to have a bone to pick with one another. Graves, to his credit, has stated teamwork won't be an issue. At the risk of sounding redundant, the issue of teamwork continues to come up when discussing the chances of The Xclusiv Canaries. If Verdugo and Graves are able to play ball, there's a good chance the Xclusiv Canaries will run through the Multi Culture Squad. If Graves and Verdugo are at odds? There's a chance for an upset. That makes Verdugo the decider.
We're Goin Over vs Small Bomb, Big Blast
The Decider: Basemah Peeples
The temptation to name Sherri Taylor as the decider is strong. Very very strong in fact. That said we opted for Basemah because she brings something that the other people in the match don't have; an overly imposing frame. She's a big body who can throw the other girls around easily. Question is will Basemah show up for the paycheck or for the battle? Her mood that night will help decide whether Small Bomb, Big Blast can pull off the upset.
Awesome Buttsex vs Boob Bangers
The Decider: Nicholas Atknight
With so many PRW stars making their debuts, it's would be easy to list one of them as the Decider for this match. At the end of the day, it's about Nicholas Atknight and his ability (or lack there of) to keep the momentum going. Coming off his first win and a Cyanide title upset, Nicholas is now tasked with leading a team into the depths of hell that is a 4 on 4 elimination match. If he's successful, it could be the start of a beautiful run for Atknight.
Masters Of Rap vs I Heard You Were A Wild One
The Decider: Jaycee Vega
I'd say this one needs no explanation.

Working Toward The Weekend
NoNeck 5Count Predicts The Matches
As we arrive at the final day left prior to "We Did It First 2: The Retcon", we decided to do something different. Rather than break down the teams, try to find weaknesses that may or may not exist, try to analyze any possible angles that require an insane amount of forward thinking or anything strenuous, we at PRWrestling decided to take advantage of the large roster we have at our disposal. One name, in fact, stood out larger than all the rest. We made a call to Mr. NoNeck 5Count himself; the man who once main evented a Survivor Series, the very first one in fact! We asked NoNeck 5Count to make his predictions and he was kind enough to give us his time to give his picks!
The Most Hated Team Since The Miami Heat vs The Onslaught
NoNeck Sez:
"First off, you tell that punk Bukowski that I haven't forgotten about him! He and I still have unfinished business and believe me, we're gonna have it out soon! Now about this match, I like Pat and Kazama. Talented young guys. Unfortunately I have to side with the experience edge that Logan, MAGIC and his guys possess. It's going to be a close match and it might come down to 1 on 1 but in the end, the show ends on a sour note as the Most Hated Team takes the win."
The Most Hated Since The Miami Heat
NWA: Niggas Wit Avery vs Dey Shootin
NoNeck Sez:
"You really think I'm going to bet against my friend Sean? My boy Sean Aries? Please. NoNeck sez this one is a blow out 4-0. Sean Aries finally puts 6Pac to bed on this one!"
Dey Shootin
Team All Men Real Men vs B Cup Rack City
No Neck Sez:
"Man this is a tough one. Sylvia wrath is the most talented woman I've seen in a long time but I have to admit, I know little about her teammates. This Ata girl is new right? This Mesa girl is new right? Emily is a sweetheart of a girl but I don't think she has much in the killer instinct department. On the other hand, the Jap team and the homos aren't my favorite guys either. Hentai has the tentacles though. I'll go with the size and the gender here and pick Lord Hentai's team. I would be thrilled if Sylvia pulls off the upset but we'll see."
Team Real Men All Men
MultiCulture Squad vs Xclusiv Canaries
NoNeck Sez:
"Man this is another tough one to predict. Xclusiv Canaries have the talent on their side but Serial is a former champ. Xclusiv is also a former champ. Mr. Turner is a joke to most people but the kid guy has talent to me. This could be his breakout party. I don't think Serial is much of a leader of men being Mexican and all but dude has some skill. He can fly and do things other guys can't. I think I'm going to go with the Xclusiv Canaries in a close one. Serial will get his team to perform but this one is Xclusiv Canaries. The one question mark is that masked guy Verdugo and Graves. If those two come to blows, ho buddy watch out!"
Xclusiv Canaries
We're Goin Over vs Small Bomb, Big Blast
NoNeck Sez:
"Levesque's go over, brutha."
We're Goin Over
Awesome Buttsex vs Boob Bangers
NoNeck Sez:
"Johnny Awesome still has a job? Nicholas Atknight too? I kid on Atknight! I kid! That guy works hard. He's going to have to work even harder to get his team firing on all cylinders especially because Awesome's teams got some good young guys on it. To me this one is a coin flip but because of the momentum and because I'm a sentimental guy who loves a good story, I'm takin the Boob Bangers in a close one."
Boob Bangers
The Masters Of Rap vs I Heard You Were A Wild One
NoNeck Sez:
What the hell is a Wild One? And Who is Jaycee Vega? Why is he booked in two matches? What's Snuka doing here?! Funk? The hell is Funk doing here? WHO is Bubbalicious?! Man I'm confused! Rap masters! Go with those guys!
