Joey NOX was approached by PRW cameras while on his way to fill in his second round of the NBCSports Playoff Prediction Challenge Game. When NOX was approached by the cameras, he was presented with a variety of questions relating to PRW news. Here are some brief quotes from the X-Division Champion:
Your thoughts on how the first round of the NBCSports Prediction Game
"It's been fun thus far. I'm getting a lot of positive buzz on it from teams that win. Teams that lose? Well they're not so friendly but I welcome the attention all the same. Ya know how it is, you're a jinx if they lose and Nostradamus if they win."
Will there be an NBA edition of the NBCSports Playoff Prediction Contest?
"We've had discussions about it. I think we should try to get more people involved in them if we do an NBA version."
Thoughts on Thomas Driver as PRW Undisputed Champion
"I'm happy for Thomas but the key isn't winning the belt but retaining it. We've seen guys like Ace, Alex, Aries and company have a tawdry run with the belt. Driver can't be a one and done otherwise what has he proven?"
On his match with Bukowski?
"Unbelievable. No hype necessary for that one. Bukowski is legit and that mullet is something serious."
A rematch with Bukowski?
"Would never duck Bukowski or any challenger. I think for his sake he needs more seasoning but if he pulled up in his 1980s Jalopy with the crooked windows and fuzzy dice in the mirror and challenged me to a one on one fight I would take my coat off and scrap in the street. Feel me brother?"
On been challenged by Matthew Logan
"What? No way? He challenged me."
On being told again that Logan challenged him for Superbattle.
"If Matt wants it, It can be done."
On the issues between Matt and himself
"The issues are well documented. Matt handed the reigns over to me and then proceeded to return to try and snatch them back. Matt refused to give the new generation their chance to ride and I despise him for that. The Applebees thing is all cute and all but the heat is behind the way Logan left. He said he was going to step out of the spotlight, instead he just made sure his shadow was hovering over everything."
On whether Logan has changed
"Look, Logan seems to believe he's changed. Some people believe him. Some people think he has changed. I'm not here to judge the human being involved. I'm just here to say how I feel and hope people respect my miniscule opinion. If Logan is saying he's changed then that's Logan talk for "you're all screwed when I remind you who I am." We're talking about the Hannibal Lecter of PRW. The Shin Tzu of wrestling. He's five steps ahead of all of us and all you can do is hope to cut him off at the pass."
So is this confirmation of a Logan match?
"You tell him to tell PRW to fax me over a contract and I'd sign that thing in five seconds."
Your thoughts on Alex LeBlanc and his recent PRW musings?
"I have no comment on anything Alex LeBlanc does these days. He's either the smartest man to ever work this business or he's gone so far off the reservation that not even Roadkill and Tatanka The Bounty Hunter could save him."
