PRW.com: Slaughter responds to Aries; Really?

The staff of PRW.com emailed Patrick Slaughter, one half of the PRW Tag Team Champions, to see if he was willing to give his thoughts on what happened at Apocalypse and give his response to what Sean Aries reasoning behind what happened during the Tag Team Championship match. At first we didn't receive a response, but a few days later, an e-mail was received. And here is its content.

First of all, my apologies for waiting a few days to respond. I had a lot to think about the last few days, and when you had a night like I did at Apocalypse, you tend to want to take some time alone. As a matter of fact, I didn't even know about the segment that Aries cut until I received the e-mail. That just shows you how closed off I was for a bit.

Now, I know you wanted me to talk about everything that happened to me at Apocalypse, but considering what happened to me after the match concerns Onslaught as a whole, Onslaught as a whole will address that on 24/7. So, that only leaves the segment.

I got around to watching the segment, and I actually thought about what he said for a good while. Now, before anyone thinks some feud is going to hatch between him and I, let me just say that Sean is a friend of mine. Granted, he's not as close with me as he is with, say LeBlanc, but that's fine considering how far they go back. Point is, because he's my friend, I have full faith that he was sincere in his intent. So no, I'm not going to go to war against him.

With that said, that was retarded thing I ever heard.

You see, Sean thinks I'm not ready to take on The Triumvirate because I was being sportsmanlike with him and Wrath at Apocalypse. That's stupid. You want to know why?

First off, using what one would do to a friend as a measurement of what one would do to an enemy is flawed. Usually, people don't do anything shady to their friends. Let's take Sylvia Wrath and Bella Quinn for example. Do you honestly think that, with the way their friendship is now, Wrath would bloody Quinn's face with light tubes or try to fork her brains out the way she did T.K., or vice versa? The answer is no. Not even maybe.

And second of all, it seems that Sean has a little bit of a short memory. He seems to forget that Matthew Logan avoided me for a very long time. He seems to forget that I gave Jake Evanston the beating of a lifetime during the finals of the Trios Tournament. He seems to forget that in that same tournament, I put Casey Jones in his place had him pinned up against the barricade, leaving him to stare at Jake Evanston helplessly as he was being pinned for the 1-2-3.

He seems to forget that, when we weren't so cool, I crushed his windpipe with a steel chair just to take the Cyanide Championship off of him. He also seems to forget that I hung up Canary Kid on the turnbuckle like meet in a butcher's freezer just so I could get at his knee some more.

I can hardly fault Sean for forgetting. It seems as if people get hung up on me being a nice guy and forget how quickly I can disregard the rules and well being of my opponent when I want to.

Sean, don't get me twisted. The only reason why I'm sportsmanlike with you because I legitemately consider you a friend. The Triumvirate? Not so much. I don't like them. As a matter of fact, if they were on fire, I'd literally pee in a way to make sure that the stream lands five inches away from them. They are not going to get the same sportsmanlike attitude I gave you and Wrath. So don't worry about me.
