Bob Saget: The following match is a Masters of the Mat Quarterfinal Qualifier and is a Stretcher match.
The crescendo of sound blasts through the fan-fill arena as the tune of Crush by Anthrax is blared through the PA sound system. Fans getting up to their feet anxiously waiting for the superstar to come out from the back. The next set of guitars harmonically play on the sound system and Berren Blaze runs out from the back. Fans are at an uproar of cheers for the Scorchin Hero.
Brunswick: Berren Blaze, the PRW Resident scorcher has advanced to the quarterfinals of the Masters of the Mat tournament. He's been on a roll lately with his participation and everyone in the locker room is starting to notice. His previous qualifying match with Alex LeBlanc was absolutely brutal considering what was used.
Smith: It's true he's becoming a fast rising star. But were going to see Berren Blaze wrestle in not one but two matches...one after another.
Brunswick: That's right Doug. This is going to be a true test for Blaze seeing how he has to deal with a possible 4 different types of matches. After this match he's got a 3 Stages of Hell match with PRW Television Champion Corey Russell.
Smith: He's going to be in a world of hurt after tonight.
Berren Blaze looking around the roaring arena, smiles, and stops at the top of the ramp. He pounds the ground and waves his hands from the front of him to stop at his sides. A wave of pyros rise up form the ground starting in front of him and waves around the Scorchin Superstar. When the pyros finish, he makes his way towards the ring. He slaps the hands of surrounding fans to both sides of him and runs around the ring continuing to slap hands. He finally jumps on to the apron looking around the arena at the crowd. Berren then showing his agility jumps and twists onto the top rope and backflips into the ring. Fans continue to cheer and chant Berren's name as Blaze walks around the ring hopping around and stretching his limbs.
Brunswick: Berren has never faced anyone like Jason Garrick, a veteran of PRW and a former Undisputed Champion. He received a taste of what Garrick can dish out in Superbattle, let's see how well he does one on one.

["Wasting Time" by Red begins to play throughout the arena along with the following TitanTron...]
[dohtml]<object width="320" height="265"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/u83miGEUoqM&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/u83miGEUoqM&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="320" height="265"></embed></object>[/dohtml]
[Jason Garrick emerges from the back and onto the stage. He stands still just before the walkway, his silhouette barely visible under dark lighting of his entrance, with occasional flashes during the rifts in his song. He continues to remain there for a few moments, glaring down at his opponent with unseen eyes. Finally, the lights return to a semi-normal state, and Garrick slowly begins his descent to the ring.]
Saget: "And making his way to the ring; from Minneapolis, Minnesota, weighing in at 247 pounds, he is the PRW International Champion... Jason Garrick!"
[Garrick's attire tonight consists of his usual gear and grapple shorts, which are a blue-black design, with metallic Matrix-like coding running down from the waist, in conjunction with Uprising's theme. In addition, Garrick is also wearing a long, sleeveless vest complete with a hood that conceals most of his face. His name is displayed on the back, along with more of the Matrix-ish coding. The International Championship is visible around Garrick's waist as well as he continues to the ring.]
Brunswick: "Like Berren, Garrick will be pulling double-duty tonight as well, when he defends the International Championship against Alex LeBlanc later on in a Ladder Match. One can't help but wonder what shape Garrick will be in after this match, which could end up being the more brutal of the two."
Smith: "Garrick can handle it. You heard what he said moments ago Brunswick. Not only is he going to crush Berren, he's going to make an example out of him and send a message to LeBlanc in the process."
Brunswick: "Well, if I was Garrick, and I'm glad I'm not, I wouldn't underestimate Berren Blaze. This young man has been on fire lately, no pun intended; making quite a name for himself here in PRW. By the way Doug, he lasted longer than Garrick in the Superbattle last month."
Smith: "Bah, so what? Garrick was targeted in that match from the get-go, and that's the ONLY reason he was eliminated so quickly. Unfortunately for Blaze, there's no one here to help him out this time. He's going to have to beat Garrick all on his own... in a Stretcher Match of all things! (Laughs) Good luck kid, you're going to need it."
[Garrick arrives to the outside the ring, a pair of steel-framed medical stretchers are setup nearby. Garrick takes a moment to examine one of the potentially dangerous devices. He looks up at Blaze inside the ring with unseen eyes hidden beneath his hood. Finally, Garrick ascends the steel steps and ducks inside from under the top rope. Slowly, Garrick removes his hood from his head, revealing the cold, emotionless glare that would send a chill down the spine of most competitors. To Berren's credit however, he shows no signs of intimidation (outwardly anyway) and continues to stand his ground in front of the long-time veteran. Garrick removes the rest of his vest and tosses it to the outside. Lastly, he unfastens the International Championship from around his waist and hands it off to the referee. Berren is unable to help himself, risking a quick glance at the belt, a title which may be in his own future someday. After handing the gold off to the crew on the outside, the referee returns to the center of the ring, making sure both competitors are ready. Berren nods his approval, whereas Garrick doesn't say anything, continuing to keep his eyes locked on his opponent. The referee signals for the bell and the match is underway.]

The bell sounds loudly across the arena and the match is underway.
Jason Garrick has his eyes locked on one Berren Blaze as Blaze gets closer to the veteran ever so slowly. Garrick stands with his nose up in the air looking down at his prey and Blaze starts to shoot a collar and elbow lockup. The lockup is halted by Garrick who kicks Blaze in the gut and as Blaze is doubled over, Garrick pounds on Blaze's back with a forearm. Blaze arches his back in pain and drops to his knees while Garrick stands over him. Garrick grabs Blaze by the back of the neck tightly and as he lifts his opponent, Blaze drives a fist into Garrick's stomach. Garrick is unfazed and Blaze strikes him again with a fist to the stomach. Garrick slightly doubled over, lifts Blaze up and strikes him with multiple forearms to his face. Garrick releases his opponent and Blaze staggers until he drops to his knees again and his hands drop to the mat. Garrick looks up at the crowd and hears the shrill sound of boos ringing in his ears. He does nothing but glare at everybody just soaking in the hate that everybody shows for him. Garrick then looks down at the Scorchin Superstar and starts lightly scraping the bottom of his boots on the back of Blaze's head.
Brunswick: Jason Garrick showing absolutely no respect to Berren Blaze.
Smith: And why should he? Has Berren Blaze been International Champion? NO! Has Berren Blaze been a Tag Team Champion? NO! Has Berren Blaze been Undisputed Champion? NO! Christ Josh, he held the Television title for all of what 14 days?
Brunswick: You do realize that he wrestled Tim Kage not at 100% and previously had a hard fought battle against Alex LeBlanc.
Smith: Regardless...he lost it in less than a month. What makes anyone think that he can defeat Mr. Garrick?
Garrick grabs the Scorcher by the hair to slowly lift him to his feet. The ref tells Garrick to release Blaze's hair and once he does Garrick turns his attention away from the staggering Blaze and onto the ref. Ref warns him to not get in his face and to continue the match. The moment Garrick turns back to Berren Blaze, he is greeted by right fist to the face. Blaze in desperation keeps swinging face paced right hands into Garrick's face, connecting each hit until Garrick staggers back to the ropes, quickly to return for a clothesline. Blaze with quick speed ducks under the clothesline, both men turn around for Blaze to kick Garrick in the gut, then turns to catch his head with his arm to deliver a stunner. But the stunner doesn't happen, for Garrick holds onto Blaze and pushes him back into the ropes. Blaze ricochets back to Garrick who delivers a kick to the gut of his opponent. Garrick quickly jumps and turns to grab Berren's head to go for the cutter. But the Scorchin Hero catches Garrick under the arms and cutter is countered. Garrick not really sure how Blaze managed to stop himself from becoming the victim of one of his most famed moves, is then thrown backwards with a full-nelson suplex by Blaze. Garrick tumbles backwards to his knees, dazed after being dropped on the back of his head and flops onto his stomach to the mat.
The crowd stands up and applauds the two wrestlers for the exchange of counters.
Brunswick: Berren Blaze wins the exchange of counters with a surprise suplex that looked rather painful.
Smith: I'm sorry but I fail to accept that Blaze won that exchange.
Brunswick: Well I'm sorry to hear that. Why don't you step away from the booth so you can cry to mommy.
Smith: ....Oooohhhh so NOW Joshy has some bass in his voice.
Berren Blaze gets up to see Garrick face down on the mat. He moves up to him grabs Garrick by the head and neck to lift him up to his feet and places him on the corner turnbuckles. Garrick's limp body slumps on the corner and the Scorcher lifts his slightly, then delivers a chop to his chest. The slap can be heard all around the arena and Garrick cringes, holding his chest in pain. Blaze then grabs Garrick's hand and Irish whips him to the opposite corner, but Garrick holds on and reverses the whip so Berren Blaze hits the corner pads. Garrick runs at Blaze to attack, Blaze lifts his foot up connecting with Garrick's face causing him to be knocked back away from Blaze. Blaze walks to Garrick, and delivers a jumping spinning roundhouse kick. Berren Blaze's legs continue to fly, not connecting with any part of Garrick's body, for the crafty Garrick ducked under the flying kick and runs at Blaze with a clothesline, Blaze ducks under that while running for the corner. Blaze runs up the corner onto the top turnbuckle, and jumps back to moonsault onto Garrick. Garrick runs under the moonsault to prevent the Seattle high flyer landing on him. Blaze miraculously lands on his feet and the crowd is getting riled up again because of the second set of counter exchanges are happening again. Berren Blaze runs at Garrick again and winds up becoming a victim of a hip toss in to the corner turnbuckle pads. Blaze's back hits the pads, bounces off and lands hard on his stomach. The crowd goes insane for the second round of counters that they've seen.
CROWD: THIS IS AWESOME! *claps* THIS IS AWESOME! *claps* THIS IS AWESOME! *claps* THIS IS AWESOME! *claps*
Smith: Your winner of the second set of exchanging counters is Jason Garrick! YEAH! GO GARRICK, GO GARRICK, GO, GO, GO GARRICK!
Brunswick: Woo.............................................Hoo.
Smith: You're kidding me Josh. This could be the lead that Jason needs to stop Blaze.
Brunswick: You think he could win this huh? Well it'll definitely be a tough battle for both men.
Jason Garrick, a little bit winded after all the exchanges that have happened, continues to glare at the downed Seattle native. He then turns Blaze over to his back, Garrick kneels over Blaze, grabs his head and starts hammering him with hard rights. The ref tells Garrick to get off of Blaze but the former champion ignored the demands of the referee and continues to punch away at Berren's head faster and faster. The ref grabs Garrick and pulls him off of Berren Blaze who's laying on the mat nearly lifeless. Garrick struggle with the ref and the ref warns him to start listening to him when he says he's done. Garrick can do nothing but glare at the ref and let his words go in one ear and out the other.
Brunswick: This could mean some trouble for PRW's Scorchin Hero. Garrick now has control of this match.
Smith: *whispers* GO GARRICK, GO GARRICK, GO, GO, GO GARRICK!
Brunswick: What did you say Doug?
Smith: *without hesitation* Not a damn thing!

Berren Blaze rolls out of the ring to steer clear of the man that has taken control of this match. Garrick watches Blaze as he stumbles to the outside and follows Blaze with his eyes. Blaze crawls slowly to the announcer's table where Brunswick can be seen giving praise and rooting for Blaze while Smith just sits back and does nothing. The Scorchin One lifts himself up on table and looks back in the ring where he sees Garrick jumping out of the ring, continuing to stalk his prey. Garrick slowly, calmly, walks over to Blaze and grabs him by the hair and walks him over to the corner post. Garrick winds up and somehow can't complete driving Blaze's head into the post due to Blaze's foot preventing the attack. Garrick tries to smash Blaze's head into the post a second time, but once again is unsuccessful. Blaze turns to drive a knee into Garrick's gut and grabs him by the trunks and head to throw him into the corner post. Garrick's shoulder is driving into the post and he stays leaning on the it in pain. Blaze delivers a roundhouse kick to Garrick's upper back which puts more pressure on the softened shoulder. Blaze walks around to the opposite end of the cornerpost, grabs onto Garrick's hands, pushes him back and pulls him into the post. Garrick screams in pain for his shoulder is continuously hitting the steel post.
Brunswick: Berren Blaze is being smart and making sure that Garrick cant use his arm.
Smith: God what a cheap wrestler Blaze is.
Brunswick: ........
Blaze grabs Garrick by the head and guides him towards the announcer's table. Blaze then turns to lift Garrick up over his shoulders, throws him forward and steps out of the way so that Garrick goes head first into the announcer's tabletop. As Garrick's upper body whips up from the impact of the table hit, Blaze jumps up onto the ring apron and waits for his opponent to face him. A staggering Garrick trying to regain his balance turns towards Blaze and Blaze seizes the opportunity by jumping off the apron, catching Garrick's head with his arm, and whips around to perform a Tornado DDT. Garrick's head bounces off the ground and tumbles over flopping on his back. The audience is going crazy now that their Scorchin Hero has taken over the reins of the carriage.
Berren Blaze stands up to look for the nearest Stretcher. Once he spots it, he takes one look at his opponent who's still lying on the ground holding his head. Blaze runs over to Stretcher and carts it over to Garrick's lying body. The Scorcher lifts the former International Champion up by his head and lifts him up to plant him on the stretcher. Blaze realizes that it's going to be the longest trip to the finish line because they're at the opposite side of the ramp. Blaze starts to push the stretcher slowly and gradually increases the speed. Blaze loses a little control of the stretcher and runs into a cornerpost. Unfortunately for Garrick, the impact of the stretch hitting the post made Garrick slide forward and well...his legs weren't really together on the stretcher and goes balls first in the post.
Crowd: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
You can see the crowd cringing, and imagining the pain that Garrick is suffering. Garrick with his eyes wide open and his jaw dropped, holds on to his genitals in pain. Blaze grabs his head and slams it backwards down on the stretcher. The Scorchin Superstar pulls Garrick back on the stretcher and starts to cart him around the ring. Blaze getting closer and closer to the ramp, the fans cheer for their hero and pats him on the back as he walks around the ring. Blaze turns the corner and starts to head up the ramp. Due to the incline and an extra 247 pounds on the stretcher, Blaze slows down his trek up the ramp. All of a sudden, Garrick wakes up to see where he's at and goes into a frenzy trying to get off the stretcher. Garrick starts to punch upward into Blaze stomach, then throws a punch to his head after he doubled over. Blaze releases his grip from the stretcher and the stretcher starts to roll down the ramp with Garrick still on it. Garrick looks up to see where the stretcher is going to hit and he rolls off the stretcher. The stretcher topples over with Garrick and the momentum makes it slide down the ramp on its side.
Smith: Oh Man! That could've been bad news for Garrick. He would've hit the ring hard had he not rolled off the stretcher.
Brunswick: That's true Doug. Who knows what would've happened and the condition Garrick would've been in if he would've collided with the ring.
Relieved, Garrick slowly gets up to his feet and hears Blaze coming down for him. Blaze grabs Garrick by the head, but is greeting with an elbow to the gut. Garrick turns to setup for a suplex, lifts Blaze up vertically and holds him there. The Crowd Oohs and Aahs the strength of Garrick as he holds their hero up in the air. Blaze finds a way to drop behind Garrick on his feet, pounds an elbow into the back of Garrick and grabs him for a suplex of his own. Blaze lifts Garrick up backwards, flips him over and drops down with him holding his head when the hit the ground. The Crowd goes crazy for Blaze hitting his finisher, the Volcanic Eruption on the ramp. Garrick now lays motionless on the cold ramp and Blaze slowly gets up to his vertical base. He then gets to his feet and walks to the stretcher in hopes that he can win this match. Blaze lifts the stretcher to the upright position and carts it over to his seemingly lifeless opponent. He bends down to grab Garrick by the head and lifts him up on the stretcher for a second time. Blaze then slowly starts to cart the stretcher up the ramp to the finish line.
Brunswick: This could be it. Berren Blaze could defeat Jason Garrick if he crosses that finish line.
Smith: Aww man, I had money on this match.
Brunswick: You did NOT!! How could make a wager on a match like this?
Smith: Are you kidding me Josh? It was a Gentlemen's wager.
Win Attempt via Stretcher crossing Finish Line.

Berren manages to push Garrick over the line just moments before Jason pushes himself off the stretcher.
