A slow and quiet organ note wafts out of the PA system as the crowd sit in anticipation of who could enter. Instead of focusing on the crowd the camera cuts to a full screen view of the titantron, showing night scans of the majestic South Carolina’s bustling city.

For one whole minute the titantron builds the scenes of the city, the organ piece grows louder and more layered. A huge white light shines down from the top of the arena, and spotlights the centre of the entrance ramp. The electricity rises in the air, as seemingly the entire arena rises to their feet. A slow, single intake of air plays over with the music before,

“Is Cooking”

“The Rock’s 18th” by Jim Johnston plays over the PA as the camera switches back to its view of the entranceway. Flashes of The Rok play out on the titantron as the crowd cheer for the incoming superstar. As the theme continues The Rok, wearing his usual black wrestling gear and leather vest, throws the curtain aside and walks out to the top of the stage. In his right hand, being held by the end of the buckle, The Rok is dragging his Television Championship alongside with him. Stopping at the top of the stage, The Rok looks to his left into the crowd before slowly moving his head up and around to his right in an arch, soaking in the crowd’s reaction. Satisfied, The Rok promptly walks down the ramp.

Saget: On his way to the ring; From Greenville, South Carolina. Weighing in at one hundred and ninety pounds...He is the P...R...W Television Chaaammmpioooon..Thhhheeee Rok!

The Rok moves towards and up the stairs at his announcement. Stepping through the ropes The Rok doesn’t hesitate and quickly moves to the turnbuckle where he outstretches his right arm, the title swinging up and over the back of his hand, The Rok letting it lie along his arm. Flashbulbs erupt as The Rok once again takes in the spotlight before stepping down and removing his vest, his theme dying down.

The quick paced violin of “Pirates” by Hans Zimmer catches the arena attention just a minute following the arrival of Delvin Rok. The PRW Television Champion and the fans in attendance turn their attention to the entrance ramp, expecting the arrival of the challenger to be a simple one. But for nearly half a minute, not a man alive steps upon the stage, bringing a string of curiosity amongst the fans until a faint scream is heard. Growing louder by the second, the fans pan the arena, searching for the source but finding nothing, until Jack Sparrow falls from the rafters.

Brunswick: Oh good lord!

Swinging from a rope much as he had during his sudden “open challenge”, Sparrow swings from the ceiling as he makes his way to the ring. Although this time, Jack Sparrow is hanging upside down. The rope wrapped firmly around the ankle of The Pirate Captain, Sparrow is thrown through the air completely out of control. He swings deep over the crowd, unexpectedly slapping hands with those brave enough not to duck out of his way before finally his unorthodox path reaches the ring. His right hand latches out and grabs the top rope, the majority of the rope breaking free and swinging back up to the rafters, disappearing from sight. Sparrow, meanwhile, lands on his side in the ring, rolling towards the middle before popping up to his feet and dizzily falling against the ropes.

Saget: And in the ring, the challenger. From The Caribbean Sea, weighing two hundred and ten pounds, Captain Jack Sparrow!

Already dressed for the contest, Sparrow regains his balance before pulling forth his scabbard and hanging it from his corner before removing his guns and placing them on the mat. Turning around, Sparrow comes face to face with The Television Champion, Delvin Rok. While Rok stares bullets at his opponent from less than three inches away, Sparrow’s lip twitches twice and he steps back, reaching into his pocket. Delvin eyes him nervously until Jack pulls a piece of candy from his pocket.

Sparrow: Mint?

OOC: Really, long, time.

The bell rings as the two combatants continue to stand mere inches apart. Jack continues to hold out the small piece of candy, hoping that either The Rok will accept it or take a step back, his onion breath slowly making him nauseous. Instead, the champion smacks the mint away with his right hand before coming around with that same hand, laying in a punch right to Sparrow’s jaw. The attack sends Jack to the mat hard and he rolls into the middle of the ring before rising, The Rok there to meet him. Another heavy right hand rocks the jaw of Jack Sparrow, The Pirate Captain not going down from this shot but is forced back by its intensity. Sparrow meagerly tries to cover himself up as the champion drives another shot towards his jaw, the challenger forced back yet another step towards a corner of the squared circle.

Brunswick: It doesn’t look like The Rok intends to hold anything back in this match Doug.

Smith: Can you blame him? Sparrow came out in a rather strange open challenge and in his first match managed to defeat PRW’s International Champion.

Brunswick: Rok has that cocky confident aura about him Doug. Somehow, I don’t think that Jack’s win truly impressed him.

And yet Rok doesn’t let up with his right hands, driving Sparrow back with another right hand, Jack nearly pressed into the corner. The seventh shot puts the challenger’s back into the corner, The Rok backing up for a wind up with the finishing blow.

Sparrow: Parley!

The Rok hesitates slightly as The Pirate Captain screams the word aloud, this hesitation not going unnoticed by the crafty Jack Sparrow.

Sparrow: Parley, Parley, Parley, PARLEY!!!

Confused by Sparrow’s repeated shouting of the word, The Rok halts his haymaker short, looking on confused at the cowering form of the challenger. Jack peeks up to see The Rok standing over him, his arms held out wide before Sparrow does the only thing he can think of. Thumbs the PRW Television Champion right in the eye!

Brunswick: Cheap yet effective. Interesting.

Smith: Hypocrite.

The Rok steps away clutching his eye as Jack chuckles to himself, formulating a plan. The Pirate Captain pulls himself up to the second rope and as the champion turns, Sparrow leaps at him for a crossbody. The maneuver connects perfectly, driving both men to the mat, with Jack Sparrow going for a quick cover, hoping to end this before it turned bad for him.
