Forced into Submission

The lights in the Sapporo Dome cut to black as the PRWtron lights up. Phoenix's voice fills the arena as the 'tron pans through jail cells.

Phoenix- I remember those days. My life was thrust into a downward spiral, bringing me to rock bottom.

The cells, filled with inmates, reveal a harsh coldness that is only paled in comparison to the eyes of the women in the cells. The camera fades over to Phoenix's face in black and white.

Phoenix- The gray paint in those cells peeled away from the walls like our hope, ambition, and will to live. More then half of those women were either raped, killed, or both. When you were thrown into those jail cells you were there for the rest of your life.

The camera fades back to the cells, filled with about 10 women crammed into a space so small its meant to fit 2 people in them. As the camera zooms in on one girls faces, Phoenix continues to speak.

Phoenix- Most of those women were wrongly imprisoned, accused of crimes they couldn't have possibly done: robbery, theft, violent crimes including murder. It's horrible to think that people could be as cruel as they were there.

The camera fades back to Phoenix, standing on the edge of a cliff, looking down at the waves crashing up against the rocks below with what seemed like the force of a car crashing into brick wall.

Phoenix- After the accident, I found myself wandering around the world, trying to find a place for myself. You see, at first my wrestling career failed, due to going to promotions that didn't use their women wrestlers well. I found myself Thailand, wrestling for a money in underground fighting leagues where I went undefeated until they cracked down on the club that I was in, and I found myself locked in a jail cell, consequently not government owned, and mistreated. Treated like an animal, I was forced to work or otherwise I'd have been slaughtered. I spent 3 years in that jail, and only once was I attacked by another inmate.

The camera cuts to Phoenix being dragged away to solitary confinement, covered in blood and unconcious. The gaurds throw her into the small room, where after a moment she regains her conciousness before fading over to a shot of Phoenix standing in the middle of the cell.

Phoenix- That was the first time I had killed another person. I don't remember doing it, but I was told it was one of the most vicious, brutal deaths that any of the inmates had seen. Her ribcage shattered like a pane of glass, her face beaten in until no one could recognize her. No one knew her name... She died without a name. These days I wish I could take back... But I was lucky, the day they set for my execution had arrived, and I dreaded knowing that my own death was imminent. They held my head down so my neck was on the chopping block, preparing to behead me, when the prison was raided by a team of Marines. The saved my life and many others that day. My only fear is that the X-Division will bring out that same violent tenacity in which I had in the past. I don't want to kill again...

The PRWtron fades to black as the lights in the arena fade back on...
