No Mercy, No Remorse
The scene opens with the camera facing PRW announcer Josh Brunswick. He's seated at an angle in typical interview fashion with an iPad in his grasp, no doubt containing bullet points and questions from the PRW fanbase for his two important guests. He begins to speak.

Brunswick: "Welcome everyone and thank you for joining us for this very exclusive interview here on PRW.com. Just a reminder that we are broadcasting live so that you the fans can ask your questions for our guests here today. So without further ado, let me introduce PRW Hall of Famer, Jason Garrick and his lovely wife, Chelsey Lynn Garrick."

The camera jumps over to Jason and Chelsey, sitting next to each other across from Brunswick. Chelsey is dressed to kill as always, wearing a short, form-fitting black dress. Meanwhile, Jason is dressed a bit more casually, wearing a sports coat, button-up shirt, and a pair of jeans. Chelsey shoots a smile towards Brunswick.

Chelsey: "Hello Josh."

Jason remains silent.

Brunswick: "First off, let me just say congratulations to the both of you on your recent marriage."

Chelsey: "Thank you. We couldn't be happier."

Chelsey squeezes her husband's hand in affection and shoots him a smile. Although Jason is usually not one to express emotion himself, a small smile forms on his face as he meets Chelsey's eyes.

Brunswick: "I have to admit, I'm somewhat surprised to see the two of you sitting here now as husband and wife. A lot of people assumed, myself included, that you both had gone your separate ways some time ago."

Chelsey: "Not that its anyone's business, but yes, we did separate for awhile after I left PRW back in 2010."

Brunswick: "I see. Well obviously you were able to rekindle your relationship at some point. So tell us, how did your marriage come about?"

Chelsey: "Well after I left PRW, I was in a much better position financially, so I decided to go back to school and finish up my Master's degree. Which I did thankfully. Jason remained here for awhile longer as you know. But eventually the two of us found our way back together again, and it wasn't long before we realized that our affection for each other turned out to be something more. And as they say, the rest is history."

Brunswick: "Forgive me, but that's kind of vague."

???: "That's all you get."

That came from Jason, finally deciding to speak up.

Jason: "Our personal lives are our own. Next question."

Brunswick: "Of course. Moving on... Jason, the last time we saw you in PRW you had just lost a match to Adam---"

Jason's eyes narrow.

Brunswick: "Uh well, the details aren't important... In any case, its been roughly five years since you last competed in PRW. Its no secret you were quite successful during your time here. So if you don't mind indulging us, I'm curious as to what led to your decision to leave."

Jason: "Of course I was successful. I'm Jason Garrick. But even athletes of my caliber have their limits. Up until that point, I'd been wrestling for nearly a decade. Injuries were beginning to catch up to me, as well as my own mentality. Simply put, I was getting burnt out. I needed a break and that's why I left."

Brunswick: "Understandable. However, based upon the last interview you gave before your departure, you gave many the impression that your were contemplating retirement. Seeing as you've been gone for so long, have you actually retired?"

Jason remains silent for a moment, then continues.

Jason: "No, I haven't officially retired yet, but then again I'm not currently wrestling right now either. One of the main reasons I stuck around for as long as I did was because of the money I was making. Naturally, being one of the top stars in PRW for as long as I was comes with a great salary. But I knew, just like everyone else who gets into this business does, that eventually there comes a time when we can't do this anymore. After I left, I knew I had to start going into business for myself, and that's what I did."

Brunswick: "So what did you do?"

Jason: "Let's just I made some wise financial investments during my time away. Those investments have turned out to be quite profitable for me these past few years, and now I'm a very wealthy man because of it."

Jason notices the curiosity on Brunswick's face. He leans forward a bit and stares down the smaller man.

Jason: "I have more money now then you will ever have or could ever dream of having Brunswick. Understand?"

Brunswick sighs in response. Jason relaxes back into his chair.

Jason: "Quite frankly, I don't need to do this for a living anymore. I could walk away today and my future would be more than secured. However, I chose to stay involved in this business because I still have a passion for it that is unrivaled by anyone else. That's what makes me the Most Successful Man in PRW."

Brunswick: "Well with that said, why don't we take some questions from our viewers?"

Brunswick glances down at his iPad and fiddles with it for a moment.

Brunswick: "Jason you mentioned before that injuries were beginning to catch up to you prior to your departure, so one fan asks... What are the worst injuries you've ever had?"

Jason considers for a moment.

Jason: "Guess I'm lucky, because I've never had a serious injury. Sure I've taken my fair share of punishment in the ring, but nothing that was ever significant enough to put me on the shelf."

Jason's brow darkens.

Jason: "Although there was that one time Lion Merteuil emptied an can of pepper spray into my eyes. That left me blinded for months. Thankfully, I was able to regain my sight. However, I haven't forgotten what he did to me and if I ever run into that bastard again, I'm going to make him pay in the worst way I can imagine."

Brunswick: "Speaking of PRW legends, another viewer asks... 'What's your opinion on the recent re-emergence of legends like Nox, LeBlanc, Hart, and others?'"

Jason: "I've faced LeBlanc and Nox in the past. I'm not surprised they elevated themselves into top stars, seeing as I wasn't here to stand in their way that is. As far as Emily Hart goes, well... my wife is familiar with her."

Chelsey rolls her eyes.

Chelsey: "Unfortunately."

Jason: "As for the rest of these so-called 'legends', I couldn't care less. Now that I'm here, the only legendary figure that anyone should talking about is me."

Brunswick: "Next question. Do you two work out together? If so, what's the routine like?"

Garrick smirks.

Jason: "We always get in a good workout together, in more ways than one."

That response causes Brunswick to look uncomfortable. Chelsey giggles.

Chelsey: "I think the people were referring to what our routines are inside the gym."

Jason: "Oh we've done it inside the gym many---"

Brunswick: "Let's try another question, shall we? Given the nature of infidelity in wrestling, do you worry about the 'on road' lifestyle impacting your marriage?"

Chelsey: "What? Of course not! What kind of question is that? I'm hundred percent committed to my husband just as he is to me. Are you trying to stir the pot here Josh?"

Brunswick: "N-no! I'm just reading the questions as asked by the fans."

Jason: "Then I suggest you choose the questions more carefully you idiot."

Brunswick wipes a bead of sweat from his forehead.

Brunswick: "Ok, here's a good question for both of you. How did the two of you break into the wrestling industry? And why?"

Jason: "Fair enough. My father wrestled for awhile before getting into mixed martial arts. This industry was apart of my life growing up and so it was a natural transition for me."

Chelsey: "Before I got involved in the business, I was working as a model so I could afford to go to college. Not long after I graduated though, there wasn't enough jobs going around, so... I starting dancing at gentlemen's clubs for awhile to make ends meet. And that's when..."

Chelsey stops and looks to Garrick. A brief look of irritation crosses his face, but then he nods back. Chelsey continues.

Chelsey: "That's when I met Hutton Brown. He offered to bring me into PRW. I felt it'd be a good fit for me considering I used to be heavily involved in sports growing up, and quite honestly I needed the money, so I agreed to it. That's how I got my start."

Brunswick: "Obviously the history between you, your husband, and Hutton Brown is well documented. But I have to ask Chelsey, since we've never had the chance before, why exactly did you turn on Hutton Brown at Blackout 2010? You yourself just admitted that he helped you get your start in PRW."

Jason begins to sit up, but Chelsey puts her hand on his chest to stop him.

Chelsey: "Let's get one thing straight Josh. Yes, Hutton opened the door for me to come into PRW. But once I got here, he felt it was important to dress me up like some skanky video game character he fantasized about and then proceeded to parade me like I was some prize he won at the local county fair. Hutton never really cared about me. To him, I was just another notch on his belt. So when an opportunity came make him pay, I seized it. I made sure I cost him what he truly cared about the most, and that was the Undisputed Championship. I can only hope that the pain I caused him that night finally made him understand the pain he caused me."

Brunswick: "So why turn to Jason then? One could argue you do a lot of the same things for him that you didn't enjoy doing for Hutton."

Chelsey: "Because my husband here actually does care about me. He helped me complete my training and because of that, I was able to realize my dream of becoming Women's Champion. Jason's always been there for me whenever I needed him, and so I return the favor whenever I can. That's what being husband and wife is all about. He's a real man, which is a lot more than I can say for Hutton Brown."

Brunswick: "But what about Hutton's---"

Jason's temper suddenly flares.

Jason: "ENOUGH about Hutton Brown! Bring him up one more time Brunswick, and I'll feed you that damn iPad! Do I make myself clear?"

Brunswick swallows nervously.

Brunswick: "Y-yes. Errr... I think we have time for just a few more questions."

Brunswick looks down at his iPad which almost became his lunch. He searches through the list of questions submitted by the fans. His eyes suddenly stop at a group of particular comments. Despite his best efforts, a chuckle escapes his lips. Chelsey's eyes narrow. She shares a look with her husband, before turning back to Brunswick.

Chelsey: "What's so funny?"

Brunswick: "Huh? Oh, n-nothing. Just trying to find a good question to ask."

Chelsey of course doesn't believe him. She stands up and quickly snatches the tablet away from Brunswick before he can react. He tries to reclaim it but suddenly finds Jason standing in his way.

Jason: "Sit down Brunswick."

He shoves the much smaller man back down into his chair as Chelsey reads over the iPad.

Chelsey: "Listen to this crap... 'Did you go on match.com to find each other? Or did you just type repulsive in the search and BOOM you got together?'"

Brunswick begins to look very nervous.

Chelsey: "Is a hot dog a sandwich?'"

Brunswick considers.

Brunswick: "I don't think so."

Jason: "Shut. Up."

Anger suddenly sweeps across her Chelsey's face as she reads another question.

Chelsey: "'How many rounds of penicillin did it take before the STDs cleared!?'"

This causes Brunswick to unwillingly chuckle yet again, and he immediately regrets it as Chelsey gets right up into his face. The same look of rage that's often been seen in Garrick's eyes is now in her's as well.

Chelsey: "'Oh so that's what you thought was so funny, huh!? Tell me, how funny do you think this is?"

She precedes to slap Brunswick across the face so hard a loud static pop echos through the mic on his chest. Brunswick clutches his face in pain. Chelsey turns to Jason.

Chelsey: "'That's it, I'm done with this! Let's just do what we came here to do so we can get the hell out!"

She hands off the iPad to Jason and storms off-screen. Jason hovers over Brunswick, still favoring his cheek which has visibly become red in the shape of Chelsey's hand.

Jason: "You heard the lady, Brunswick. Interview's over."

He grabs a handful of Brunswick's collar and forces him up out of his chair and flings him over to the door leading out of the room.

Jason: "Oh, don't forget your iPad."

Jason grabs the tablet with both of his hands and proceeds to crack it over his knee. The screen shatters as the frame is bent in half in the process. He shoves what remains of the iPad into Brunswick's chest.

Brunswick: "Ugh. I just bought this..."

Jason: "Consider yourself lucky that nothing worse happened to you here today. Now get out."

Jason flings Brunswick out the door and slams it behind him. The cameraman whose been recording the whole thing quietly tries to sneak out the other way, but he is noticed by Jason.

Jason: "You stay there. I'm not done yet. I've got something to say that everyone's going to want to hear."

The cameraman nervously returns to his post as Jason sets up a chair in the center of the camera's view. He sits down and shoots an impatient look at the cameraman. He gives Jason the thumbs-up to proceed. Jason's gaze focuses on the lens, now addressing everyone whose still watching the feed.

Jason: "Hello fans of PRW. I understand that there may be a lot of you out there who still don't know who I am, so allow me reintroduce myself... My name is Jason Garrick. I came into PRW during its inaugural year back in 2005. During my time here, I've achieved everything this company has had to offer and more. I am a former X-Division Champion. Three-time Tag Team Champion. Three-time Undisputed Champion. First-ever Grand Slam Champion. PRW Hall of Famer. Hell, I was even the Commissioner at one point in time. That is why I'm the Most Successful Man in PRW. And with Summerfest on the horizon, PRW is about to celebrate its eleventh anniversary as part of the professional wrestling industry. Where as most promotions would have folded by now, PRW has remained. However, let's be honest with ourselves shall we? Despite standing the test of time, PRW has become a sinking ship. Ratings are plummeting. Interest in the product is failing. Profits are at an all-time low. I've been keeping an eye on the product these past few years that I've been gone. And it's become clear to me that if PRW is to be saved, then a change in leadership is needed now more than ever. Which brings me to the Bucks Family, or most specifically, William Reynold Bucks III..."

Garrick's expression turns deadly serious.

Jason: "Although Russ Bellinger may have started this company, it was Bucks who financed it along the way and ended up with controlling interest. This means that William and his family are currently the principal owners of PRW and everything that comes in and out of here goes through them. However, Bucks' business model is no longer working and things are starting to fall apart. To put it in simple terms, PRW is beginning to rot from the inside out. If things keep going the way they are, PRW will be gone within the next year or two. So Bucks... I know you're watching right now. Like I said, everything that happens in this company goes through you first. Therefore, I want you to listen very carefully to what I'm about to say next... I, Jason Garrick, would like to purchase PRW from you."

Gasps are heard from the staff that are still present in the interview room. Unfazed, Jason continues.

Jason: "I'm prepared to make you a very generous offer for controlling interest of PRW. Once this company is in my capable hands, I'll lead us all into a new golden age of popularity and of course, profitability. After all, who better to lead PRW back down the road of success, than The Most Successful Man in PRW? Basically Bucks, what this means for you is that I'm offering you a way out of this mess you've created for yourself. All you have to do is just sign the dotted line. But of course, I'm fully aware of just how important of a decision this is. After all, depending on what you decide to do, you will forever change the landscape of PRW. That is why I'm giving you a couple of days to think it over. I urge you to use that time wisely and weigh your options carefully."

Garrick sits up and buttons his jacket. As he's about to leave, he turns back to face the camera once more.

Jason: "Before I go William, let me just leave you with this. You've gotten to know me pretty well over the years seeing as I've been apart of PRW since its inception. Therefore, you know what I'm capable of. And you also know that one way or another, I always get what I want... Always. Please try to keep that in mind as you come to a decision over these next few days. I'll be seeing you soon."

With that, Jason offers his arm to his wife Chelsey standing off to the side. She graciously accepts his gesture and plants a kiss on his cheek for good measure. Together they exit the room, leaving everyone left inside and watching online in shock as they ponder what the future may hold for PRW.
