Two days. That was how long the entire world had to wait until they could witness, probably the biggest and most anticipated, match in PRW today. Two groups of excited fans would be in attendance at the event, all cheering on their fearless leader to victory, wanting nothing more than to see him start off the year right. Words have been exchanged since NOX gave Carlos the nod to their big encounter in Texas, neither one holding back a punch or two. Training had been a top priority for the respected competitors, neither one wanting to get caught slipping in their top dollar and social media trending match. One day after Carlos’s family dinner was recorded and put up yesterday to be seen, the scene opened up with the Bronx native behind the wheel of his snazzy ride. Cruz was dressed in a ‘Jesus Belongs in My City’ hoodie, with some Denim jeans on. He remained focus on the road, hearing as die hard Jesus Freak fans drove by him, even a few haters threw insults at him. Gradually the roads became less and less busy, giving The Descended Saint time to think as he mentally prepared himself for NOX. Each time Carlos found himself up in the middle of the night, looking over NOX’s and his own matches, jotting down several notes which were related to how he would counter the Hall of Famer’s infamous moves in case the opportunity presented itself. Carlos was grinding hard on his training, always asking his father to keep the cameras away when he was either pumping iron, or working on his craft in the ring. He wanted nothing to be leaked out to his opponent, but surprise NOX with every licking he planned to deliver.
Carlos: Growing up, my favorite story from the Bible my parents told my brothers and I was the one of David. He was a small shepherd boy who cared for the sheeps of his father. Whenever a bear or a lion would come around to devour the innocent and defenseless animals, David did not hesitate in protecting the sheeps. He was a fearless warrior who put his own life on the line, day in and day out. And he never bragged about his accomplishments, by running over to his father and telling him what he had done. No, he knew it was his job to protect the sheeps. Even if he didn’t get any praise from his family or the people in his town.
Catching sight of a red light dead ahead, Carlos leisurely put on the brakes as he turned off the air conditioner in his car. Taking a sip of water from his transparent bottle, Carlos cranked his head sideways still feeling the soreness from his early morning training today. Wiping some trickling drops of water from his bottom lips, Carlos narrowed his eyes as he gradually pressed down on the accelerator pedal. Once the green light appeared, Carlos went on his way to driving and speaking.
Carlos: Even when he went to the battlefield, where a ravenous and heinous giant was bringing chaos and destruction with every step he took, David bravely said that he would take on the giant when no one wouldn’t. The soldiers gathered around him all had a cow, laughing at the puny boy who guaranteed victory against their foe. Before David went to where Goliath was calling out for a challenger to meet him in battle, King Solomon sent out his men to seek a fearless warrior who would save Israel. David’s own brothers were thought to be that choice. However, the Lord stated that it wasn’t David’s older siblings who would save His people. That was when David was anointed to become Israel’s fearless hero.
Turning the car into a parking lot, Carlos momentarily paused from speaking as he searched for a spot to park, taking the time to gather his thoughts. Finally finding a spot to park, Carlos remained casual as he turned his car off, taking his keys and phone with him as he exited the vehicle. With one foot out of the car, Carlos paused as he kept his back towards the camera seated in the passenger’s seat.
Carlos: Near the Valley of Elah, David and Goliath placed their names in the history books. However, it was faith and a measly pebble that shifted the tide in David’s favor. With those two things, David not only permanently silenced his foe but also those around him who second guessed him.
Finally stepping out of the car, Carlos continued to give him back towards the viewers at home, his sole focus on a very paramount scenery before him.

Carlos: That right before me will be our Valley of Elah NOX. That is where our battle will take place, being transmitted to every single home and electronic device around this globe. The Carter-Finley Stadium will be filled to capacity with the young and old restlessly cheering both of us on, as we tear one another to shreds. Thankfully the Carter-Finley Stadium doesn't have a roof since you and I are going to show the world why we are truly the main event of Salvation, and not the X-Division Championship match. NOX, let’s face it. You’re a giant covered with achievements from head to toe. You’ve seen it and done it all. And me? I love who I am, and what I’ll be walking into our match as. The story of David and Goliath will be yet again be played out before the world on Sunday. A giant will fall, and a boy will rise to become a king.
Halfway turning towards the camera behind him, Carlos was revealed to have a clenched jaw and piercing eyes quenched in passionate flames.
Carlos: You say it was a mistake to accept my challenge NOX? You think my mind and heart aren’t solely wrapped around our match? I’m a fake uh? A FRAUD?! Boy you have no idea what I’m capable of. But come Sunday, I’ll wipe away all of your doubts. Come Salvation, when the dust settles in our Valley of Elah, Joseph NOX I plan on beheading you and showing the world that you never should have signed that contract in the first place. But hey, when this is all done, I’d like us to forget about the animosity we have towards one another, and you accept my invitation to my victory dinner back at home. My family would love to meet the vessel Goliath decided to occupy. See you Sunday NOX. And please, have some room in your stomach next week.
Winking at the camera, Carlos snickered as he threw up a peace sign, making his way to arena before him while humming a hymn.
