Hes back!
Bane is seen sitting in his gym, taping up his hands, preparing for another training session with his crew of trainers and assistants. Bane looks pretty good considering he has not really been seen since getting attacked by Manik Mercer a few weeks ago. Bane checks the tape on his fists and decides its not enough so he tapes his fists a little more. Bane looks up at the camera and begins to speak.

Bane: Tables, Ladders, Chairs. Three words that would cause a normal wrestler to crap himself but for me it's just another day in the park. People have asked me why I picked this match when there is no title on the line. There is nothing to climb the ladder and retrieve. To those people I say that there is something to retrieve. For one wrestler it is his pride. You see Manik Mercer has lost his pride. When he found out that he could not beat me he took *Bane smiles to himself* Desperate Measures to try and take me out of this match. Unfortunately for you Mr. Mercer I come from a different generation. I come from a generation where wearing a crimson mask on your face is a badge of honor. I come from a generation where we were not sports entertainers but we were warriors drowning in the blood of our enemies and friends. We wrestled in front for five hundred people and we spilled our blood for them. Why did we do this you may ask yourself. We did it for the fans. That is what they wanted and that is exactly what we gave them night in and night out for years. You see Mercer, I did this for over twenty years until a certain company came out with the PG era. Now everyone wants to be politically correct and no one wants to see blood anymore. But that is not true. That is what the higher ups want you to think. But the fans are out there. The fans who would come to the bingo halls and dimly lit high school gyms to watch two warriors go face to face in an all out brawl until one man was left standing. That man was not always me but after you were done you went out and had a nice dinner with the thirty five dollars you got for losing or the fifty dollars you got for winning the match or you would go to the emergency room and get stitched up, paying out of your own damn pocket because the wrestling promoters were too damn cheap to pay for you to get fixed up. That is what in is the case at the top of the ladder for me. I want a return to that old school way. I want to come into a match, win or lose, and go home not having to worry about some jerk-off loser attacking me after a match because he is afraid of what I stand for. What do I stand for? I stand for men who are still tolling around making shit money getting injured every night in the backyards of America. I stand for the men and women who are in Japan and Mexico putting on clinics but because the have a language barrier or they are too violent they don't get picked up by major promotions. I stand for the legends of professional wrestling who can't stand for themselves because of the countless injuries they have sustained in their career, the wrestlers who cannot remember their names because they have taken one too many chair shots to the head. Finally I stand against the current culture of *sarcastically* sports entertainment that everyone wants to push down the damn throat of every kid in the world. Higher ups have tried to erase the old school ways of professional wrestling but as long as I still stand, old school wrestling will still have a torch bearer in John Bane.

Bane takes a deep breath and continues.

Bane: Mercer, at Desperate Measures the old school is coming and we want to reclaim our spot on top of the wrestling world.

Bane smiles at the camera and continues.

Bane: And I will die before I let you get that case at the top of the ladder. Sleep well Mercer for Desperate Measures fast approaches and old school professional wrestling will thrive once again. See you soon Mercer.

Bane stands up and punches the locker putting a huge dent in it as the scene fades out.
