The crowd seem pump for tonight’s stacked card, this card could possibly go down in PRW history books if all goes to plan. There is a moment of suspense among the crowd as they await the wrestler set to preform, the lights dim and the crowd let out a cheer....

Power by Kayne West sounds out through the speakers and the lights flicker with red, white and blue. English flags flash on the titantron screen and are met with boos from the Scottish crowd,

Smith: Shane getting some grief already with the crowd, an English man in Scotland not the best for him is it.

Brunswick: Or it could be that he is a sly, dirty cheat. Everywhere Shane goes the crowd boos.

The red, white and blue lights all point to the curtain at the top of the ramp.

Posted Image

Shane appears from behind the curtain, he wears a leather biker jacket with a grey hoodie underneath, he has on wrestling shorts and wrestling boots.

Saget: Making his way to the ring, coming from London, England...(The Scottish crowd boo) Shane Parrrdooooeee.

Shane walks down the ramp on his own, Frank is no where to be seen but Shane looks confident. He walks with a fast pace and reaches the steps, he takes a look out at the crowd, raises his arm and then turns and heads inside the ring he walks to the far side and stands in a corner lightly bouncing on his toes. Shane removes his jacket and hoodie, he now stands in just his shorts, boots and hand wraps. Shane bends forward and places his hands on his knees and waits for his opponent to enter the ring.

The lights drop and a loud guitar chord rings out over the sounds system. The crowd, being somewhat familiar with the man about to make his entrance, gives a tepid reaction in anticipation. It's still early in what promises to be a long, action-packed show, and the audience isn't too inclined to spend their energy on relative nobodies.

A second guitar chord rings out. The full band kicks into a fast-paced punk rock cadence, as "Shattered" by Dropkick Murphys pumps through the SECC.

Something's gone wrong with the world today
What's the matter with the human race
Everybody's fighting for more power and money
Braveheart's a racist
The paperboy's a junkie

Through the curtain walks "The Angel of Vengeance" Danny O'Brian, clad in a Pogues t-shirt, black jeans, boots, and a trench coat that nearly reaches the floor. He stops on the stage for a moment, expressionless, peering out in the crowd before making his way down the aisle. He slaps a few hands offered from members of the Scottish audience who have already decided to favor the Irish American over the Englishman in the ring.

Saget: And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, USA, "The Angel of Vengeance" DAAAAAAAAANNYYYY OOOOOOO'BRIANNNNN!

Reaching the ring steps, O'Brian climbs them methodically, entering the ring and removing his trench coat and shirt.

The crowd stand united in silence as both Danny and Shane stare at each other from opposite sides of the ring, both men take little steps to their right and never take their eyes of one another. Shane rolls his wrists and cracks his neck while Danny pulls on his left arm to give it a stretch. The steps they take now begin to form a circle with each man never losing site of the other, the first battle is now taking place, both men trying to psych out the other but neither men budging from their stance.

Danny is the first to test the water and stamps out his foot in order to gauge a reaction from Shane but Shane stood his ground and didn't flinch, he just smiled. Danny now decides it time to move forward and apply some pressure on Shane, he breaks the circled track they had made and takes a couple steps forward, Shane quickly reacts by climbing through the ropes and complaining about something to the ref, Danny signals for Shane to get back into the ring and so does the referee.

Shane slowly enters the ring while never taking his eyes off of Danny, Danny rushes forwards but again Shane climbs back through the ropes.

Brunswick: What on earth is Shane doing, does he want in on this match or because he's body gaurd isn't here he has lost all confidence.

Smith: No, no. I think he wants the ref to check if Danny is holding anything illegal. Well that's what I could make out from what I heard.

Brunswick: What a thing to assume, shouldn't he be the one who is checked.

'The Angel Of Vengeance', shouts at Shane to get back in the ring and Shane replies to the referee asking his to dust him down, the ref agrees but as long as Shane gets in the ring first. The referee orders Danny to take a few steps back so Shane can get back into the ring and he does so. Shane slides under the bottom rope and pushes up to his feet, the referee asks Danny to hold out his arms while he frisks him but Danny refuses to allow it to happen, Shane then complains again to the referee “See, why wont he let you. He must have something on him.” The referee turns again to Danny and tells him to begin the match he has got to be frisked, and begrudgingly Danny holds out his arms to allow the referee to search him; but as soon as the ref pats Danny down Shane runs from across the ring and lands with a jumping forearm, he narrowly avoid the ref but catches Danny square in the face forcing him to stumble back first into the corner.

Brunswick: What a cheat, the guy forced the ref to distract Danny and as soon as the opportunity rose he jump on him. I'm not a fan of cheating tactics.

Smith: You say cheating, I say well planned. Shane knows how to use all the tools and tricks to his advantage and he just proved that right there.

Shane begins to set about Danny in the corner landing forearm after forearm to the head, Danny manages to block one though and reverses the attack. Now Danny lands forearms to Shane forcing him back, Shane recoils on each blow and steps back closer to the ring ropes. Once at the ropes Danny grabs hold of Shane's arm and whips him to the other side of the ring, Shane rebounds of the opposing ropes and comes running back to Danny who fires away with a mean chop that sounds around the arena.

CROWD: OOOOHHHHH!!

Shane's face shows just how painful that was and his cry out in pain put the cherry on top for Danny, Shane stumbles forward with his hands pressed tightly against his chest and Danny comes from behind then spins Shane round and lands another big chop across the chest.

CROWD: OOOOOHHHHH!!

Brunswick: The crowd loving these chops from Danny, and I have to admit I'm loving them too.

Smith: What happened to being impartial, we are meant to call it like we see it not take side. But seeing as you chose I have to say Danny is the one the referee should watch, I saw the hair pull before the Irish whip, I saw the blatant punch when he was getting out the corner. Danny is far from the innocent one here.

This time Shane doubles over with his arms crossed against his chest, his mouth is wide open and eyes are shut tight, Danny brings his arm over his own head and brings is crashing down over Shane's back forcing Shane to take a knee. Danny continues his assault by grabbing onto the head of Shane and swinging it backwards into the canvas, Shane covers up but Danny unfolds him and goes for the cover. One, T...Kickout. The referee shoots up one finger and calls that it was only a one count, Danny doesn't look surprised but sort of glad that he gets to continue his beat down on Shane. He grabs Shane's head and begins to pick him up, but Shane notices the referee is still focused on the outside telling them it was a one count, so Shane brings his arm up in-between Danny's legs landing a low blow. Danny drops to the canvas and the referee snaps his head toward Shane who is explaining he landed an uppercut that dropped him.

The referee looks from Pardoe making uppercut motions to O'Brian kneeling on the mat holding his groin and is clearly suspicious. Pardoe, proclaiming his innocence, appeals to the audience at ringside, who loudly and overwhelmingly contradict his story. Pardoe tells them all to shut up and swears he didn't do anything that could be considered against the rules. The referee suspects the lady doth protest too much, but since he didn't see the strike, can do no more than warn Pardoe.

Brunswick: Look at Shane Pardoe, lying to the referee and having the nerve to yell at the audience for telling the truth.
Smith: Well truth depends on perspective, Brunny.
Brunswick: Every perspective in the building saw that blatant low blow.
Smith: I didn't see anything, and you can't prove that I did.

Meanwhile, the display gives Danny O'Brian time to recover from the attack below the belt. He sneaks behind Pardoe, hooking an arm around the standing man's leg and flipping him over into a roll-up pin attempt. A look of shock appears on the Englishman's face as he goes ass-over-tea-kettle to the mat below and the referee slides into position.

One!

Tw--Kickout!

Pardoe kicks out, the momentum flipping him over so that he's facing O'Brian. O'Brian rolls to his feet at the same time, catching Pardoe by the arm as he charges and flipping him with a textbook arm drag. Pardoe hits the mat and quickly rolls to his feet, taking another arm drag for his trouble. After the second tumble, Pardoe decides to regroup and rolls under the bottom rope, again to the outside of the ring.

The referee scolds Pardoe, insisting that he get back in the ring before starting the count. At ringside, the fans jeer the Englishman for running away, and he threatens to backhand a few of them. Pardoe demands O'Brian back away from the ropes, pausing to hurl a few more insults at the ringside audience before stepping toward the ring to enter it again. The pause gives O'Brian enough time to charge Pardoe, dropping to the mat and driving his feet under the bottom rope and knocking Pardoe back into the ringside barrier.

Smith: Oh what the hell was that?
Brunswick: I believe the technical term is a baseball slide.
Smith: That's not fair. Shane Pardoe was trying to get back in the ring.

Doug Smith, apparently oblivious to his own hypocrisy, continues to cry foul as O'Brian gets to his feet. He runs to the opposite ropes, rebounds off and charges toward Pardoe again, leaping up and over the top rope as Pardoe again approaches the ring. The senton bomb to the outside connects and both men fall to the ground at ringside in a heap. The audience gives the move a respectable reaction, while the fans at ringside directly in front of the action are understandably a lot more excited.

O'Brian makes his way to his feet, pulling himself up on the barrier in front of the audience, who, being the type to enjoy seeing an Englishman get beaten up, give him several pats on the back and high-fives and other assorted good-natured expressions. The camera is close enough to hear O'Brian remark to the audience that "I bet he's a fucking Tory, too," eliciting raucus laughter from the crowd--many of whom are already at least partially intoxicated even though this is the first match of the card--and a sign of relief from the folks in the production truck who are glad that we're on pay-per-view.

The Angel of Vengeance turns his attention back to Pardoe, still on the ground but trying to return to a vertical base, and decides to help him out. O'Brian grabs the fallen man's head and lifts him to his feet, no doubt intending more punishment but he receives a blatant rake to the eyes instead. O'Brian grabs his face and stumbles backwards, momentarily blinded, allowing Pardoe to retake the advantage by grabbing O'Brian's head and slamming it unceremoniously onto the side of the ring. O'Brian's skull bounces off of the apron, sending him backwards again, as Pardoe grabs it once more and drives O'Brian face first into the guard rail. O'Brian collapses against the barrier, but Pardoe does not let up, lifting his opponent to his feet and rolling him back into the ring.

O'Brian crawls toward the center of the ring, shaking his head to clear his thoughts, as Pardoe rolls under the bottom rope behind him to finally break the referee's count. Climbing to his feet, Pardoe drives a boot down onto O'Brian's back, then another, and another.

Smith: That's what I'm talking about!
Brunswick: Doug, he cheated. Again.
Smith: I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't see any cheating.
Brunswick: Of course you didn't.
Smith: I don't appreciate your tone.

With Danny subdued by the foot of Shane the fans begin to show their distaste for Shane, but it is just like water of a duck's back he laughs and sticks his middle finger up to his down opponent and then raises it towards the crowd.

Brunswick: Maybe Danny was right, Shane is a Tory. He uses cheap tricks, plays dirty and totally disregards the people who pay his wages. Sounds just like David Cameron to me.

Smith: Isn't Cameron a Scottish name though? I thought they would have loved him.

Danny continues to try and escape any more punishment but Shane has other ideas, Shane reaches down and grabs onto the face of Danny the referee takes a close look and scorns Shane for using fish hooks. Shane stands up straight with his hands in the air professing his innocence but to little avail, the referee scolds Shane issuing a strong warning and insists him to keep the match clean. Danny used the time brought by the ref to roll out of striking distance, he now starts to make his way to his feet and Shane notices. Shane turns to face the rising Chicagoan, the referee backs away as Danny runs toward Shane he barely misses with a swinging arm. Shane turns on his heels after making Danny miss and as he turns he lets rip with a open hand slap to the turning Danny, stunned but not rocked Danny fires away with one of his own then the two begin to trade blows in the centre of the ring.

Brunswick: Danny has a history of using his hands in combat, he was a bare knuckle fighter in his earlier days I doubt it's a smart move for Shane to stand toe to toe.

Smith: Are you serious Shane is a decorated hard man on the streets of England, he is a true self made millionaire and he has certainly had to get into his fair share of scraps.

The two men continue to trade shots with neither of them budging from their stances. Shane is the first to break, Danny manages to land two strikes and messes up the rhythm of the stand off, Shane is forced to recoil back and Danny seizes the opportunity. O'brian lands a clothesline that floors Shane who quickly makes it back to his feet, Danny hits him with another and this time Shane doesn't get up, Danny lands an elbow drop into the chest of Shane and goes for the cover, One, Tw...Kick out. Shane manages to get his should up off the canvas and Danny looks a little pissed and slams Shane's shoulders into the canvas once more and goes for the cover. One.. Kick out, Shane manages to kick out even quicker this time. Danny places both hands around The English Man's neck and lifts him up as he himself stands, once to to their feet Danny hooks Shane's arm around his own neck and does the same with his arm and Shane's neck, he snaps back with a quick suplex, Shane goes to show his pain but Danny jumps on top of him and goes for the cover, One, T... Kick out. Another kick out from Shane and Danny just shakes his head, he lays a few forearm strikes into Shane's face while holding onto the hair at the back of Shane's head, the crowd are now getting behind Danny who appears to have the upper hand at this point in the match.

Smith: Shane needs to go back to that tactic book he hand at the start of this match and gain the upper hand here.

Brunswick: I think he would if he could Doug, but Danny has taken control of this match and looks set to win if this continues.

Shane with his hand on the lower part of his back rolls over onto his front, Danny stands up and wipes the sweat from his forehead, with a deep breath he continues his attack on Shane. He reaches in and grabs Shane's hand and throws it to the side, as soon as Shane's hand hits the canvas, Danny, drops his elbow into the small of Shane's lower back. Shane arches up with his one arm stretched out in front of him and one arm on the impact zone, Danny gets back to his feet and stands over Shane, he places one foot either side of Shane's body, he then drops his right knee down and digs it into the lower back area again then he grabs hold of Shane's chin and pulls back. Shane cries out in clear pain, both his hands push up off the canvas trying to take away any pressure on his back but it isn't working. He doesn't have the strength advantage like he did with Endura this is a 50/50 match and he is currently loosing and in a lot of trouble.

Brunswick: Sort of a modified rear chinlock there, but it seems to be working!
Smith: Yeah yeah, he got lucky. This match is far from over, Brunny.

O'Brian releases Pardoe's chin, standing up again and sizing the prone man up for another elbow across the lower spine. As O'Brian drops, Pardoe manages to roll out of the way just in time. O'Brian sits up after the impact, holding his elbow in pain, giving Pardoe time to scamper to the ropes and pull himself up. O'Brian gets to his feet as well, ready to exact vengeance for the clever avoidance.

O'Brian charges the weakened Pardoe, who ducks under the attack and flips his opponent over the top rope. O'Brian lands on the ring apron, but Pardoe stays low and drives his shoulder into the Irishman's midsection, doubling him over. Shane hooks an arm over O'Brian's head and vice versa, grabbing the side of O'Brian's pants and lifting him up and over with a textbook vertical suplex from the apron. Pardoe takes a few seconds to recover, then rolls over for a pin attempt of his own.

One!

Two!

Kickout!

By the look on his face, the audience can tell Pardoe had hoped that to be the end of it, but the match goes on. Pardoe looks to press his advantage, climbing to his feet and delivering a swift kick to O'Brian's midsection as he gets to his hands and knees. O'Brian rolls onto his back, and Pardoe kneels beside him and starts delivering a series of stiff punches to his opponent's face.

Smith: Yes! Break his face! Make him uglier than he already is! If that's even possible.
Brunswick: You're sick, you know that?

Temporarily halting the vicious assault, Pardoe gets to his feet and walks to the ropes. He shouts insults back at the crowd, who respond with raucus boos, jeers, middle fingers, and a couple of half-filled cups of beer. And if a Scot is willing to throw half of a beer purchased at a sporting event(and therefore obscenely expensive) at someone, that is hatred.

As Pardoe is getting his jollies, another part of the crowd begin to cheer. Confused, he turns around...and eats a right hook to the jaw that sends him staggering, holding on to the ropes to stay upright. O'Brian took the break to get to his feat, deciding to give Pardoe some fisticuffs of his own. Pardoe staggers into the corner where he is caught by O'Brien, who delivers a few more stiff blows to the head and body, leaving Pardoe slumped against the turnbuckles.

O'Brian backs up a step and roars out at the crowd, who cheer in approval, turns back to Pardoe for more punishment. Pardoe, in desperation, jabs O'Brian in the eye with a thumb, blatantly violating the rules once again for an advantage. The referee is livid once again, screaming at Pardoe to keep it clean, but the damage is done. O'Brian's hands go to his face and he turns away from Pardoe to put distance between them while he's temporarily blinding, but Pardoe steps forward to O'Brian's side, ducking under his arm and wrapping his own arm around O'Brian's waist. Pardoe lifts O'Brian in the air and drops him.

Brunswick: Belly to back suplex, and he dropped the back of Danny O'Brian's head right on the turnbuckle!

Indeed, Pardoe went for a belly to back suplex, but the ring position allowed him to stay standing and drop O'Brian, the Irishman's head and shoulders slamming down onto the turnbuckle before he fell forward to the mat. Pardoe, rubbing his face, rolls O'Brian over onto his back and goes for another cover.

One!

Two!

Th--No!

Smith: O'Brian got his foot on the ropes!? Really!? Is that even still a rule!?
Brunswick: It absolutely is, Doug, and it's smart strategy: put a leg on the rope to break the pin instead of using the energy it would take to kick out.

Shane Pardoe
Rookie
Annoyed but focused on what needs to be done Shane rolls out under the bottom rope, he then grab hold of Danny's arm and drags him towards the corner post, Shane lands a punch to the down man's ribs then places Danny's arm against the ring post. Shane takes a step backwards and does a little jump as he lands a kick to Danny's elbow, flesh, bone, steel and rubber all collide and Danny recoils in pain, he rolls toward the centre of the ring with his elbow in wrapped into his own body. Shane, on the outside of the ring has a back and fourth with a member of the crowd and the referee begins his count and then checks on Danny.

After finishing the argument in which the fan tried to hit Shane with an empty cup, Shane decides to get back into the ring, he stretches out his back and climbs onto the apron. Danny holds his elbow as he makes his way to his feet and manages to get vertical before Shane can get into the ring, as Shane tries to enter Danny rushes him but Shane was quick with his reaction and turns as he throws an elbow out that catches Danny in the face sending him stumbling back. Shane follows the retreating Danny and grabs him on the back of the head and shoulders, he spins him around then forces his arm behind his back then lifts him up for a scoop slam, Danny lands on the arms and shouts out in pain, Danny knows the pin wont work so decides to add a little more punishment to the elbow.

Danny is sitting with his back towards Shane and is nursing his elbow, Shane slaps him on the back of the head and reaches round and takes control of the worked arm forcing it behind his back. Shane wrenches up and Danny does his best to keep the cries from passing his lips but is doesn't matter how tough your mind id your body sometimes does things out of your control and he shouts out with every wrench and twist.

Smith: Told you Brunny, Shane's got this.

The referee makes sure Shane isn't doing anything wrong as he normally is but can see everything is legit, Danny tries to scoot himself closer to the rope hoping they can bail him out again but Shane is wise to the trick now and every time Danny goes to move he cranks up the pressure. Shane lands a few forearm shots to the back of Danny's head as he hold his arm but it wasn't a thought out plan, Danny manages to slip out of the hold and gets to his feet. He lands a kick to the mid section of Shane that forces him to bend over, with his good arm he hooks the neck of Shane. Shane sends a punch up and hits Danny in his bad and manages to reverse what ever Danny had in mind, Shane grabs hold of Danny's waist and flips him for a Northern Lights Suplex then goes for the pin.

The referee jumps into action and Danny kicks out at two much to Shane's surprise, Shane gets to his feet his movement are noticeably slower. Danny protects his arm by rolling onto his front, he also looks tired from the match, so far he has been willing to push the body a little more take the extra risk but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have paid off. Shane moves over to Danny and lands a stomp to the shoulders then reaches in to pick up the Irish man from the USA, Shane forces him up and lands a knee to the gut for his troubles. Placing his hands on Danny's shoulders Shane leads him to the corner and places him in back first, he lands a punch to the jaw then circles away taking around 4 steps out to the centre of the ring, he then runs towards his opponent and jumps in the air looking for a splash but Danny saw it coming a mile away and moves leaving Shane to go crashing down chest first into the turn-buckle.

Brunswick: Perfect timing there from Danny, he is now back into this match.

Smith: His arm doesn't look to great though, how much long can he carry on?

Brunswick: He's a tough man I'm sure he'll be fine, he has more fight in that elbow than Shane does in his entire body.

Pardoe collides with the turnbuckles, bouncing off and dropping to his back on the mat just beside O'Brian, who managed to roll out of the way but ended up down as well. O'Brian clutches his damaged arm to his body as he crawls to the ropes and begins to pull himself up. Pardoe is up just a bit faster, moving toward O'Brian to press his attack yet again. He approaches the Irishman's back as he leans up against the ropes, but O'Brian hears him coming and swings a strike with his back elbow, connecting with Pardoe's jaw. Pardoe grabs his face and staggers back, taken by surprise. O'Brian leaps up to the middle rope, bouncing off and turning toward Pardoe. O'Brian puts a leg out, driving it into his English opponent's head as both fall to the mat.

Brunswick: SPRINGBOARD YAKUZA KICK!

The crowd breaks out in cheers, trying to will O'Brian to make a pin. Pardoe is flat on his back and not moving. O'Brian is still clutching his arm to his body, but after several seconds he rolls over and drapes his good arm across Pardoe's chest. The referee slides into position.

One!

Two!

Th--Kickout!

Pardoe gets his shoulder up at about two and a half, the Yakuza Kick obviously doing some damage but not quite enough to put him away. O'Brian shakes his arm in an attempt to recover it as much as he can, and pushes himself carefully to his feet. Pardoe is also beginning to stir now, having rolled to his stomach and pushed up onto his hands and knees. O'Brian moves in front of Pardoe, grabbing the downed man's head, obviously intending to continue his own advantage now. Pardoe has other ideas, though, throwing another while arm out which connects with O'Brian's nether regions, Fortunately for him, the referee is out of position to see it.

Smith: Yes! Get him Shane!

O'Brian doubles over, not falling to the mat only because Pardoe catches him on the way down. Pardoe hooks an arm over O'Brian's head and plants him face-first with a DDT. Taking a few seconds to catch his breath and shake the cobwebs from his head, Pardoe rolls O'Brian over for a cover attempt of his own. The referee again moves into position as the audience cheers for O'Brian to get up.

One!

Two!

Thr--No!

Another kick out at two and a half. Pardoe crawls over to the referee, slapping his hands together to protest what he saw as a slow count. The referee shakes his head, slapping his own hands together at his normal pace. Seeing that his complaints are unheeded, Pardoe returns to O'Brian, who is about to get to his feet again. Pardoe clubs him in the back once, then again, grabbing the man's weakened arm and falling down on it, wrenching it back up.

Brunswick: Fujiwara arm bar! Pardoe has it locked in. He's trying to tear Danny O'Brian's arm off.
Smith: See, if the referee weren't obviously cheating, this wouldn't be necessary.
Brunswick: The referee is cheating, after that blatant low blow we saw from Shane Pardoe--again!?
Smith: That blow was above the belt, Brunny. You need your eyes checked.

O'Brian cries out in pain, struggling to get away from the hold or reach the ropes. Pardoe wrenches on his arm, raising his hips a bit to apply more pressure. The referee repeatedly asks O'Brian if he submits, but O'Brian refuses to quit. The crowd is worked up now, cheering for O'Brian to escape the painful hold. His face turning red from the pain, O'Brian desperately tries to claw his way to the ropes or find some way to reverse the move.

Each passing moment is a moment in which Danny's arm is screaming out to him to tap, but his mind remains strong and his will unbreakable, he can see the ropes and knows deep down he can make it to them before any permanent damage is done. He edges slowly closer every inch he finds the crowd cheer louder for him, he knows he needs to find them quickly or this match is over, a match in which he has had to endure dirty shots, underhanded tactics and put his body on the line to beat a man who isn't deserving of being in the same ring as him.

Shane on the other hand can sense the time is almost up, he knows Danny is in a painful predicament and his arm can't hold out much longer. He has worked to hard to be second best to anybody and if he can make it to the top he will, even if that means pulling out all the tricks and dirty moves he can find. The road to the top isn't always a straight one, sometimes you have to be crooked, you have to be dirty and you have to be mean. Shane knows where he came from and how he survived back in those days, he knows you couldn't be a good guy to survive, even if in your heart you wanted to be. You had to fight, scratch, and claw your way to the top and that is what he did, it is what he has always done and it has worked for him.

Danny is closing in on the ropes he is about one foot away, the fans cheer loud as they know it will only take him a little more and he is back in this match. Shane pushes up with his hips a little more creating more pressure on the arm and forcing Danny's face deeper into the mat, Danny cries out once more and the referee urges him to tap before any serious damage is done, but the Irish man will not give in, he continues to press towards the ropes.

Shane takes a look over his shoulder and can see Danny's plan to grab the rope, he panics, if Danny gets to the ropes this match will still go on, this exhausting match which has taken him deeper than he has before. This is Shane's first PPV and he had to be in Scotland of all place, the pressure of the PPV was enough but having a crowd who hates everything about you, it's bad enough that he is a dirty fighter, it's bad enough that he gets his gang of thugs to attack people but he is English as well. Yes, Shane can feel the hate from everyone in the arena and normally he would love it but tonight it is a be overwhelming.

With Shane momentarily lost in his thoughts he loses sight of the task at hand and Danny can feel this, the grip of the hold loosens and Danny is able to throw himself forward into a roll, Shane still has the arm but the pressure is off. Danny, in his roll manages to hook his feet onto the bottom rope now and the referee dives into Shane trying to force him to break the hold but he doesn't want to comply, this forces the referee into a fast count, onetwothreefou... Shane lets go of the arm at four and shouts things at the referee I don't this should be repeated. Danny rolls out under the ring clutching his arm and a look of anguish in his face, he stands near the barricade and a couple of fans pat him on the back and offer words of encouragement. Shane turns to find Danny now outside and rolls his eyes, he knew that this match should have been his for the taking then but he just did have the experience to finish it. Danny smiles at Shane who is scowling at the man outsid ethe ring and this prompts Shane to sprint towards the ropes, Danny's smile disappears as he watches as Shane dives through the middle rope and straight towards him, with a little help from a fan who pushes Danny he dives to his left.

The sound of Shane smashing into the barricade is sickening, a groan through out the arena is cut short when they realise Danny got out the way unharmed as he gets back to his feet. Shane remains still on the floor, blood can be seen on his forehead .

Smith: I think we are going to need the medical staff out here, Shane just went face first into that barricade. We defiantly need the medical team out here.

Brunswick: I may not agree with his style and who he is but I agree we need some so medics out here, that impact was huge. He could have a broken neck, spine injury or anything.

Smith: NO, OH MY GOD. Shane's sat up.

Danny stares on in amazement as he watches Shane push himself into a seated position, the crowd who normally boo every action Shane takes have to admire the guts in the man. He still looks dazed and I doubt he knows where he is at the very moment but he has risen out of a whole no one though he would have. Shane uses the barricade as a prop to keep himself upright and tries to wipe the blood from his forehead but only manages to smug it across his face.
