It took Razer some time to regain his slightly lost composure as he came to grips with the fact that Patrick Slaughter kicked out of the Last Walk in the Light. What made that point hit home even harder was the crowd, which went ballistic once Patrick kicked out. The decibel level rose high enough that one could actually feel the Smoothie King Center vibrate underneath their feet.

After letting loose an exasperated breath, the man from Liverpool sat up and looked at The Rabid Underdog, who was favoring his back with his right hand after rolling onto his stomach. The look on Razer’s face was ambiguous as it carried a mix of different emotions, ranging from exasperation to realization – and perhaps a bit of respect. After that, he shook his head before the look was replaced with one of determination. He realized that he could still end this match. So, with that thought in mind, The Enforcer stood up on his feet.

The challenger swallowed a bit to gather up some nerves. What he had planned was going to put a lot of weight on his legs, one of which had been attacked constantly throughout the match. But as he bent over and grabbed Patrick by the head, Razer was prepared to do what was needed to leave this match with the belt.

With Patrick’s head in his grasp, Razer pulled the champion into a front chancery. He took a moment to look out to the crowd before he lifted Patrick up in the air, trying to set up for a Razerplex. However, once he was in the air, Patrick moved around as he struggled in Razer’s grasp before he got out of it, landing behind Razer on his feet. Reacting quickly, The Enforcer turned around to his right, sending his right elbow into the left side of Patrick’s head. The Fort Lauderdale Native grunted out, before he held his head with arms and took a couple of steps forward, grimacing hard as he did so.

Wanting to keep his advantage going, Razer walked up behind Patrick and grabbed the champion’s shoulder with his right hand. He pulled the champion’s shoulder, turning him around forcefully before roughly sending the sole of his right boot into his midsection. As he let out a throaty groan, Patrick Slaughter doubled over as he as he held his stomach. With his opponent in that position, The Enforcer brought his right knee up, slamming it into Patrick’s face. The crack that emanated from the blow caused the crowd to groan in response as The Fort Lauderdale Native stood all the way up, holding his face.

Smith: Razer is doing the right thing here. He’s not dwelling too much on Patrick kicking out earlier. He’s just keeping it going and trying to finish him off.

With Patrick on a vertical base, Razer reached out and grabbed his right arm with his right hand before he turned, sending Patrick towards the nearest turnbuckle with an Irish-whip. Much to Razer’s surprise, however, The Fort Lauderdale Native went into a baseball slide once he was within a few feet of the turnbuckle. Once his feet went underneath the bottom turnbuckle and hit the ring post, Patrick quickly turned his body until he was on his hands and knees and stood up.

Once the Fort Lauderdale Native was up on his feet, Razer charged forward, bringing his right arm out, intent on downing Patrick with a Big Clothesline. However, Patrick took a step forward and bowed a bit, just ducking his head underneath Razer’s arm. He then rose up as he wrapped his right arm around The Enforcer’s shoulders. After that, Patrick hooked Raz’s right leg with his left arm before he threw The Enforcer over his head, sending him back-first into the corner with the T-Bone Suplex! Razer’s back hit the turnbuckle with a thud. He then fell down onto his stomach, falling on a space that was vacated by a rolling Slaughter.

Brunswick: Last time we seen this move was against Razer during their first match on PRW 24/7, and Patrick pulls it out again, sending Razer into the Tree of Woe with the T-Bone Suplex!

Smith: Too bad Patrick’s in no position to capitalize at the moment.

As it turns out, getting hit with The Last Walk in the Light was a very painful experience. Patrick was on his back, looking up at the ceiling with a face twisted by a deep grimace. Meanwhile, Razer remained on his stomach, favoring his back with his right arm.

The referee looked back and forth between the two of them, checking to see if any of them were going to move any time soon. After a shake of the head, the official in stripes raised arms, beginning the count.

One…

The crowd started to murmur as they looked on. All of them feared what no one wanted – that this match was going to end in a tie just like the last time.

Two…

Both men remained still on the mat. However, once the count of…

Three...

…was reached, both men started to show some signs of life. The Enforcer started to roll slowly on his back. At the same time, Patrick lifted his hands ups and repeatedly balled them up and unraveled them.

Four…

Almost at the same time, both men sat up slowly before they turned onto all fours. At the count of…

Five…

…both men started to slowly reach their feet. Neither man had any intention of giving up. And somewhat less importantly, they had no intentions of having this match end in a tie.

Once both men reached their vertical base, Razer was the first to strike, hitting Patrick Slaughter with a right forearm. This prompted the crowd to boo heavily as Patrick’s head jerked to his right. The boos instantly became cheers when Patrick fired off a right forearm of his own. From there, both men continued to exchange forearms, causing the crowd to shift back and forth between booing and cheering.

This finally ended when Patrick managed to block a forearm from Razer with his left arm. The Fort Lauderdale fired off another forearm of his own. Unlike Razer’s last forearm attempt, Patrick’s connected. As Razer was rocked back from the blow, Patrick pressed forward, sending forearm after forearm into The Enforcer’s face until he was pushed back into the middle of the ring. Once there, however, Razer brought his foot up and kicked it into Patrick’s stomach, causing The Fort Lauderdale Native to double over.

From there, Razer turned and ran for the ropes. After turning and leaning back against them, he rebounded and ran back towards Patrick Slaughter. However, once he was within striking distance, he was suddenly lifted up in the air. After turning around, Patrick Slaughter slammed Razer down to the mat with an AA Spinebuster! As the crowd cheered loudly right after the impact, the Fort Lauderdale Native scooted around Razer before making the cover, hooking his outside leg with his arm.

One…

Two…

Razer shot his arm up in the air before the count of three. Patrick let loose a grunt of disappointment as he stood up on his knees. He then reached down and grabbed The Enforcer by the head before pulling him up to his feet. However, once he was pulled up onto his vertical base, Razer quickly blasted Patrick across the jaw with a swift right hook! The crowd groaned in response as Patrick turned all the way down, holding his jaw. Seeing an opening, Razer grabbed Patrick by the head before placing him in an inverted facelock. Finally, he quickly turned and dropped down onto his back, sending the back of his head into the mat with the Whiplash!

Brunswick: AND RAZER TOOK PATRICK SLAUGHTER DOWN WITH THE WHIPLASH!!!

Smith: My goodness! We always talk about how Patrick Slaughter never dies, but Razer is not going away either!

No, Razer was not going to go away – not without a fight. As he sat up, he only took a moment to crack his back, which was hurting quite a bit after hitting Slaughter with the Whiplash, before standing up. Once he was on his feet, he looked at Patrick, then at the nearest turnbuckle. After looking back and forth between the champion and the turnbuckle a few times, he walked up to the ropes before he ducked underneath the top rope, stepping out onto the apron. He then walked up to the turnbuckle and began to climb it.

Brunswick: Well, this is a rare sight. Razer is actually looking to fly.

Smith: Razer only flies when the chips are down. And that title? That’s the hugest chip on the table!

His ascent was slow, movement hindered by the condition of his left leg. He did eventually make it up to the top turnbuckle. Once there, he took some time to make some last second calculations. Deeming the distance between them short enough, Razer stood up and jumped forward. The crowd couldn’t help but watch in awe as Razer moved forward in the air as he flipped backward. As surprisingly graceful as that move was, the landing was far from it, as Patrick raised his knees up, causing Razer to crash down against them! Razer screamed out as he bounced off of Patrick’s knees and onto the mat on his back, holding his midsection. His eyes were slightly widened as he tried to fix his breathing.

Brunswick: AND PATRICK GETS HIS KNEES UP TO COUNTER THE RISING THUNDER!!!

Smith: It was a high risk move. Unfortunately, it didn’t pay off!

Patrick was over this match. He knew that he needed to end this. So, after taking in a breath, he forced himself up to his feet. He then turned and faced Razer, who was still on his back. He walked up to him before he bent over and grabbed him by the left leg. He then used that same leg to pull him into the middle of the ring.

Brunswick: And now Patrick is looking to end this match!

Once he was in the middle of the ring, he pulled Razer’s leg up in the air before he draped it around his neck. He then turned, flipping Razer onto his stomach, and dropped a knee down on the back of Razer’s neck. Finally, he squeezed his arms together, locking in the BSO Lockdown!

Brunswick: BSO Lockdown!!! Patrick Slaughter has the BSO Lockdown locked in!!!

Smith: Razer is in the middle of the ring, away from any of the ropes! This could be end of him!!!

As Razer screamed out through clenched teeth, feeling the pain in both his left leg and back! During this, crowd was going ballistic, sensing that his could be the move that wins the match. This prompted the referee to move in, checking to see if The Enforcer wanted to tap.

Will he?

Eric Steele

Slaughter has his take it home maneuver locked in at the rings center. The audience is invested but none more than the champion himself. Slaughter has put his heart and soul into this contest and he wants to live on another day. Razer finds himself in a very tough spot. His back is aching and he's out of range of ring ropes. The look on his face tells the story of this match. Ref Eric Steele gets in close. Razer's face is distoreted like a prune but he refuses to tap out.

Brunswick: My gawd Doug look at the drive by the challenger here. He wants to power out of the BSO lockdown but, Pat has his knee stabbed into the back. The champion is not letting go.

Smith: Razer better think of something and quick. He can't stand this for long.

The announcers are right. Razer can't continue to endure this pain without giving up. The fans are on their feet and they have no clue what to expect. Razer has quite the winning streak on the line here tonight. Pat on the other hand wants to continue building his championship legacy. The champ yells out as he points the knee deeper into the back. Razers face becomes one with the canvas and the pain is excruciating. Not only will this cause a shorter career but, this could cause some permanent damge.

Steele continues to wait for the tap out but, Razer won't budge. The big man endures the pain and he tries to slide his way toward the rope.....

.

.

PUSH ...... PUSH ...... PUSH ...... The audience is stunned because, Razer is inching his way toward the bottom rope. This man just don't die.

Brunswick: This is amazing...look at the determination in Razers face! He wants this!

Smith: It's all about the Undisputed championship and it means that much.

Brunswick: If he pulls this off I'm sold.

Closer and closer both men slide toward the ropes and then progress stops. Razer lays his head down and it takes Steele a second to realize it but, the challenge passes out just a fingers length away from the bottom rope. Pat continues to clinch as he doesn't realize whats going on.

Steele calls out to Razer and he doesn't respond. He grabs his arm and lifts it into the air. It falls limp and Steele calls for the bell. The audience cheers for the champ as he wins by ref stoppage.

Brunswick: Wow

Smith: What an ending....I can't believe it. Pat wins the match by decision here.

Brunswick: There were points in this match where I thought both men were walking out but, neither would give up. Listen to the fans on their feet...clapping in appreciation not just of the champ but, at the guts of Razer. This is going to be tough for him.

Pat falls onto his side as ref Steele lays the championship across his chest. The champ grabs onto it tightly and he slowly comes to a seated position. He looks over as Razer who lays on the canvas. The champ can't help but, slowly nod his head up and down. He retains the championship tonight.

WINNER: PATRICK SLAUGHTER RETAINS!
