Brunswick: "This is it ladies and gentlemen, the moment we have all been waiting for. The main event of Blackout - Patrick Slaughter, the undisputed champion defending his title against the One Man Army, Razer."

Smith: "The Onslaught Way against the One Man Army... a true test of philosophies here. Doing the right thing against doing whatever it takes... Only one will triumph."

Brunswick: "Since their first encounter, Patrick and Razer have seemingly been on a collision course to clash again. Both men said that the draw was unfinished business and they were both eager to actually see who was the better man out of the two of them."

Smith: "And both have gone through a hell of a lot to get here. Patrick had to deal with the Ninja MAGIC saga, and then proving that he was main event material by finally breaking through the barriers he had set up around himself when it came to the big one... then Kevin Donovan forming the Siege to combat Onslaught"

Brunswick: "Whilst Razer is yet to be defeated in PRW in one on one action, and is yet to be pinned also. He has gone through everyone and everything in his way, building momentum and before anyone realised, he was there, ready and waiting for Patrick the moment he retained his title against Mark Graves"

Saget: "Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is scheduled for one fall and is for the PRW Undisputed Championship...."

As the New Orleans crowd starts to work itself up ready for the match, we get treated to a re-run of the hype package which aired on road to blackout episode three (Music: All Rise by Wovenwar) which helps get the crowd even more fired up. The majority here tonight are in the Onslaught corner, but there is that very vocal minority of Enforcer fans there and a fair few British and English flags around the place too. As the majority of the crowd starts to chant "P-R-DUB" over and over, they are interrupted by the speakers coming to life.

A metallic clanging noise suddenly gives way to a huge wall of distortion as someone shouts

"HEY"

"Can you believe this shit people?"

A distorted voice is heard, like it is addressing a crowd or a rally through a megaphone as pounding drums, bass and dramatic sounding heavy guitars chug away over a series of "aaaah--aaah" styled backing vocals.

"All I need is this city and this mind, and I will get by
Fuck sleep, fuck all of you"

The angry sound of Devin Townsend's voice, accompanied by strobe lights and flashing images of Razer and Patrick Slaughter on the big screen starts to get the crowd focused. You can feel the tension rising as the angry address of "Velvet Kevorkian" by Strapping Young Lad continues.

"Yes... yes!"

(for me, for me, for me, for me)

"But we can never look back because we'll never get a second chance
I like people who can take the pressure!"

"Are you listening? Are you? Fuck you!"

"A new time has come, ladies and gentlemen... boys and girls...
Welcome the fuck home!!"

As "Velvet Kevorkian" finishes, the venue plunges into darkness as a furious sounding guitar riff kicks in. As the lone guitar is joined by a second guitar, the lights start to flash and on the huge blastbeat signalling the arrival of the drums followed by a huge screamed vocal, there is an explosion of silver and lime green pyro as the word "RAZER" flashes up on the tron.

"FUCK YOURSELVES!!"

With the hostile lyrics to "All Hail The New Flesh" by Strapping Young Lad kicking in, there is an intense booing as the smoke on the stage starts to clear and standing there, in the midst of it, with head hung low, arm raised in the air, hand balled into a fist in an act of defiance stands the challenger - Razer.

"Hey man, I'm gonna fuck this shit up
No fear, no compromise - I want it all
I will never be afraid
I'll die for what I believe!"

As the verse kicks in, Razer slowly lowers his arm and brings his head up. Looking out across the venue from behind his sunglasses, he smirks to himself at the reception he is given. "It's just like old times" he thinks to himself as he stands there. Wearing his trademark bandana, leather jacket, Slayer tank top and customised black tights with "Enforcer" down the left leg in red with white outlining. Basking in the negative reaction, Razer slowly begins to walk forwards towards the ring and his date with destiny.

"All Of You Assholes Can Stay Rotting Here
I do not care - I will not be there
I Have Got To Save Myself
Don't tell me there's no-one else!"

As the pre-chorus kicks in, Razer reaches the bottom of the ramp. Pausing in the entry way, he looks around before raising his fist again. As his fist rises, another burst of pyro goes off before he enters the ring for the chorus kicking in.

"And all you are is all you are
I'm so sorry for you - sorry!"

With the chorus playing, Razer climbs up onto one of the turnbuckles and looks across the crowd. Spotting the small elements of support he has tonight, he nods in their direction before jumping down. Taking off his shades and leather and dumping them on the apron, he removes his bandana and stuffs it into his pocket and just stares at the ramp, waiting for Patrick.

"So all hail the new flesh
'Cause it suits me fine!

As the music cuts, Saget makes his announcement

Saget: "In the ring now is the challenger. Standing at 6 foot 4, weighing 260lbs, he is the Enforcer... The One Man Army and champion of the first Conquest tournament.... RAZER!!!"

The crowd reacts about as well as you would expect them to when taking on Patrick Slaughter, the most loved man in PRW.

Saget: "And his opponent...."

Saget lets his words hang as all attention is diverted to the stage, waiting for the Undisputed champion and the physical embodiment of the Onslaught Way to come out.

[ooc: good luck pat! Lets make this a classic!]

As the song started, the lights started to dim, prompting the crowd to cheer lightly in anticipation. As the rhythm started, a lot of Patrick Slaughter’s not-so-highlights played on the Tron, showing the kind of lows that The Fort Lauderdale Native went through. Perhaps fittingly, the footage was paired with certain words from Eminem.

'Cause sometimes you just feel tired,
Feel weak, and when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up.
But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength
And just pull that shit out of you and get that motivation to not give up
And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse.

Just as Eminem started to rap his first verse, both sides of the stage was lit by two columns of flames. The columns burned for a few seconds before they died down, leaving behind smoke. Once the smoke cleared, it showed Patrick Slaughter. His very presence was enough to cause the crowd to cheer loudly to the point that anyone in the stands could hear the venue vibrate. He was dressed in his normal black and yellow suit. Of course, around his waist was the PRW Undisputed World Championship belt. After taking a few moments to survey the crowd, he threw up The L’s, prompting the crowd to cheer once more before he started walking toward the ring, slapping hands with the fans reaching out to him along the way.

Bob Saget: Hailing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, standing at six feet, five inches, and weighing in at 250 pounds, he is your the PRW Undisputed World Champion, The Fort Lauderdale Native… PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATRICK SLAUGHTEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!

Josh: It can be emphasized enough - it’s going to be an interesting clash for sure. Last time these men met, the match actually ended in a no-contest. Ever since then, both men have been on quite a tear, with Patrick Slaughter becoming the PRW Undisputed Champion and Razer boasting a zero in his loss column and winning The Conquest Tournament. Other than the tie, there’s really no animosity between the two of them.

Smith: No animosity is right. The story here is simple enough – one man’s the champ, the other wants to be the champ. Nothing else is needed for these two heavyweights to go at it!

As Doug said those words, Patrick reached the ring. After sliding into the squared circle, he stood up and locked eyes with Razer. Both men looked at each other with furrowed up eyebrows. Each one was expecting the other to put everything on the table. During the staredown, Patrick’s music faded away and the lighting returned to normal. However, the crowd was still cheering in anticipation. The staredown between The Fort Lauderdale Native and The Enforcer didn’t even break when Patrick handed the belt off to the referee. All the two of them were waiting for was the bell.

My Watch Is Done
With eye contact maintained, possibly one of the least personal and least drama filled Undisputed title programmes is about to enter its final phase. As noted by many, there hasn't been any personal shots between Pat and Razer. There hasn't been any attacks on the Onslaught or on Bella. It has just been Razer and Pat talking about this match. For five weeks now the pair have prepared for this moment. Aside from the Florida Rumble and the disastrous debut of El Boomo, the newest British talent in PRW, both Pat and Razer have kept a low profile. Sticking only to training and promotional duties, ensuring that they were both at their best for this crucial and possibly career deciding and career defining match.

With referee Eric Steele going over the rules once again, Razer and Pat simply nod at each other. Before Steele signals for the bell, Razer holds his hand out to Pat. Cautious at first, Pat hesitates, but he finally reaches out and shakes Razer's hand firmly. With both men maintaining civility and professionalism to the very end, they break the handshake and nod to the official. Slowly backing away, both men wait for the ring of the bell.

-DING!-

As the bell rings, the fans are quick to build behind Slaughter. Despite the trash talk which the Siege have been doing. Making a huge smear campaign against the Onslaught main man, the capacity crowd in New Orleans is firmly behind the Onslaught which begs the question, are the fans only humouring the Siege when they are out her. Cheering out of pity? You ask any one of these people here tonight and they will most certainly tell you that, that is in fact the case.

Smith: "And we're off!"

With constant eye contact maintained, Razer and Patrick begin the standoff. Circling the ring slowly, the two men tease at going forwards as they make their initial pass, but it is only on the second pass of the ring when they actually do. Two of the biggest men in PRW meet. Locking horns with a collar and elbow tie-up to begin with, this match starts off very differently to their previous encounter. Instead of the boot from Razer which initiated that match, it is Patrick who gets the upper hand. Adjusting his grip, he breaks the tie up effort and drags Razer into an Irish whip set up. Razer reverses the whip attempt and tries to drag Slaughter into a clothesline but Pat manages to duck under it. Both men quickly step away from each other and turn to face off once again. Once again, the pair tie up but instead of Pat getting the upper hand, Razer simply shoves pat backwards. as Pat steps back, Razer, seemingly bored of the locking up brings his arms up.

Brunswick: "Razer's showing right off the bat what he's here to do tonight. He's not here to wrestle, he's here to throw some punches and beat his way to the title!"

Shaking his head, Pat brings his arms up and watches for Razer's first strike which is a quick right hand shot. Shuffling back, Pat manages to avoid the initial blow and he gets his arm out to catch the follow up left hook attempt. Taking tight hold of Razer's wrist, Slaughter drags the Englishman forwards and throws him towards the ropes again for an Irish Whip. As razer hits the ropes, Pat gets ready for the rebound and goes low. Charging in, he catches Razer round the waist and drops the challenger to the canvas with a double leg takedown. The fans let out a decent pop as Slaughter brings Razer down, and presses the advantage. Keeping Razer on the mat, Pat rolls him over onto his back and gets him in a ground variant of a side headlock. Struggling to get free, Razer tries to push up to his hands and knees but Pat uses his leverage to keep him down on the canvas. Though neither men are fans of the chain wrestling and technical side of this game, you can clearly see pat is using anything and everything he has in his trick bag to try and get himself an advantage against arguably the most dominant person in PRW right now in terms of their record.

Razer manages to push Pat off him as both men rise to their feet again, but as they reach their feet, they both collide once more. Instead of locking up once more, Razer starts his approach. Throwing a left hand, Razer catches pat with a quick jab but before he can throw another one, Pat retaliates with a strike of his own. Clubbing Razer with a big forearm strike, the Undisputed Champion knocks Razer back a few steps. Dusting himself down and smirking, Razer raises his hand and motions for Pat to 'bring it'

Smith: "Razer inviting Pat to come and take another shot at him"

Brunswick: "Despite his size, I don't think Pat wants to get drawn into a strike battle with Razer. There's not much between the pair of them physically, but whilst Patrick is a more rounded wrestler, Razer is a rough fighter through and through."

Acknowledging Razer's invitation, Pat comes in at Razer again. As he lunges forwards, Razer brings his left arm up and lets it fly, catching Pat with a knife-edge chop to the chest. As Razer's hand smashes into Slaughter, the small pockets of support for the Enforcer let out a "Wooo!". As the Onslaught man flinches from the impact, Razer winds up and lets another left handed chop fly before following up with a right elbow strike, both hitting the same place as the initial chop. As Pat stumbles backwards, Razer moves in. Taking him by the back of the head with his left hand, he drags Pat towards him as he brings his knee up, looking for the knee strike, but Pat moves into Razer. Grabbing him around the waist, he hoists him up and drops him down with an inverted atomic drop. As tailbone meets knee, Razer stumbles backwards and shakes his head. Trying not to give pat too much time to move in for another attack, Razer goes for the snap kick, but Pat shuffles backwards, just out of reach before closing Razer down, hitting him with a clothesline and dropping him to the canvas.

Razer hits the mat as the fans cheer, but right away the Englishman is pushing himself back up to a vertical base. As he gets back to his feet, Pat comes in again, this time going straight up for the clothesline attempt, but Razer ducks under it and quickly turns to face Slaughter. Catching him on the turn, Razer moves in himself, catching Pat with a clothesline of his own, repaying the favour. As the champion drops down to the canvas, Razer doesn't allow him the luxury of getting back to his feet easily. Staying close, the Enforcer starts to work on Slaughter with a series of quick boots. Kicking at Patrick's exposed ribs, Razer throws in a hard looking Soccer kick which draws a few groans from the crowd, but Pat simply winces. Not getting the reaction he wanted, Razer goes in again for a second soccer kick but Pat throws himself to the side and rolls, narrowly avoiding it. Using the brief window presented to him, Pat quickly pushes up, just in time to block Razer's attack. catching the right arm of Razer as it comes in for a big palm heel thrust styled blow, the big man from Broward County drags the Liverpool native into a big knee strike, doubling him over. Taking advantage of this, Slaughter scoops Razer up and drops him down with a big scoop slam much to the delight of the crowd.

Brunswick: "Both of these guys know what to expect from the other."

Smith: "A hard hitting match, thats for sure. Look at Slaughter, the smile on his face for seemingly winning this first 'bout'..."

Smiling for a moment, Pat steps back from Razer and looks to the ropes before looking back at Razer. Reaching down, he assists Razer to his feet before throwing him into the ropes with an Irish Whip. As Razer nears the ropes, Pat cautiously follows him in, arms out, ready to catch Razer on the rebound. Hitting the ropes, Razer bounces back and heads towards Slaughter who steps out to meet him, but instead of catching him, Razer stops himself just out of arms reach and catches Pat with the snap kick to his left shin. Stunning the big man for a moment, Razer quickly drags Pat into a knee strike, doubling him over and follows up with a clubbing elbow strike to his back. As Pat stumbles from the blow, Razer wastes no time in taking him under his arm and applying a front facelock hold. Dropping back, the One Man Army plants Slaughter head first into the canvas with a quick and simple DDT which draws some boos from the crowd. As both men hit the canvas, Razer is quick to roll out the way and get himself back to his feet. If Slaughter had the opening exchange in the bag, it seems round II was belonging to the aggressive Englishman.

As Razer moved to his feet, Patrick rolled onto his side as he held his head with his hands. Depending on where one was sitting in the venue, they would have seen the bare-teethed grimace on his face. With The Fort Lauderdale Native down on the ground, Razer lifted his right foot before he started stomping away at Patrick’s head. After five stomps, The Enforcer bent down and grabbed Patrick by his head before pulling him up to his feet. With The Broward County Brawler on his feet, The Enforcer reared his right arm back and fired off a forearm into the face of the Undisputed Challenge. Patrick stumbled backward a bit from the blow. That was enough encouragement for the man from Liverpool to keep on attacking. Razer continued to send forearm after forearm into Slaughter’s face, pushing the champion back until Slaughter’s back was against the ropes.

Once that was done, The Enforcer sent one more forearm into Patrick’s face before he grabbed The Fort Lauderdale Native’s right hand with his own. Razer then turned, intent on sending The Rabid Underdog to the other side of the ring with an Irish-whip. However, things changed when Patrick took all of two steps before he himself turned, sending Razer to the other side of the ring instead. As The Enforcer was on his way to the ropes, Patrick moved to the middle of the ring. Once Razer was close enough, he turned and leaned back against the ropes. Using the snapback motion of the rope as an aid, Razer powered off of them as he zeroed in on Patrick.

The Fort Lauderdale Native, having his next move in mind, bent over. Unfortunately he bent over to soon, telegraphing his intentions. This prompted Razer to stop in front of him and bring his right knee up suddenly, smashing it against the face of The Undisputed Champion. The knee strike caused Patrick to stand straight and hold his face. After that, Razer suddenly spun around before downing him with a Discus Clothesline. With Patrick Slaughter down on the ground, the crowd booed in response. For Razer, though, it was just background noise.

Brunswick: Razer is really running with the momentum as he downs Patrick Slaughter with the Discus Clothesline.

Smith: Patrick Slaughter doesn’t have the power advantage in this match. If Patrick’s not careful, Razer can take him apart.

Wasn’t that the truth?

Razer remained on the aggressive as he bent down and grabbed Patrick by the head. Once again, he grabbed Patrick’s right hand with his own before turning, going for another Irish-whip. This time, the destination was the nearest corner. And this time, Patrick didn’t reverse it as The Fort Lauderdale Native was sent on his way. There was only a second of delay before Razer followed him in hot pursuit. As expected, Patrick’s back hit the turnbuckle. However, what wasn’t expected was for him to practically bounce off of it as he charged forward and leveled The Enforcer with a clothesline of his own! As Patrick took two extra steps before dropping down to one knee, Razer’s head and back hit the mat, prompting him to roll over onto his left side and hold the back of his head with his hands as his face twisted into a pained scowl.

Brunswick: Well, Patrick needed something to stop the momentum, and that Clothesline was it.

Smith: And it also gave him time to recover from having his back hit that turnbuckle.

And Patrick was glad for it. As he remained on one knee, The Fort Lauderdale Native placed the back of his right hand against his back as he arched it. It wasn’t anything major, but it was enough for him to scowl slightly.

After that, Patrick Slaughter stood up and faced Raz. He walked up The Enforcer, then around him. He then stood raised his right foot and began stomping away at Razer’s right knee. After three stomps, Razer rolled onto his left side as he held his knee. That proved to be a mistake on his part as Patrick took some steps backward. Once he put enough distance between the two of them, The Rabid Underdog then ran forward before he sent the front of his foot into the small of Razer’s back with…

Brunswick: …the Fort Lauderdale Strike!

The crack that emanated from the impact was enough to make the crowd groan in response. In a stroke of production genius, a camera caught shot of fan arching her back as if she felt kick herself.

Back in the ring, Razer rolled onto his stomach and propped himself up in his elbows as he arched his back in pain. Seeing the opportunity, The Rabid Underdog stepped forward before moving his right foot over his legs. He kneeled down and grabbed hold of The Enforcer’s left ankle. He then tucked the ankle underneath his armpit and leaned backward, applying the Single Leg Boston Crab! As Patrick started to work over Razer’s left knee, the man from Liverpool grunted through bared teeth as he clenched his jaw. The referee, for the sake of duty, moved to Razer’s right side, checking to see if the challenger wanted to tap. To the surprise of no one, referee included, The Enforcer shook his head emphatically. He wasn’t Marcus Levine – he didn’t tap early.

Instead, Razer reached out with his right hand towards the bottom rope. At first he came up just an inch short. Almost as if he was taunting him for that, Patrick leaned back even more as he worked the hold harder. After suppressing another grunt of pain, The Enforcer tried once more to grab the bottom rope. This time, he stretched his arm out just enough to hook his two fingers around it. This prompted the referee to move from Razer to Patrick. The official in stripes yelled out “BREAK!” At first, The Fort Lauderdale Native thought about taking advantage of the five-count. Instead, Patrick stood up and reluctantly released his hold on the challenger. As Patrick turned to face Razer, the referee stood in front of him and ordered The Fort Lauderdale Native to step back.

Patrick furrowed up his eyebrows in slight exasperation, but complied nonetheless. With the official keeping the champion away from him, Razer took his time to get back up to his feet. He grimaced slightly as he shook off his left leg. It wasn’t anything major at that point, but Razer knew that was just the beginning – his left knee had a bull’s eye on it.

Brunswick: And Patrick Slaughter was forced to break the hold after Razer managed to get his hand on the ropes.

Smith: Razer would be mindful to keep that left leg out of Patrick’s reach.

Once the referee was out of the way, Patrick moved in on Razer. In response, Razer fired off a forearm into Patrick’s face. As Patrick stumbled backward, Razer quickly stepped forward and grabbed the champion’s head and pulled it into a clinch. As he pulled Patrick’s head down, he brought his right knee up, cracking it against Patrick’s face. The blow was enough to make the champion drop down to one knee. As the crowd booed, Razer turned and ran for the ropes. Once he reached them, he turned and leaned back against them. With the aid of the ropes snapback motion, Razer powered off of them. As he zeroed in on The Undisputed Champion, he brought his foot up and sent it forward, seemingly intent on taking Patrick’s head off with a running kick. However, Patrick ducked the kick at the last second. He then quickly stood up and turned, just as Razer stopped in his own tracks and turned around. The former Cyanide Champion rushed forward and brought his arm out, looking to go for another Clothesline. However, Patrick ducked Razer’s arm. He then quickly raised up, wrapped his right arm around his shoulders and fell forward, sending Razer’s back and head into the mat with the STO!

Brunswick: And the momentum continues to swing back and forth between these two men as Patrick Slaughter drops Razer on to his back with the STO!

Patrick stood up on his knees and Razer rolled onto his stomach and favored his back with his right hand. He then stood up, already thinking of his next move.

My Watch Is Done
Keeping his eyes locked on Slaughter, Razer assessed his options. He knew Pat was going to keep going after his left leg through the match so he had that to contend with as well as trying to take some sting out of his attacks. Knowing he had the power game still for the time being, the Englishman decided to stick with that approach. Standing his ground, he started to re-adjust his gloves before motioning for Pat to bring it. Not rising to the bait, Slaughter instead kept his distance from Razer. Constantly keeping a watch on his opponent, the champion started to think of a plan himself. Taking Razer's body language into consideration, he knew a strike battle was coming soon and whilst he could hold his own in that particular instance most of the time, someone like Razer was not the ideal man to get too involved with in that specific spot. Glancing to Razer's left leg again, Pat briefly pondered the takedown and going for the leg again, but that would be easy, almost too easy - if he went right in at that, Razer would punish him for it. Instead, Slaughter slowly started to circle round the ring, forcing Razer into doing the same. They were still evenly matched in this contest so far and he wanted to try and make sure anything what went down went in his favour.

Smith: "Slaughter going on the defensive now, Despite ending that previous passage well, I think he is all too aware of Razer and his ability to create something out of a very unfavourable position to him"

Brunswick: "July 2014 folks. Razer was down, almost out but he managed to reverse a big move from Pat. Had Mutsumi not stopped the match when she did, it could have went totally in Razer's favour and Patrick knows that."

Mirroring Slaughter, Razer started to circle him again for a moment, but before they could even make one full lap of the ring, the challenger rushed in. Breaking forwards, Razer charges at Patrick shoulder first, looking for the shoulder block but Pat sidesteps it with ease. As Razer goes past Pat, he doesn't slow down, he just keeps going, headed right for the ropes. Turning to face Razer, Pat quickly follows up. Knowing he can't risk another big knee to the face like earlier, the Broward County big man looks to catch Razer on the rebound early. The fans sensing something big coming start to swell in their support for the Onslaught man, but as he closes the gap on Razer and braces himself for the rebound, he forgets one thing - For a big man, Razer is surprisingly agile.

Stepping towards Razer with arms out, ready to catch him and deliver a big slam of sorts, Pat notices something is up when Razer jumps for the middle rope instead of hitting them. With widening eyes and a sudden realisation, Pat can't get out the way in time and there is a huge gasp from the New Orleans crowd as the One Man Army vaults backwards off the ropes with a backflip, smashing into Pat with a springboard moonsault. As both men crash down to the canvas, the boos for Razer rise, but so do the chants encouraging Pat to get into this match and to make his mark on it once again. Only a small partisan section of the crowd cheer the Enforcer, but whatever noise the crowd is making, it means nothing to Razer right now. With Pat floored and caught completely off guard by the springboard moonsault, Razer has the advantage. Pushing up first, the Englishman reaches down and grabs hold of Slaughter under the arms and begins to drag him up into a seated position. Taking a couple of steps back, he runs in and throws his boot into the middle of Pat's back with a penalty kick.

Brunswick: "Subtle head-nod to Julie Chan from Razer there with that penalty kick!"

Smith: "I think that's just payback for earlier!"

As Razer's boot crashes into the middle of Pat's back, the crowd boos. Stepping to the side of the champion, Razer reaches down and grabs hold of Pat's arm and starts to drag him up. Having been kicked back to his senses, Pat feels Razer's arm on him and reacts. Reaching up, he takes hold of Razer by the wrist as the Enforcer assists him to his feet and pulls. Dragging Razer off balance as he rises up, Slaughter drives his shoulder into the mid-section of the Englishman, stalling him and forcing him to double over. With Razer momentarily halted once again, the Fort Lauderdale native wraps his arms around Razer's waist and hoists him up before throwing him forwards into the canvas back first with a rope shaking spinebuster! As the ropes rattle around the ring, the crowd goes ballistic. The cheering for the champion increases dramatically and enjoying the moment, Pat pulls himself back up to his feet quickly and fist pumps.

Keen to keep with this momentum, Slaughter backs away from Razer and heads to the ropes as the Enforcer nurses his back and pulls himself up onto one knee. Coming back in once again, Pat runs at Razer, but instead of the FLS again, he drops down, smashing both feet into Razer's exposed left leg with a basement dropkick, dropping him back down to the canvas. With Razer back down on the canvas again, holding his left leg, the champion goes back to his preferred method of attack.

Brunswick: "Pat isn't backing down here. He knows Razer is stronger than him and just as quick when he has to be. He's looking to take that speed away"

Smith: "It's a simple enough approach, the problem is though if he continues to keep going for this approach, Razer will find a way to turn it into an advantage. Razer might not be the most orthodox of wrestlers, but he is highly resourceful"

Rolling onto his side, Razer tries to protect his leg but the champion is on him. Bringing his boot up, Pat stomps down onto Razer's side, forcing him to roll over onto his back and to shift his focus momentarily from his leg. Reaching down, Pat grabs hold of the left leg and tries to pull the Brit over again for another single-leg crab, but Razer has other ideas. Grimacing through the pain, the One Man Army jerks his leg back, pulling Pat off balance. Reaching up with both hands, he grabs Pat by the shoulders and brings his right leg up, hooking it around the back of Pat's neck, trying to drag him closer. Realising the danger he is in, having seen Razer use this set up before, pat quickly reacts. Letting go of the Englishman, he manages to free himself from Razer's grasp and backs away, allowing Razer time to pull himself back up to one knee.

Smith: "Razer was looking for the Gogoplata right there! It's not a move he is normally known for, in fact, he's only used it once. It's the first legitimate hold he has used since 2005, but if it stopped Chris Max in his tracks and bought Razer some time to recover and to form a new gameplan, it makes sense to use it in this instance"

Brunswick: "And it's an effective mind-game too. Pat's now going to be second guessing going in for that leg again for some time!"

Pushing up to both feet and wincing slightly as he stands tall once again, Razer takes a moment to catch his breath before shaking his head. With both men making intense eye contact again, Razer advances, this time slightly slower. Seeing his gameplan slowly coming into effect, Pat smirks to himself for a moment before focusing back on the advancing threat. Bringing his arms up, Pat readies his guard, but instead of the expected punch coming, Razer throws out a snap kick with his left leg, catching the Lauderdale man in the shin. Dropping slightly, Pat tries to keep his guard up, but Razer moves in quick. Throwing his right arm forwards for a jab, Pat manages to block it, but the follow up left punch to the midsection catches him off guard. Stumbling back a few steps, Pat tries to come back with a big knife edge chop of his own, but Razer catches it. Throwing Pat's arm aside, the Enforcer throws a chop of his own, this one finding its mark, knocking Pat back a few steps again. With each strike, the boo's grow louder for Razer, but with each increase in volume, the intensity increases from the One Man Army. Exchanging chops with Pat and getting the upper hand, Razer manages to back Pat up into the ropes before going for his usual big palm heel thrust to the chest which once again, the Broward County Brawler blocks. Like before, Pat drags Razer into the Irish whip attempt, but Razer manages to hold his ground, reversing the whip attempt and sending pat into the ropes with a whip of his own. As Pat his the ropes and comes back off, Razer extends his right arm, catching Pat across the chest and plants his left into the middle of his back. Bending at the knees, the big Englishman hoists Pat up with minimal effort and drops them both down to the canvas with a huge side effect!

Smith: "Pat had to feel that one! Razer created the opening for himself by telegraphing that easy to read palm heel thrust and allowing Pat to get a hold of him"

Brunswick: "Something Pat will need to keep in mind. Razer is a defensive fighter despite being quite aggressive. He might strike hard, but he will gladly take a hit or two in order to land something like that!"

Sitting himself up, Razer shakes his head and moves his hair out of his face as Pat lies flat out on the canvas, trying to get some air back into him after he just had it knocked right out of him.

(Cred to Crowe for the Avy)
After some seconds, Raz turned and twisted his body around before he dropped down on top of Patrick for the cover. As he hooked the champion’s outside leg, the referee moved into position make the count on the first pin of the match.

One…

T-No!

Patrick was able to lift his left shoulder up off of the mat. While it was just a one count, that action was able to elicit a mild pop from the crowd. Razer wasn’t the least bit discouraged by it, though. It was still early in the match, and with Patrick’s (in)famous resiliency, he knew that he had to work for it. Instead, he grabbed Patrick by the head and pulled him up to his feet as he stood up. He then pulled him into a front chancery. After grabbing a handful of Patrick’s tights at his waist with his left hand, he lifted The Fort Lauderdale Native up off of the mat and threw him over his head as he dropped him with the rudimentary yet handy Front Suplex. After Patrick’s back hit the mat, The Fort Lauderdale Native sat up and arched his back in pain as he grimaced.

Amid boos from the New Orleans crowd, Razer sat up and twisted around until he was on his knees. He then grabbed Patrick by his shoulders, forced him onto his back, and covered him for another pin attempt.

One…

T-No!

Patrick lifted his feet up off of the mat before he kicked them outward. The motioned caused his upper body to rise up off of the mat briefly, breaking the pin before the count of two. With a huff of his breath, The Enforcer grabbed Patrick by the head once more as he stood up and pulled the Undisputed Champion up on to his feet. He then turned as he wrapped his right arm around Patrick’s head and laced his fingers together, applying a headlock. The Fort Lauderdale Native grunted as he felt his head being squeezed like a coconut in a vice. He raised his right hand and pressed it against Razer’s right elbow as he tried to pull his head out of the hold.

All that did was prompt the challenger to tighten his lock suddenly. This caused Patrick to drop down to one knee as he grunted loudly. After some moments, The Fort Lauderdale Native stood up. With the realization that he couldn’t force his head out of the hold, he sidestepped to his right as he turned. He then brought his right arm around and struck his palm against The Enforcer’s midsection. The man from Liverpool let loose an ‘oof’ from his mouth, but kept his hold on him. Patrick wasn’t deterred, though. He sent palm shots into Razer’s stomach before he felt the English Man’s arm loosen up from around his head. Thinking quickly, Patrick Slaughter wrapped his arms around Razer’s midsection before he lifted the challenger up off of the mat and dropped him on his head and back with a Side Suplex!

Brunswick: And again, the pendulum swings in a different direction as Patrick Slaughter drops Razer with the Side Suplex!

Smith: You know, Razer may be stronger than Patrick Slaughter, but he’s not heavy enough for him not to be dropped by Slaughter.

If Razer forgot that, he was reminded as he rolled onto his stomach and held the back of his head with his arms. With his face to the mat, the fans couldn’t see the pained, bare-teethed grimace he had on his mug. Meanwhile, Patrick sat up and gave the section of crowd in front of him what looked like a Kubrick Stare. In reality, he was scowling in discomfort as he gave his head a little time to recover from the headlock. After letting loose a short breath, Patrick stood up and faced Razer. After walking around him, he stopped at his left side before lifting up his right foot. He then dropped his heel down hard on the back of Razer’s left knee. The Enforcer let loose a pain grunted as he rolled over to his back drew his knee up to his body as he favored it.

After that, Patrick side stepped around Razer until he was at the Englishman’s feet. Once there, he reached down and grabbed The Enforcer by his left ankle. He tried pulling it away, but Razer moved his hands underneath his left knee and laced the together as he pulled back. While doing so did hurt his tender knee, he was trying to prevent Patrick from doing something worse to it. After a few seconds of Tug O’ War, Patrick suddenly brought his right foot over and stomped Razer just underneath his sternum! As the air was pushed out of his lungs, The Enforcer instinctively moved his arms away from his leg and held his stomach.

With the game of Tug O’ War ended, Patrick turned as he pulled the leg out. He then reached down and grabbed Razer’s other ankle. He finally turned once more and dropped down to his back, applying the Figure Four Leg Lock! As The Enforcer growled out in pain, the referee moved to Razer’s side checking to see if he wanted to tap. Despite Patrick cranking the hold for all its worth, the Conquest Champion shook his head emphatically!

Smith: You know… this is smart. Patrick Slaughter is not only trying to neutralize Razer’s speed advantage. He’s also forcing his own advantage over The Enforcer – and that’s the submission game.

Take an advantage and ride it – that’s one of the more common unwritten rules of combat sports. Of course, that thought was in Razer’s head as well. With The Rabid Underdog clamped down on his leg like… well, a Rabid Underdog, The Enforcer tried to reach for the ropes. However, no matter how much he stretched, the ropes were too far away. While they were a foot away in reality, they might as well have been in Shreveport as far as Razer was concerned. So, instead, he decided to use his power advantage as he went for the normal counter for Ric Flair’s most famous finisher – he started to roll over to his left.

At first, Patrick tried to fight against it. But when it became clear that Razer was close to reversing the submission on to him, The Fort Lauderdale Native quickly released the hold before he scooted backward away from The Enforcer. While the champion moved to his feet, Razer rolled back on to his back as he held his left knee.

Brunswick: Wisely, Patrick Slaughter breaks the Figure Four Leg Lock before Razer could turn over onto his stomach, putting the champion in agony instead.

Smith: Sometimes, it’s better to fold them than hold them. And Patrick folded his hand before it was too late.

With control in his hands, Patrick walked up to the Enforcer before he lifted up his right foot and began stomping away at Razer’s left knee. After the fifth stomp, Razer scooted backward until he reached the ropes. He grabbed hold of it with his right hand, prompting the official in stripes to move between The Fort Lauderdale Native and The Enforcer. The crowd booed at the sight of the action, with a lot of them taking it as a sign of cowardice. However, Patrick knew better – it was just a way for him to buy some breathing room. The champion didn’t like it, but as the referee ordered him to back up, he respected it as he did as he was told.

With The Fort Lauderdale Native backed up, the referee turned towards Razer and kneeled down next to him. While he was being checked on by the official, Razer slowly rolled on to his hands and knees. After taking in a breath, he slowly moved to his feet, using the ropes as aids to his ascent. When The Enforcer reached his feet, the referee moved away from him, allowing the match to continue. Wasting no time, The Fort Lauderdale quickly moved him before clocking Razer in the face with a forearm. The Conquest Champion turned from the blow as he leaned forward against the ropes. With Razer in that position, Patrick reached out and grabbed a handful of The Enforcer’s tights with his left hand. He then walked backward, pulling Razer away from the ropes.

Once they were in the middle of the ring, Patrick clubbed Razer in the back with his right forearm. He then bent over as he wrapped his right arm around his waist and tucked his head underneath Razer’s left armpit. The crowd started to cheer in anticipation as The Fort Lauderdale Native was about to attempt a Back Suplex, or even the Let’s Go. Whatever he was going to attempt, it wasn’t going to come into fruition as Razer’s left arm suddenly wrapped itself around Patrick’s head. Razer then brought his right hand over and sent two punches on the top of his dome. Finally, Razer fell forward as he drove the champion’s head into the mat with the Headlock Driver! The crowd groaned collectively at the sight of the impact as Razer rolled on to his back. Meanwhile, Patrick wrapped his arms around the back of his head as he lay on the mat.

Brunswick: And Razer hits Patrick with the Headlock Driver! That put an end to Patrick’s momentum!

Smith: Let’s see if Razer can get some momentum of his own going.

That was the plan. However, as The Enforcer sat up, he had an expression on his face that was a mixture of pain and annoyance. Not so coincidentally, he had one that expression as he tried to move his left leg. Internally, he was cursing his opponent bent and unbent that knee of his to get the blood flowing in that limb.

My Watch Is Done
Razer knew he shouldn't have tried to go for the cover earlier than normal in the match, and with hindsight in full effect, breaking from his usual strategy of only covering when he felt absolutely necessary, this was the consequence of that. He'd let Pat get some more work in on him and it was starting to look clearer just how this match was going to proceed, at least on the part of the Undisputed champion anyway. The bull's eye on his left knee was getting bigger and more noticeable, and this meant that once again, there would be another attempt at it.

Brunswick: "It looks like both men are starting to feel it now. Pat's head is certainly hurting him, and Razer's left knee is clearly being zeroed in on now."

Smith: "This match could turn into a case of who will break first"

Pushing up to his feet, slowly at first, the One Man Army winced as he steadied himself. It was just like last summer. Slaughter was repeating the same method - wear him down and then hit with the big moves. Despite them both having progressed since then, Razer knew that people were creatures of habit, and leg work was the champions particular go to strategy whilst his was just to overwhelm them with hard hitting strikes and moves until an opening presented itself. Knowing that Slaughter was all too aware of this, Razer re-adjusted his gloves once again and approached the rising Slaughter. He had a new plan in mind and hopefully this would level the playing field.

Reaching down, the One Man Army took hold of Slaughter as he got to one knee and instead of dragging him up, placed both hands on the back of his head and dragged the champion's skull towards his rising right knee, cracking him in the forehead with a big knee strike. As the fans watch Pat's head jerk backwards, most of them begin to boo again. Pat lurches backwards, but he throws his arms out behind him for a moment to stop himself from falling. Usually this would be a perfectly natural thing to do, but in the ring, it is possibly the worst. The instinctive reaction leaves the champion completely wide open and Razer wastes no time in exploiting that. Bringing his right leg up, he pivots on his left leg to turn side on and smashes his boot into the chest of Pat with a side-thrust kick which finishes the job the knee strike started and sends the big man down to the canvas.

Brunswick: "Razer with that thrust kick to the chest of Slaughter!"

Smith: "Despite him being known for a rough brawling type, Razer is an accomplished martial artist Josh. Every now and then, he can actually strike with some precision and style!"

As Pat tumbles down to the canvas, Razer presses the advantage. Stepping in, following Pat's drop to the canvas, he jumps up and extends his legs, crashing down across the champion's chest with a big leg drop. As his legs smash into the chest and neck of Pat, Razer winces slightly, hitting his knee a little harder than he had planned to, but with the jolt of pain from the impact forcing Pat to roll over onto his side as Razer swings his legs back off him makes the strain on his knee all the more worth it. Normally, one would go for the cover now, but given the fans starting to chant in a rhythmic fashion for the Holy Grail from Lauderdale, swelling in support behind him and perhaps proving the sometimes bizarre logic of Kenny Shaw right in some ways, the people who want to be champion can't be champion because of Pat and his power over the fans, Razer opts against it. Pushing himself back up to one knee again, Razer takes his time getting back to both feet before creating some space for himself. Slowly crossing the ring, he heads towards one of the turnbuckles and leans against it, keeping his gaze firmly on the champion and taking a moment to compose himself better.

Brunswick: "Razer spurning the chance to go for a pin there"

Smith: "He's just toying with Pat. By not going for the cover, he's sending him a message"

Brunswick: "And what might that message be?"

Smith: "This match ends when he decides"

Drumming his fingers against the top rope, Razer patiently waits for Pat to get himself onto his hands and knees. Shaking his head, the Undisputed champion draws a deep breath as he rocks back onto his knees. Seeing Pat starting to make progress, the Enforcer makes his move. Rushing out the corner as Pat gets to one knee, Razer brings his arm up for the clothesline which prompts Pat who spots the oncoming danger to throw himself down to the canvas again, forcing Razer to jump over him. As Razer heads behind, Slaughter drags himself up quicker this time but as he turns, expecting the rebound, the fans start to jeer. Razer didn't go for the rope rebound, instead he simply stalled himself just out of striking distance. As Slaughter turns to face him, Razer throws his right leg out towards Pat prompting Pat to shuffle back again, narrowly escaping being caught in the jaw by the Razer Kick.

The fans let out a huge cheer as the damaging signature kick of Razer narrowly misses its target and the noise level rises as Pat capitalises on the opening, rushing in at Razer and dropping him with a clothesline. As Razer hits the canvas, he stays on his side as Pat looks to try and keep him down. Reaching down, he goes once again for the left leg. Taking hold of Razer by his calf and his ankle, Pat stays on his feet this time, pulling Razer's leg up, he looks to try and snare the Enforcer in an ankle lock but before he can even get the hold in, Razer rolls himself over, brings his right leg up and drives his boot into the midsection of Pat, doubling him over with the kick. With Slaughter momentarily stunned, Razer rolls to the side, trapping Pat's legs between his in a scissor styled hold and twists, bringing the big man down to the canvas. With Slaughter down on the same level as himself, Razer presses his attack. Releasing the leg, the Englishman pulls himself away from Pat before returning the favour. Dragging himself up, Razer brings his boot up and stomps down hard on the back of Slaughter's right thigh, forcing a grimace from the big man. Taking hold of the leg, Razer steps over and hoists it up as if he is going for a Single leg Boston Crab but Pat is quick to drag his leg back as he crawls away from Razer and rolls onto his back. Knowing that the champion would quickly escape, Razer smirks as he turns round and steps forwards, closing the distance and simultaneously throwing his right boot out, catching Pat in the right thigh again with a soccer kick on the turn.

Smith: "It's not just Slaughter who can do 'leg work' folks"

Brunswick: "Except this isn't leg work Doug. This is just Razer hitting Slaughter wherever he can"

Pat clutches at his thigh as Razer pulls his boot back and stands there glaring down at him. Taunting the champion, he raises both fists into the air and then extends his index fingers and thumbs, 'throwing the L's ' for the fans which goes down about as well as you could expect really. With all sides of the crowd baying for his blood, the One Man Army simply lowers his hands and reaches down again. Grabbing Pat by the head, he throws a forearm into his head to keep him under control before he begins to drag him up to his feet. As Razer pulls Pat up to both feet, he tries to hook him up for a suplex, but Slaughter breaks free of the attempt, shoving Razer in the chest with both hands, sending him stumbling back. Standing tall, Slaughter glares at Razer who walks back towards him with his fingers twitching. Both men stand there, arms length apart and just glare at each other as the crowd starts to rally behind Pat. As the chants of "Slaugh-ter! Slaugh-ter!" break out, Razer breaks the staring contest with a quick left jab to the chest of Slaughter, knocking Pat back slightly. Replying, Pat hits back with a big knife edge chop and the "Woo!" of the crowd almost raises the roof. Flinching a little from the move, Razer returns fire, this time hammering Pat with a huge right hook which hits him in the shoulder before following it up with a low left strike to the abdomen. As Razer winds up for the follow up punch, Pat throws an elbow, catching Razer in the jaw and disrupting him.

Brunswick: "Razer caught pat off guard, playing some of his game, now Pat is playing Razer's game"

Smith: "Folks, this could be the biggest strike battle we see in PRW until Alex LeBlanc gets into the ring with Razer!"

Both men go at it. Throwing caution to the wind, they exchange fists and chops, neither one seeming to hold any advantage. For every gained by one, the other pegs them back almost instantly. The crowd can't quite decide what it wants to do as the speed of the exchange picks up. At first, the initial booing for a strike from Razer is followed by a cheer for the reply from Pat, but as the blows quicken, the booing and cheering just becomes one great big noise, that is until Razer breaks the strike battle, nailing Pat square in the chest with the huge palm heel thrust. Successful this time, Razer forces Pat to stagger backwards from the impact of the blow but undeterred despite being slightly stunned by the blow, Pat comes right back in. Unfortunately for him, Razer had anticipated this and reacts accordingly.

Throwing his head forwards, Razer nails Pat with the staple go-to move of both Bella and Ata - the headbutt! As Pat lifts his hands to his face for a moment, wincing from the sharp pain of the impact, Razer steps right into Pat. Hooking him up with his right arm and grabbing his tights with his left, Razer hoists Pat up in the air, twists round and slams him down with a huge looking Uranage!

Brunswick: "Razer just got Pat with the 'Bella Quinn' combo right there!"

Smith: "Its dangerous enough when Bella does it, but with the strength and power of Razer behind it, jeez... That HAD to hurt"

With Pat down on the canvas, he holds his head with one hand and with his other, he nurses his back as he arches up in pain. Kneeling beside him, Razer shakes his head and rolls onto his side, keeping his eye on Pat all the while as he tries to get his composure again.

(Cred to Crowe for the Avy)
Well, that was unexpected. Perhaps Patrick should not have been too surprised, being a man who’d borrow a move out of his teammates’ arsenals every now and again himself. Still, as he rolled onto his side and arched his back in pain, he growled out through clenched teeth. During this, Razer walked around The Fort Lauderdale. Though it took a bit of a keen eye to see it, there was something slightly off about The Enforcer’s gait. No doubt the attacks on his left leg were, at the very least, starting to take its toll on the man from Liverpool. However, he pushed that worry into the back of his mind since the match was under his control for the time being – and he wanted to keep it that way.

Once he was at Patrick’s head, he brought his right foot up and began stomping away at the head of Patrick Slaughter. After the fourth stomp, he reached down and grabbed The Fort Lauderdale Native’s head. After pulling him up to his feet, he swung his head to the right before he turned to his right and dropped down on to his back, sending Patrick’s head and neck into the mat with the Swinging Neckbreaker. After downing The Fort Lauderdale Native, he stood up as fast as he could, leaving the champion to roll onto his side and hold his head with his arms. Wanting to keep the control of the match in his hands, The Enforcer reached down and grabbed Patrick by the head before, once again, pulling him up to his feet.

Once he had The Fort Lauderdale Native up on his feet, Razer sent two forearms into the champion’s face. He then grabbed hold of Patrick’s right hand before he turned, sending The Fort Lauderdale to the ropes with an Irish-whip. As soon as he was close enough to the ropes, Patrick turned and leaned back against the ropes before rebounding off of them, heading back to a waiting Razer. The Conquest Champion waited patiently before he bent over and lifted him up on his shoulders with the Fireman’s Carry.

However, as his shoulders carried the weight of his opponent, Razer felt a sudden pain in his left knee. With a rather audible growl, Razer’s hold on Patrick Slaughter loosened just enough for the latter to move off of his shoulders and land on his feet behind him. Wanting to take advantage of the small window of opportunity he had, The Rabid Underdog wrapped his arms around Razer, applying a rear waist lock. He then lifted the Englishman up off of the mat and threw him over his head before he dropped him on his back, shoulders and head with the German Suplex.

Brunswick: And Patrick Slaughter just hit Razer with the German Suplex!

Smith: And it doesn’t stop there!

No, that wasn’t the end of it. As the crowd cheered him on, The Fort Lauderdale Native kept his hold on Razer as he took a moment to let the throbbing in his head subside. After grimacing, he turned his body and stood up, pulling The Enforcer up with him. He then lifted him up once more before he put the Englishman back on his back, head, and shoulders. Much to the crowd’s excitement, Patrick turned his body around once more as he pulled Razer up to his feet again. Patrick was intent on completing the hat trick. And after he lifted Razer up in the air for the third straight down, he did so. Once Razer hit the mat for the third time, the crowd started to go ballistic.

Brunswick: Patrick just hit Razer with three German Suplexes in the row!

Smith: Man, Razer must be – wait, what is Patrick doing?!

It seemed as if The Fort Lauderdale Native wasn’t done. With the waist lock still applied on Razer, Patrick turned his body and pulled Razer up to his feet yet again. The crowd started to murmur in anticipation as The Fort Lauderdale readjusted his hold on The Englishman. He kept his right arm wrapped around The Enforcer’s waist as he tucked his head underneath Razer’s left armpit and placed his free hand against the back of Razer’s left knee. Once that was done, he lifted Razer up off of the mat for the fourth time in mere moments. At first, it seemed as if Razer was about to flip out of what looked like a Back Suplex attempt. However, Patrick quickly turned around, caught him, and slammed him down to the ground with the Let’s Go! Right after Razer’s back hit the mat, Patrick rolled backward until he was on his back. He then propped his upper body up on his hands as he stared at Razer with a glare.

Brunswick: And Patrick finished the Sunshine State Combo with the Let’s Go!

Smith: One of the main things that Patrick is known for his chaining together throws, and that’s no different here. And all of them targeted his back. No doubt its part of a set up!

It was indeed. While a lot of people focused on the leg work, it is often forgotten that Patrick would also attack his opponents back as part of a lead up to his usual finisher.

As Razer remained on his back, The Fort Lauderdale Native stood up and closed the distance between them. Once he was close enough, he reached down and grabbed Razer by his left ankle before he raised his leg off of the mat. He then wrapped his right left around The Enforcer’s left leg before he rolled forward, forcing Razer to roll until his back hit the mat again. Finally, Patrick sat up, grabbed Razer’s left foot, and twisted it to the right, applying the Heel Hook! Razer bellowed out loud as he felt both his ankle and his knee being twisted way past their comfort zone!

Brunswick: And The Fort Lauderdale Native goes right back after the leg of Razer with the Heel Hook!

Smith: This hold is actually one of the more devastating holds in his arsenal, and for good reason. The way Patrick is twisting Razer’s foot is actually putting a lot of stress on both his ankle and his knee at the same time.

As Razer bellowed out, the referee moved to Razer’s side and checked to see if Razer wanted to tap out. During this, the crowd cheered loudly as they waited to see if Razer would, indeed, submit to The Fort Lauderdale Native. Despite the pain his leg was in, The Enforcer shook his head emphatically. Almost as if the sight of him shaking his head egged him on, he twisted Razer’s ankle farther to the right, causing another bellow to emanate from Razer’s vocal cords. However, there was one thing in Razer’s favor – the earlier roll brought him close enough to the ropes so he could grab the bottom one.

So, he lay on his back and stretched his right arm out until he was able to grab hold of the bottom rope. As soon as The Enforcer clutched it, the referee shuffled from Razer to Patrick and yelled out ‘BREAK!’ Patrick didn’t break the hold at first. It seemed as if he was about to milk the five count for all its worth. However, before the referee could begin the count, The Fort Lauderdale Native reluctantly broke the hold before he scooted backward. As the champion stood up, Razer clenched his eyes shut as he held his left knee. As much as people wanted to joke about Patrick’s leg work, it was no laughing matter when one was on the receiving end of it.

Brunswick: Man, Razer may have been saved the by the bottom rope.

Smith: Define saved, Josh. Yeah, he may have gotten the rope break, but that move did a lot of damage.

No doubt that it did. Perhaps Razer’s speed advantage was neutralized. That was the thought that was going through Patrick’s mind as he walked around the man from Liverpool. Once at his head, he reached down and grabbed the Brit by the head before pulling him up to his feet. However, as soon as he was pulled up to his feet, Razer fired off a palm strike across the jaw of The Fort Lauderdale Native. Caught by surprise from the blow, Patrick stumbled backward as he held his jaw with his right hand. With Patrick backed up, Razer hobbled forward. With The Enforcer’s speed hindered, The Fort Lauderdale Native had time to try and fire off a forearm with his right hand. However, while Razer’s walking and running speed might be hindered, his hand speed was still up to par. The Enforcer brought his left arm up and blocked the would-be blow. He then responded by firing off a forearm of his own, catching Patrick in the right side of his face.

Pressing forward, Razer sent a combination lefts and rights in to Patrick’s face. Each fist backed The Rabid Underdog up until his back was against the turnbuckle. With The Fort Lauderdale Native on the turnbuckle, Razer took a few steps backward. He took a breath to steel his nerves. With that done, Razer rushed forward before he brought his right foot up and sent it into Patrick’s face with the Running Big Boot! As the crowd groaned at the sight of the impact, the champion’s head went all the way back before he slumped down to the mat on his butt. Razer, for his part, stumbled backward before he fell on his back. He arched his back from the fall before he sat up, taking time to favor his left leg with his hands.

Brunswick: Just when it seemed like Patrick was in firm control, Razer fights himself out a hole and levels Patrick with the Running Big Boot.

Smith: Funny thing about leg submissions – they have no effect on one’s hand speed. This, Razer is definitely not out of the woods.

The Enforcer was definitely not out of the woods. Sure, he had The Fort Lauderdale Native down. However, with the state that his leg was in, he couldn’t quite take the time exploit that fact. Internally, he rained down non-kosher words down upon The Fort Lauderdale Native as he slowly stood up. All the while, Patrick slowly began his ascent to a vertical base.

My Watch Is Done
With both men rising yet again, the crowd despite being for the majority, firmly behind Pat in this bout were actually starting to wonder just how long this match could be going on for. The effects could be seen on both men - Razer being slower in getting around the ring, and Pat being a little more cautious in getting too close to Razer. Almost as if the match had come full circle, the two men stood there across the ring from each other and faced off again. Carefully watching the other for any tell-tale signs, Razer stood tall, making sure he kept Pat in the corner, giving him only one way out into space - through him.

Brunswick: "Despite seeming the worse off out of the two, Razer is not giving anything up to Slaughter"

Smith: "What do you expect? It's a God-Damn Undisputed title match! Of course Razer is going to give it everything he has in order to try and come out of this one on top"

Realising that he will have to fight in order to get some time to recover or to finally gain a clear cut advantage, Pat brings his arms up and readies himself. Lunging forwards, he goes for the Enforcer, trying to lock horns with him, but the Englishman has other plans. Stepping forwards, he brings his left arm up to block Pat's right arm, twisting his hand round and grabbing his right forearm with his wrist. With his right hand, he grabs hold of Pat's signature yellow and black top and takes tight hold. Planting his right boot against Pat's inner thigh, he shoves Pat forwards before dragging him back towards him and dropping backwards. Using his right leg as a guide, Razer throws Pat over him as he falls with a British Jiu-jitsu Rolling Ankle styled throw, catching Slaughter off guard and sending him down hard on his right shoulder as he rolls to recover himself. As Pat tumbles across the canvas and brings himself up to one knee, he holds his shoulder for a moment whilst the One Man Army rolls himself over onto his hands and knees, and begins to rise again. This time trying to ignore the pain in his left leg.

Now out of the corner, Slaughter at least has some space to work in. With both men getting to their feet once again, the challenger wastes no time in closing down the champion. Trying to grapple with Pat, Razer lunges at his shoulders but Slaughter stops him in his tracks with a snap kick to the left knee. Stunning Razer, Pat quickly slips in close to him. Hoisting him up onto his shoulders, he drops back, slamming the Englishman back first into the canvas with a big Samoan Drop. As Razer arches from the impact, Pat decides to try his look and goes in for the cover.

ONE....

TWO...

RAZER GETS THE SHOULDER UP!!!

Razer's arm shoots up in the air round the two and a half mark, his hand balled into a fist as it rises drawing the ire of the crowd.

Smith: "It's gonna take more than that to keep Razer down Pat, and you know it!"

Shaking his head, Pat realises that this was to be expected as he sits himself up. Razer now on his side lowers his arm and shakes his head as he takes a deep breath. His back is starting to hurt a little more now and his left leg is reminding him about one of the ways Pat will try to win this match but he knows that despite hitting Pat hard, he just needs to make that one shot which counts. If he can land that, the whole match will turn on its head. Glancing across the mat at Pat, Razer watches the big man trying to get some time to compose himself. Pat rubs the back of his neck before stretching it a little, shaking his head from side to side. Finally showing his opponent a crack in his armour, Pat doesn't catch the smirk on Razer's face as he slowly begins to rise to his feet.

Pushing himself back upright, Razer looks at Pat who is back up on his feet and starts to back off slightly, as if he is trying to lure Slaughter towards him. Not taking the bait at first, Pat stands firm, keeping his eye on Razer's movement, but when the One Man Army begins to circle him, he has to move. With the circling standoff revisited once again, Razer starts the fake lunges, trying to test Pat's patience and reaction time. Not biting at first, Pat simply keeps his cool as Razer tries to get under his skin, but after the third lunge, he takes the bait, only in a way which no one expected. Throwing himself forwards, Pat crashes into Razer with a shoulder block, toppling the big Englishman. Hitting the canvas, rolling and getting back to his feet, Razer looks for Pat who comes in from the side, hitting him with a forearm strike, catching him off guard. Staggering backwards and turning to face the Floridian, Razer brings his arms up but he can do nothing to block this next move.

Brunswick: "TRI-RAIL!"

Pat charges in like a rhino, smashing his shoulder into Razer and tackling him to the canvas with a huge Gore. The crowd loses their shit, rising out of their seats and shouting at the top of their voices as Razer rolls onto his side, clutching at his stomach with one hand and trying to get some air back into himself whilst holding his head with the other hand. Pulling himself up quickly, buoyed on by the crowd, Slaughter lets out a loud "Woo!" and throws the L's up in the air to the delight of the crowd. He can feel it and so can they. The advantage is firmly with him now and the electrifying atmosphere is driving him on. Lowering the L's, he reaches down and begins to drag Razer up to his feet. Clubbing him across the lower back to keep him under control, Pat keeps Razer doubled over and drags him into the powerbomb set up position. With arms on Razer's waist, he bends at the knees and tries to lift Razer up, but Razer refuses to budge. Despite being on the back foot and hurting like hell, the Enforcer blocks the powerbomb attempt as he wraps his hands round Pat's waist and drops to his knees. Pushing Razer off him, he reaches down, grabbing the Englishman by the back of the head and pulls him up. Taking a page out of Ata's book, Pat returns the headbutt to Razer from before, only this time with much more force behind it and dropping Razer down to the canvas again.

Holding his forehead, Razer winces as Pat reaches down for him. As he feels the fingertips of the big man brush against his lower left leg, Razer draws his legs in towards himself, daring Pat to risk the counter kick if he tries to get hold of them again. Knowing victory however might be close, Pat goes in. Grabbing hold of Razer's legs, he drags them back, but as he does, Razer reacts. Moving his arms and looking up at Pat, the smirk on the Englishman's face and the slight trickle of red dripping from the corner of his mouth makes the champion realise just what he has got into. Caught like a rabbit in headlights, Slaughter is totally off guard as Razer throws his head forwards and Pat brings his arms up to shield his face.

Smith: "And there's the opening! Pat got greedy. He should have bided his time, but instead..."

Brunswick: "Hold up a minute Doug... Razer didn't use the mist! Look!"

Pat shields his face but he can only feel his sweat on him, no other stinging substance. Peering from his guard, he can hear the booing of the crowd for Razer but as he looks down, Razer isn't on the floor in front of him. Lowering his guard and looking up, Pat realises exactly what just happened and is powerless to stop the boot of Razer catching him flush in the neck as Razer nails him with the Razer kick!

As Pat drops down to the canvas, Razer tilts his head to the side and spits down on the canvas. Instead of the mist coming out, it's just blood from where Pat has caught him with those forearm shots. Having fooled the crowd and Pat, the Englishman steps away from Pat and rests himself against the ropes. Stretching his left leg out, he winces as he puts it down on the canvas but with the adrenaline rush starting to kick in, the pain isn't as bad as it was earlier on.

Smith: "And people say Razer is all fight and no thinking. He caught Pat off guard good there. Faking using the mist to lower his guard and then nailing him with the Razer Kick!"

Seeing Pat still down on the canvas, Razer closes in. Dropping to his knees, he goes to make the cover.

ONE....

TWO..

KICKOUT BY SLAUGHTER!!!

The roar from the crowd is unreal as Pat manages to push Razer off him. Lying on his side, holding his neck, Pat shakes his head as Razer simply shakes his head.

Brunswick: "Razer thought he had it there!"

Smith: "It was close, but I think Razer knows he can't win the match like that. Pat's took worse over the years, to put Pat away, it's gotta be big and we know Razer can bring big, it just begs the question..."

Brunswick: "Does Razer have enough left in the tank to actually pull off this big move? Most of his big moves require lifting, and that left leg doesn't look too good for him"

Pushing himself back up, Razer reaches down for Pat once more. Dragging him up to his feet, he takes hold of him by the shoulder and tries to pull him down to a more manageable posture, but the champion isn't going to allow it. Digging in, Slaughter nails Razer in the side of the ribs with a sly punch which causes the Englishman to release his hold. Grabbing hold now, Pat hooks Razer up and lifts him up in the air, holding him vertical for a moment before allowing gravity to do the rest as he steps forwards, allowing himself to fall backwards and driving both of them into the canvas with a big vertical suplex. As the crowd comes to life yet again, Pat keeps hold of Razer. Rolling them both over and slowly but steadily bringing him up, using a knee strike to keep him under control, Pat keeps Razer hooked up and goes for a second vertical suplex. This time, he goes for a snap variant, but Razer blocks him. Throwing his weight behind him and digging in, Razer holds his ground as much as he can before Pat finally tires from the resistance. Showing Razer away, Pat quickly turns 180 and jumps up, arching backwards and extending his leg, catching Razer in the face with the big bicycle kick!

Brunswick: "Headlining the Sun-Sentinel! Pat's gonna finish this, I'm sure of it!"

Razer staggers backwards into the ropes holding his face as Pat pulls himself up. With a chant of "Slaugh-ter! Slaugh-ter!" growing in volume behind him, the Onslaught main man takes one last deep breath before advancing on Razer.

Seeing Pat coming for him again, Razer drags himself towards the turnbuckle, boxing himself in. Keeping tight hold of the top rope, he tries to fend Pat off with one arm, but the Broward County Brawler has none of it. Laying into him with a series of strikes, wearing Razer down again, Pat throws lefts and rights into Razer's mid-section before stepping back and coming in with another big corner clothesline. As Razer slumps back into the post for a moment before stumbling out, Pat has his arms ready to catch him. Scooping him up, he drops the Enforcer with a simple scoop slam before going for the leg once again. As he drags Razer up by his left leg, the fans know what is coming next.

Brunswick: "It's the BSO lockdown! Pat's gonna finish it!"

Lifting Razer up, he tries to hook the leg up for the first stage of the lock, but he can't quite do it. Despite having held Razer off and worn him down enough, Slaughter just can't seem to break Razer. Hanging upside down, Razer manages to kick his right leg out enough to get it onto the top rope. As his boot hooks over the rope, the official comes in and tells Pat to cut it out. Slaughter looks and tries to drag Razer off the rope but as the Official starts to count, he lets go of Razer, forcing him to drop to the floor.

Reaching down, Pat once again tries to pull Razer up, but this time, the Englishman is prepared for it. As Pat grabs hold of Razer's leg, the Englishman twists himself round and throws his boot out, hitting Pat in the forearm with his other boot. Letting go and backing off, Pat allows Razer to begin pulling himself up, but as he gets to one knee, he goes in yet again. Grabbing Razer by the head, Pat instead opts to try the brute force way of finishing the match, but as he hauls Razer to his feet to begin the steps needed to finish this off, Razer drives his right knee into Pat's midsection before throwing him towards the turnbuckle. Knowing that this might be the best chance he has to finish this match off, the Enforcer tries to beat Pat into the corner, but the big man kicks out, hitting Razer in the mid-section with a snap kick. As Razer stumbles backwards, Pat steps out of the corner, and tries to get Razer into it, but as he takes hold of Razer's wrist, Razer manages to reverse him into the ropes with an Irish Whip. With no time to turn round and face Razer, Slaughter is helpless as he comes off backwards at Razer who catches him in the back with an elbow to the base of the spine. As Pat lurches forwards, Razer grabs him by the waist and his wrist. Taking a deep breath, he stands firm and closes his eyes.

Smith: "Razer's managed to turn this round, you think he can pull it off?"

Brunswick: "We've seen stranger things happen Doug"

All eyes are on Razer as he begins to lift Pat from the pump-handle lift position. As he gets Slaughter up, he tries to steady himself but stumbles backwards slightly as he lifts Slaughter up to the bomb possition. Taking one last deep breath and hoping the adrenaline rush lasts just long enough to help him black out the pain in his left knee, Razer finally balances himself. In one quick motion, Razer lifts the 6'5, 250lb mass of the champion up above his head fully for a second before he drops him down hard onto his shoulders with a huge sit out powerbomb which has everyone gasping. Falling backwards from the move, Razer holds his knee for a moment as the fans are stunned into silence.

Smith: "Razer just dug in deep there and took Pat for the Last Walk In The Light!"

Knowing it's now or never, Razer pushes up for what he hopes is the last time, and throws one arm across Pat.
