Kenny recoils from the body of Motoko in horror as her shoulder pops off the canvas. Bewildered doesn't even begin to fully encompass how Shaw is feeling in that moment. He sits back for a few seconds before the frustration begins to consume him and he turns back to his corner where his partner is waiting for him. There was every chance that this piece of shit who thought herself good enough to go up against the Siege had used what little energy she had left to survive for a few more breaths but there was no harm in letting the predator loose one more time to eradicate any semblance of hope this make shift team had left. Shaw got himself to his feet and tagged in Donovan knowing his moment of glory was riding on the back of the work the Triple Crown winner was about to do. Surprisingly the first move KD makes is to pin Motoko again, dropping to his knees and jamming an elbow against the jaw of this young Japanese warrior. Lucas Millar is prepared and makes the count.
...One ...Two ...Thr..no!
There was always a chance with the pressure of Donovan's superior strength that he could hold their opponent down for that extra slither of a second but Sakuraba isn't done yet and manages to kick out for a second time. It is no great surprise and the founding father of the Siege doesn't hesitate in moving from the pin to dragging his victim to her feet with the added assistance of her hair interlaced between his fingers. The Offered Hand has found herself in dire circumstances and with El Boomo still wrapped up in one of the guard rails, and very likely concussed, her chances of getting anything out of this match have collapsed from underneath her. This wasn't about winning anymore; it was about survival. It also appears that Tsukishima Shadow has registered just how desperate this situation had become and she leaves the commentary table to attend to El Boomo as Donovan pushes Motoko into the corner of the ring. Jenna Jett attempts to threaten Shadow into leaving Boomo be but she doesn't flinch in the face of Jett's threats and the female third of the Siege backs off a step much to the amusement of the fans nearby. The rest of the arena's attention is locked on the action in the ring where No Quarter has started laying into the body of Sakuraba with punches, slaps and kicks more suited to breaking down a brick wall than to laying waste to a fellow human being. The Bostonian then scampers back a few steps before charging in at his opponent but it appears by allowing her that one moment of respite Kevin Donovan has made a mistake because as he wades into the corner he finds The Offered Hand has offered his face the palm of her hand with no remorse. Donovan staggers back as Motoko quickly turns to face the corner and hops up to the second rope before throwing herself backwards. Her body arcs through the air and she nails the form of the Moonsault from the second rope but incredibly Donovan catches her on his shoulder. The fans groan knowing that moonsault had taken everything out of the debuting Joshi competitor.
Josh Brunswick, "Damnit, I thought she had Donovan for a moment."
Doug Smith, "Look at him just parade her around the ring on his shoulder like a piece of meat."
Parade is the right word to use. Donovan has held onto Motoko for a few seconds longer than strictly necessary and has now back towards his own corner where Kenny Shaw slaps KD on the back to officially make his way back into the match. He then begins to scale the ropes as Donovan strolls towards the center of the ring with their opponent still on his shoulders and stops at an appropriate distance for Shaw to throw himself to from the top rope. Kenny takes his time to mock the fans around him and receives a rather nasty response from them but without doubt he has some semblance of a fan base out there as a few cheers are sprinkled across the swell of anger. The IED is about ready to explode and he throws himself from the highest point of the squared circle with reckless abandon; then he crashes and burns. It appears once more the two men have underestimated their prey and Motoko slips off the shoulder of The Virus as Shaw careens through the air above the ring and a little shove sends KD stumbling into the landing zone. Kenny attempts to adjust mid flight but there is no hope and the two men collapse to the canvas in a wreckage of limbs, bumps and bruises. However many fans The Siege may be able to lay claim to it is not enough to drown out the deafening roar of approval that meets their failure as Sakuraba collapses towards her own corner. She sat and watched Donovan roll under the bottom rope but even then she knew with Boomo out of the contest that it was only a matter of a very short amount of time until she succumbed to the dual efforts of her two opponents. She was staring defeat in the face but she was damn sure going to spit in its eye and take those two pitiful gaijin down with her if she could. Then a hand slaps against her shoulder and the accompanying sound of Lucas Millar signalling an official tag sounds out across the arena. Motoko watches on in stunned silence as Boomo staggers past her into the ring. He still seems a little bit off balance but who wouldn't be after having the back of their head driven into the guard rails? Regardless, he is there and the hope of thousands found the faintest traces of a heartbeat.
Josh Brunswick, "I don't know how but Shadow has managed to get Boomo back into this match, Doug! They still have a chance!"
Doug Smith, "The kid might be in the ring but I'm not sure the lights are all turned on. This could end up very badly for him."
Or he could become a hero; a real life God-damned superhero. That was the only thought Boomo grasped onto between the throbbing agony that threatened to submerge him in an ocean of suffering and despair. He could see the blurred figure of Kenny Shaw struggling to his feet in the corner and the young Brit flicked a switch that if it was real would have read 'auto-pilot' beneath and he charged forward. A guttural roar of battle coursed through his parted lips as he threw himself into the air and drove his body down into Shaw's just as the high-flying star got to his feet. Shaw found himself battered between the turnbuckles and all two hundred and thirty five pounds of Boomo's body as a result of the Stinger Splash and quickly fell back down onto his backside as a result. His lungs heaved with the desperate quest to breathe as Boomo backed up and prepared to bring this match to an end. The luchadore (from England!) screamed 'BOOM' at the top of his lungs not once but three times and each time he did he received the most heart warming echo of 'oooooooooooooooo' in return. Kenny Shaw's head lulled against the second rope where he sat in the corner and it appeared that Boomo had every intention of kicking him right in the face but as he charged the ring Jenna Jett hopped up onto the apron and before Lucas Millar could interject Boomo pulled up just short of his soon to be victim and pointed a finger at Jett as if to warn her not to get involved. As did Lucas Millar and everybody else in the arena. And then Kenny Shaw punched El Boomo right in the dick. Now, if you've ever been punched in the dick then you know full well that it is not a fun experience. It hurts; a lot. And Boomo might want to be a superhero but the fact remains he is just a kid from Reading that is following his dream and his crotch region is no less susceptible to crotch punches than anybody else. So he staggers away and it appears Lucas Millar was too distracted by Jenna Jett to see what had happened and the fans hate it but there is absolutely nothing anybody can do. Except for Kenny Shaw; he can capitalise and capitalise he does. He hops through the ropes and faces back into the ring then pulls himself into the air, plants his feet on the top rope and springboards across the ring. Once more the IED is air-bound and he surges down towards the personage of El Boomo ... who only goes and bloody catches him! Oh, Boomo staggers back a step and nearly loses it all but the fact remains that Boomo is now stood in the center of the ring with Kenny Shaw in a bear hug that nobody had seen coming.
Josh Brunswick, "LOOK AT MOTOKO!! LOOK AT HER CLIMBING!"
Brunswick appears to be absolutely losing his cool but it justified in every sense because Motoko Sakuraba has climbed to the top rope at the encouragement of Tsukishima Shadow who is cheering her on from ringside now that she had left the commentary booth to help Boomo. The two debuting stars suddenly find themselves in the best position they have been in all match and it seems Boomo isn't even aware of what is happening with his partner on the ropes behind him. Instead he just gets on with his own attack and throws Shaw towards the canvas as Motoko launches herself off the top rope behind him. The fans hold their breath as Boomo drives Kenny into the mat with a power laced Sit Out Spinebuster and then their breath explodes outwards as Sakuraba drives both her knees into Shaw's face having jumped over the head of the oblivious Boomo to connect with a Double Knee Stomp from the top rope. The Tag Team champions head cracks into the ring with a sickening thud as Boomo places a hand on the man's chest and hooks his legs across the shoulders of Shaw to indicate a pin attempt as Motoko rolls through her attack and comes to her feet in search of any threat that still lingers. Lucas Millar drops to his knees and it appears this patchwork tag team might yet be able to delivery one of the biggest upsets in PRW history even if it was more by accident than design.
...ONE ...TWO ... Can it be?

The moment Boomo covers Shaw, Millar is right there to slap his hand into the mat.
[ONE!]
[TWO!]
[THRE-NO!]
To the shock and awe of all, Kenny Shaw manages to throw a shoulder up off the mat at the last possible moment! Boomo looks at Lucas in shock, but Millar is adamant. The count is two. This match continues!

Even with the double-leg nelson and a woman jumping on his face Shaw got the shoulder up. Reality kind of sets in there, even for a man as ridiculous as Boomo.
The Siege is the real deal.
The bravado and braggadocio of the trio wasn't an heir, it was a fact. Kevin Donovan is accomplished, talented, and as vicious as they come. Kenny Shaw, multiple champion, tenacious and clever. Jenna Jett hangs out on the outside of the ring. These undersized loudmouths were the tag team champions for a reason, Kevin Donovan has held every title in PRW for a reason. Kenny Shaw was as smug as he is for a reason. Jenna Jett occasionally hits someone with a spear.
Motoko is escorted back to her corner by Lucas Millar, telling her to wait for the tag. Kevin was slowly getting up on the outside but it's Jenna Jett, fresh as a daisy, who rolls into the ring and meets El Boomo's skull with her own version of one of Kevin's knee strikes before rolling out and helping Kevin up: Millar turning back and being none the wiser.
Kenny rolls off, chuckling to himself on account of the current breakdown, he himself relieved that he managed to get a shoulder up. As he pushes up and Kevin starts to climb onto the apron, Shaw takes a second to analyze Boomo. At a glance it would seem that he should have been the one who had to fight out of the pin; his body slumped over on its side. Kevin is standing now, a few feet from Boomo on the other side of the ropes. Kenny gets up and doesn't go for the tag; picking up the UK Luchador and taking him over with another snapmare. Kenny slaps on another rest hold, no doubt infuriating the fans with his unappealing offense.
Boomo becomes alive in the reverse chinlock, his eyes bulging out of his head as he reaches for his corner, despite it being 20 feet away. As the flailing slows, Boomo seemingly passes out. Children in the crowd look on intently as they are the only ones who could be completely oblivious as to what happens next. Millar grabs the spaghetti-like limb of El Boomo and holds it up in the air; letting it drop and calling it at "1." He holds the arm up a second time, invalids of all ages on the edges of their seats because they have no idea what's going to happen next, and the arm drops a second time. Space aliens, the amish, and people raised by wolves are in a frenzy as the suspense builds to this fever pitch: will Boomo's arm drop a third time on account of this rudimentary maneuver? Anyone who's IQ isn't higher than a toaster is fucking riveted as Millar grabs Boomo's wrist a third and final time. He holds it up and only a complete moron wouldn't know what's going to happen next. Millar let's go and Boomo keeps his arm straight!
Smith: HOLY FUCK, DID YOU SEE THAT!? IT'S FUCKING INCREDIBLE! BOOMO IS STILL IN THIS! Wow, give that guy a medal.
Brunswick: It's funny how people take the things you say seriously.
Much to the delight of Doug Smith, Boomo fights out of the sleep and starts to fight out of the hold. He turns in towards Kenny, hitting him with elbows to the ribs and forcing him to let go. Kevin tags himself in as Boomo starts to stand, leaping to the top rope off the slingshot and dropping Boomo with a springboard flying knee to the back of the head. Kevin covers.
ONE!
TWO!
Foot on the ropes!
Any commentator worth his salt would be letting you know what that means. For starters it disqualifies the pin attempt, but in regards to the wrestler's condition it also hints that he might not have the energy to fully kick out. Kevin pulls El Boomo upright, not quite sure where to take him next. We've been to the arm, we've bent it in ways it wasn't meant to be bent. It'll be there when we need it most. We've gone after the head and neck with our arms and feet: it'll be there when we need it most. Kevin takes a step back before taking a step in and throwing a kick to the back of El Boomo.
Kevin tags in Kenny, making a coded gesture to him as he pulls Boomo up to his feet from the standing headscissors. Shaw lays back and puts his knees up while Kevin hooks both arms behind Boomo's back. He lifts him up and releases at the apex, cradling the leg and slamming him against Kenny's knees. The agony that shows on the exposed parts of El Boomo's face register loud and clear to anyone with a functioning spine. He writhes on the canvas while Kevin helps Kenny up to his feet and steps to the apron.
Kenny pulls El Boomo to his feet and bends him over before hammering his elbow into the back of his neck, letting El Boomo drop to a knee. Shaw hovers over El Boomo's torso as he tries to crawl before jumping down with a hip drop to the lower back. Boomo stops his crawl, reaching for Motoko before Kenny takes ahold of that arm, luckily the same arm they've been working this entire match, before stepping over and repeating the motion; dropping onto the joint with the back of his thigh. Kenny tags back in Kevin, having taken the brunt of the punishment this entire match.
Kevin pulls El Boomo up and quickly applies a standard armbar before hammering down on the shoulder with an elbow. Kevin ducks under with an arm wringer and takes Boomo down with a back leg trip; holding on with a top wristlock. Boomo is tired of the punishment and at this point Donovan is just showing off; not even doing anything really devastating. Boomo turns toward Donovan and hits him with a right cross to the chest; Kevin responds with tweaking the wrist. Boomo winces and then retaliates with a knee to the back; loosening Donovan's grip momentarily. He hits a second and a third knee before rolling back to his feet: Kevin still holding onto the wrist. Boomo gives Kevin the hammerlock as he stands, tagging him with a back elbow and then cinching the headlock, spinning to an arm lock, and then a drop toe hold: "The Tiger Spin."
Donovan eats canvas as Boomo rolls across the ring and tags in The Offered Hand. So many layers working in this match, from the countdown leading seamlessly to Boomo's entrance to Motoko as "The Offered Hand" to the luchador in peril as he came into the ring alone for a tag title match. Now Motoko steps around Donovan as he starts to stand, hitting him with a massive round kick to the chest. She hits another and another, beating on Kevin's heart with her shin, until Donovan kneels back and Motoko sets up the buzzsaw kick. She steps in and fires off, looking to decapitate Kevin entirely, but Donovan ducks the blow; Motoko spins out, and Kevin ducks through her legs. Kevin clutches the lovely lady of Osaka and stands tall with her on his shoulders. Motoko tries to keep from falling back, leaning forward, and allowing Kevin to slip his hand up and cradle her by the neck. Kevin holds her up before pulling her forward, like the Rubix Cube, but bastardizing it with a side sit-out: spiking her with a modified Death Valley Driver.
ONE!
TWO!
Boomo breaks it up!
Lucas Millar escorts El Boomo from the ring, letting Shaw enter the ring and assault Motoko while Donovan claps his hands in the air and rolls to the floor: faking the tag. Kenny has Motoko on her back and picks up her head before leaning into each elbow her throws to her head: pick up, drive in. Millar comes back to analyze, hearing the "tag" but still confirming with Shaw who attests to his innocence.
Kenny pulls Motoko up and takes her down with a headlock; cranking the neck until she uses her long legs to wrap around Shaw's neck and pull him back into a headscissors. Kenny writhes on the canvas, posting up into a headstand and stalling while Motoko sits up; not sure what he's doing. Some in the crowd follow suit with chants of "Chug! Chug! Chug!;" confusing the shit out of Sakuraba before Kenny pops out and shocks her with a dropkick to the chin. Kenny rolls through to absorb some of the reaction but the reaction is quite odd. He gets up and turns right into Motoko who barely registered the shot and hammers him with a Bionic Elbow right between the eyes.
Kenny gets up and gets met with a second. Motoko pulls Shaw up and takes him down with a snapmare, which he counters into a single leg takedown. Kenny rolls Sakuraba to her feet off the reverse pick up, cinching in a side headlock. Motoko backs him into the ropes and shoves him off, Kenny runs in with a step-up frankensteiner attempt but Motoko snaps off a falling powerbomb out of nowhere. She leans in for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
Kevin breaks it up with a running knee to the face! Motoko rolls back as Kenny rolls away from the carnage. As Lucas Millar comes in to send Donovan back to his corner, Motoko's partner has stormed into the ring and has taken Kevin down with a massive clothesline. Kevin gets to his feet and El Boomo knocks Donovan out of the ring with a jumping calf kick. Kenny, unaware of a lack of a tag, targets Boomo as he springs off the middle rope; cradling Boomo's head as he sits out with a Shaw Stunner. Kenny, going for the kill, drags El Boomo towards the corner and sets up the split-leg moonsault. Kenny leaps and swings his leg over, leaning back for the moonsault but is stopped in mid-air by... Boomo.
Kenny is stunned as Boomo holds him in the air with his legs ala "whee-airplane" before kicking Kenny back up onto the top rope. Boomo scrambles to his feet and hammers Kenny in the kidney with an elbow and shuts his eyes. He steps onto the middle rope, blindly reaching for Kenny's arm to duck under and hooks the leg. Boomo keeps his eyes clenched shut as he falls back, taking Kenny with him for a super backdrop. Boomo opens his eyes as Kenny rolls from the impact. He sits up, relieved that he survived and the crowd applauds that brave man's baby steps as he conquers his fear of heights. He pushes up and leans against the ropes before pulling himself up. He turns to follow up on Shaw, unaware of the Siege patent bottom-rope springboard dealy he set himself up for by the hand of Kevin Donovan. Kevin steps through the ropes, stepping off the bottom rope before whipping his other leg through the ropes and tags Boomo right on the jaw with a massive jumping high kick.
Boomo slinks in the corner, dying a warrior's death, and Kevin rolls him under the ropes to the floor. Kenny starts to rise and Motoko comes out of nowhere. She slips in behind Shaw and takes him down with a school boy before rolling him high on his neck with a prawn hold!
ONE!
TWO!
Kenny kicks out and with authority, knocking Motoko onto her back. The two rise and Kenny immediately goes for the superkick, Saku ducking the shot and nailing Shaw with an elbow off the turn. She goes for a waistlock on The IED and Kenny immediately answers with a drop toe hold. Kenny pounces on Mo, turning her over to set up the Sharpshooter but Motoko uses her leg strength to shove Kenny back; effectively colliding with Lucas Millar as he admonishes Kevin Donovan. With a domino effect, Millar nudges into Donovan who doesn't even look; spinning around and nailing Lucas with a back elbow before falling back to the corner.
With Millar down, Jett sneaks into the ring to get in her licks on Sakuraba. She charges in looking to sneak in another spear, this time to the lady of the match, but Motoko is quick; sidestepping Jett and sending her through the ropes to the floor. Motoko turns around and Kenny clobbers her with a Tiger Knee; getting a little bicycle action in the move.
Kenny grabs Motoko for a Spiral Bomb, setting up the old fashion way from the standing headscissors. He lifts her up and she flips out to her feet. Motoko gets a knee up to Shaw's midsection before running to the far ropes. Kimochi Marui clearly on her mind as she runs back to Shaw, grabbing him around the neck a swinging around into a front facelock. "He's done for." thinks Kevin as he slinks from the shadows it seems, jumping off of Kenny's back and hits Sakuraba with another high knee strike. The blow allows Kenny to shove Motoko back just a few steps before following her in and sending a pair to her pair courtesy of the John Woo dropkick; Motoko's head hitting the top turnbuckle with authority.
Kenny hangs back while Millar slowly comes to and Kevin runs over to Motoko and hits her with a step-up knee strike to the jaw. Kevin shoots the double and sits her on the top rope, climbing up facing her. Remembering he's not completely vile, he doesn't grind his genitalia into Motoko's face prior to hooking his knees around her neck as he drops back into the ring; whipping her off the turnbuckle into the waiting arms of Kenny Shaw who plants Motoko into the canvas with a powerbomb. Kevin rolls to the floor and pins El Boomo against the steps. It's all up to Kenny now.
Shaw steps through Saku's legs and ties them in a pretzel before hooking her foot under his arm and turning her onto her front. Kenny leans back on the Sharpshooter as Millar comes to, crawling into position to check for the submission.

Shaw leans back on the Sharpshooter, Motoko screaming in pain as her legs as pain arches down her wounded back and legs. Boomo looks in at Motoko, willing her on but Donovan has him trapped and unable to help.
Motoko pushes up off the mat with the remaining strength in her arms, her eyes on the ropes a few feet away, but Kenny senses her plans and leans back even further on the Sharpshooter.
Motoko fights back against the pain, but when her eyes catch the trapped Boomo she can only shake her head. Boomo squirms against Donovan, finally managing to fight free and shove KD aside!
Boomo turns and slides into the ring, looking to grab Motoko's arm.....
and Donovan grabs his ankle from the outside of the ring and yanks him back out!
Her hope of salvation gone, Motoko finally raises her hand and slaps the mat, submitting to the Sharpshooter!
Millar climbs to his feet and calls for the bell! The champs retain!
