I think there is a way you may be able to add objects in maps to push, pull and grip around and do damage to others. It was a project I had intended to experiment with but never got around to it. If I remember these objects are like NPCs. They can be given health, do damage, move, etc. If it could be worked out, they could be be permanently added to map files rather than have to spawn them. Then the map could be re released with these throwable objects. Here's the file I was going to start with: http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Throwable_Stuff;95699 Heres another obect file: http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/KotO...p_Objects;77747 Might be something worth trying to add a new element to the fighting like in the movies (and the first jk game). |

Seems like I did look at this when the file 1st appeared a few years back but didn't have much luck in getting it to work. I know both Solid and I are trying to get the final changes implemented on the new FM3CE & FM3EXP versions but your welcome to see if you have any better luck with it (it would be a great addition if we could add it in). I myself am approaching "burn-out" status on trying to get all these last minute changes in to finally complete the mod (been working on it for a year) and already told Solid that he has until end of January to get the working Beta FM3EXP version done with all the new models and that end-of-February is my last day of development of the FM3CE series and will solely concentrate on playing and rebuilding the FM3 community. After February if any further bugs are found we will of course release fixes but the development will stop for the time being until I can see more players online. As I mentioned to several players at some point we need to get out of the labratory and get back to playing again. Besides if the mods' still not good enough after these last changes then there's really no point in continuing the modifications but I know we have a great version as compared to the original series. If I didn't have faith that it was superior and more balanced then I would of stopped a long time ago. |
