Okies . . .

Some things people may or may not already know about moi :

I am 20 years of age ( okie so maybe you already knew that )

I am a gothy chica ( okies so maybe you already knew that too )

I have a baby ( I bet you didn't see that one coming )

AND

I do not always speak like a retard . . . jst sumtyms I cnt Rsist ! XD

I am sure I have everyones undivided attention as of this moment hehehehe

SO my reason for revealing this information to teh members of tish forum is this: I am scared. "WHY?!?!" you ask ( yes I heard you ) and let me tell you it is not for the reasons you are thinking ( yes I heard those too ). My son is one and a half years old . . . 19 months to be exact. Altho I seem like a freaky-deaky lady I have my moments of normallity that allow me to properly care for my baby ( ie; Ish nt alwyz as tnk as u weird I m ). It is not the prospect of raising a child at such an early age or being a semi-single partent that scares meh. O no tats not it. This is my story:

It was a dark and stormy night ( all my stories start off like this ) and I had put my son ( Zack ) down to bed as normal as can be. I climbed into bed myself then and fell fast asleep . . . THEN! I awake and it is late at night. The clock reads 4:30 in the morning. I am preparing to make another attempt at sleep when I notice there is something by my feet. Curious. Very close I was to kicking this thing by my feet, assuming it be just a pesky cat cramping my style. Something stopped me tho . . . I took a closer look at just what had curled up at my feet and I am shocked! It is my son, Zackary . . .

Now you must be asking yourself "WTF is so weird/scary about that" ( I didn't hear it but I know you asked ). Here's the kicker: I do not remember waking up to the sound of him crying. I do not remember getting a bottle and putting him back to sleep. My son cannot climb out of his crib yet. He has tried and failed. He's very stong and an excellent little gymnist but he is just not capable of such an act yet. Also if he did manage to climb out, he would have done so ungracefully, landing painfully onto the ground for certain. That would have made him cry no doubt. Yet there was no crying . . . none at all. He's not tall enough to climb onto my bed without using a chair for assistence. If had done so he would have had to climb over me to get to his location at the foot of my bed. AND he most certainly would not have merely put himself back to sleep after making such effort to reach me in the first place. This is why I am scared. I have no recollection of how my son got out of his crib, into my bed, and fell asleep at my feet. Neither of my room mates have any clue either. I can only guess that when he awoke in the middle of the night, and I went to put him back to sleep, I was not coherent enough to realize what I was doing. This scares me. I have never slept walked before or any such nonsence. I cannot think of any other explanation tho . . . :dontgetit:

hmm...I had no idea you had a kid Jess never told me....maybe it was for my own good and just because you have a kid does'nt mean I'll stop likeing you far from it I still do and always will. You my friend have a ghost on your hands and you will have him forever.....the ghost I mean...I have nothing else to say....and it was'nt really a shock to me though I have a ghost to. I just hope the ghost does'nt try to take Zack away from you...because it's obvious what he wants....and that's a kid...unless hmm...never mind what do I look like a ghostbuster?....lol

too far in you read things bebi
as you know I beleive in ghosts... but i don't use them for every weird thing... a more likely and probable explanation that she just slept walked, i've slept walked one or two times before and its weird, but most people will sleep walk a few times in thier life

you would be surprised what people can do in thier sleep, sleep walk is only a term, you can and do much more than walk but bassically sleep walking is when people will perform normal, everydays tasks (even have sex in some cases) while being compleatly asleep, well "asleep" isnt the right term either, its more like your conciousness is just shut off, you are awake... you just don't know it... its very hard to explain hehehe but I've heard of people driving cars (safely) and such... so what you did wasnt that big a stretch, you just did what you would always do.... you bassicaly were running on a type of auto pilot, and you were able to do it so well because you've done it countless times in the past, so no thought or concentration was needed...

dont worry... you ussualy act the same way as if you were awake... you just don't rember(or know) what you did

There is some things about the sleep walking theory that do not quite fit into the puzzle the way they should. He should not have been at the foot of the bed for one . . . and there should have been a bottle somewhere in the room. I suppose tho . . . it's possible that he never actually woke up. Maybe I picked him up since doing so is such an every night task. Altho I still can't imagine why he was at the foot of the bed. It's a mystery but I am not going to let it bother me any longer. I really wish I could figure out exactly what happend that night . . . but I don't think that is possible.

I agree with Compact Disk over there: you probably jus slept walked over to your son and picked him up, as you said you normally do. Then ya must've kinda.. lost thought... in your sleep..walking..(?? I'm not sure what I said.)(I think ya know what I mean) and ya put him down on ht e foot of yer bed and went ta sleep.

Yush I believe that, besides cosmic beings coming and abducting my son in the middle of the night, that thats the most logical explanation. I do now hold a slight fear of sleepwalking . . . I don't like not being in control of myself one lil bit. I am just happy that I didn't trip or something terrible like that when I picked him up that night and that everything turned out ok. But I hope nothing like that happens again, and this will certainly be a bit of a mystery that I shall not ever forget . . . I look forward to telling Zackary about it when he is older tho XD

It'll be a funny story to tell 'im. Come to think of it, my mom's said I've slept walked a few times and she says that say the name of my brother over and over. She guesses I have dreams of him dyin' or somethin'. It is creepy when ya trhink about it.
