We should really put some serious thought into this. Does anyone have any suggestions? The best I could come up with was "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. I can't think of any good ones... I guess I'll keep looking, but I'm sure that some of you have good songs to share. Heh, the song list is almost done! Come on, guys! I know you can think of a good ending song.

Seriously, getting me involved with creating a soundtrack? It's something equivalent to asking your history teacher to recite everything he or she remembers about... well... the history of something, different teachers probably have details memorized for different events... Anyway, the point is, it opens up a flood of content that's probably more than anyone wants or needs, but since we can't sell this, and thus, the files can't and or won't be normal CD quality, we could probably cram roughly 120 songs onto this, if we were so inclined (at 5mb per track, on a 600 mb CD, which means that for most songs and on most CDs, we could actually do more). I don't plan to do -that- much, but hey, you never know... especially if we get into instrumental tracks, I have a lot more of those that fit than I do vocal ones (sing about something OTHER than love for once, would you?). I would like to point out, however, that we shouldn't finalize anything for this CD right now. I may or may not be one of the last people to create characters for this thing (hopefully things will have calmed down enough by the end of this week for me to seriously work on them, but knowing my school that won't happen...), but my point is more that a lot of times a character's theme might be related to what happens in them throughout the story, not just who they are at.... I dunno, my impression is that we're somewhere towards the beginning. Besides, sometimes there are themes for characters who have close relationships with each other, and you can't always predict those (I'd cite Hikaru and Flent but I'm not convinced that one wasn't planned....)... In terms of ending themes, though, my impression was that the theme for Angel was what we were using, but I'll have to ask Digi (she just hopped off for a sec... smacks forehead)... eX Dream might work if we have an open slot there, though it's not very ending theme-ish. And in case you were wondering, yes, I have all but siezed control of this project. BOW BEFORE ME MORTAL FOOLS! Except Digi... she gets to say yes or no to stuff still... But BOW BEFORE ME MORTAL FOOLS WHO AREN'T DIGITALDREAMER! Yeah... I've been somewhat stressed lately... does it show? :rolleyes:

I was sorta thinking about maybe making a new character also, but not sure yet After all, the first day is ending now, and I don't know how many days that Digi plans on doing it, so... yeah. More songs is always good. I use too many smileys. But this one goes with my avatar.

Maybe it could be a multi-volume thing if we end up with enough songs, and we could work on each volume as we go, after finishing the last one... Although that may be too much to do, for those of us with heavy study-loads and such... It's a thought, though.

The Betrayer of the People and a Tyranical Capitalist Pig-Dog Posts: 1,111 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: June 16, 2005	Granted, we could do multiple OSTs, but on the other hand, there's absolutely nothing stoping us from loading this one with like, 100 songs, because we'd have no trouble fitting them all onto a CD, even if it wouldn't be the best quality... Though actually, now that I think about it, that's not formatting it as an audio CD, to format it I think we're typically only given 70 minutes, so maybe multiple ones would be a good idea... certainly a second would be further down the road, though, so Digi can take a break in between designing the things and the RP can advance more than a DAY (seriously, guys... 1 day in 50 pages? A week of this and we'd have a moderately long novel!). That, and we could always do a multiple CDs to an OST thing, like the soundtrack to Kingdom Hearts, since we can't exactly do anything with these except maybe mail copies off to each other... which may be illegal, but certainly no more so than this itself, and not to the point where anyone's likely to care... As long as I'm posting, got Digi to approve some new songs as... I guess as generic themes, though they're up for grabs if anyone has a particular use for them... If we're gonna have multiple soundtracks we can probably claim to have multiple opening and ending themes. Oh, and we need a "next episode preview" theme just for the Hell of it... I know I have "The Promised Meeting" from Gundam SEED... let's see... Gankutsuou uses the very end of the TV sized "You won't see me coming," so not sure if that will work, Gundam SEED Destiny uses some song I don't know the title of, then a clip of Vestige by TM Revolution (which I'd consider using if I could find the lyrics... though it's not one of TM's best), then a clip of something else... anyway, I'll look for something. The Promised Meeting is pretty good if we don't have anything great to use there, and it's only like, 30 seconds long. Pride by High and Mighty Color, the second opening to Gundam SEED Destiny (what can I say, lots of references to 'wings' in Gundam songs...). I'm thinking that the instrumentalists and vocalist(s?) from High and Mighty Color should go solo... or at least, ditch the rappers or something... Their songs (in my experience, anyway) are always really cool but then they do something weird to them like the rap in Pride and the screaming bit in Ichirin no Hana (Bleach's 3rd opening). I suppose it's by Kira Yamato's voice actor from Gundam SEED, because it's his image song, and that seems to be customary, but I don't know the name, and apparently neither did the people who submitted the lyrics to Anime Lyrics. If anyone starts losing sleep over it, though, I'll be sure to look it up :rolleyes: . Or like, give some feedback or whatnot. I KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE! THE RP IS STILL BEING POSTED IN! APPRECIATE MY HARD WORK! OR ELSE! Okay, so it was more fun than work, and it wasn't so much hard as getting Digi around and thinking of a song then running a quick google search for lyrics and a download, but... Edit: As a side note, I just realized that those two sets of lyrics I posted for Pride are actually the same lyrics... how did I miss THAT?

Two, actually. 1) Echoes, by Kajiura Yuki (For the .hack//SIGN OST) 2) Key of the Twilight (don't ask, whenever I listen to this one I keep imagining him running away to the forest so he can transform) by Kajiura Yuki (For the .hack//SIGN OST again, evidently) You can put both in, or just one in, or maybe not at all. Preferably not the latter :ph43r: I don't know how to actually post the songs, but if you look the keywords up (preferably the artist name, because the song titles are so cliche and there's bound to be more hits than what we asked for) up in some p2p program and download it, obviously you can listen to it.

First, because this is a great idea that was never finished, and definitely should be. Second, and equally important, I think I found a great ending song. I was watching House today(very good episode, btw), and a song came on at the end. I noticed that it was about an angel, and immediately thought about this thread. So I looked up the lyrics online, and found this song: Waiting On an Angel by Ben Harper I really think we should finish this project, guys. Or at least a "first draft" version. We're so close. I really want to listen to this FAOST, don't you?
