Friendly Neighborhood GM Posts: 2,375 Group: Organization Member #35 Joined: August 28, 2005	Okay, I know this is a bit OT, but this is RP-related and I’m the RP staff so I say it’s fine. Right, so here’s the deal…we’re making an OST of sorts for FA. Ohhh, exciting! So it’s kinda like pretending the RP is an anime and we’re making a soundtrack for it. We need theme songs, background music, character themes, things like that! Basically, the songs can be anything. All you need to do is see if the songs music, feel, and lyrics fit the RP and then just post it here and Kaya and I will see if it’s good. If you have a song in mind, it’d be great if you could give me the lyrics and an MP3 of the song so we can hear it. Everyone who’s a part of the FA RP, I need a character theme from each of you. You can also talk with others if you want your character to have a sort of double-theme with another character, but you’ll still need one for your character. For instance, Luffy and Zoro have a theme for both of them together, and then each of them has their own song. Ohhh, exciting! You can pick out an existing song or make one from scratch, but making one from scratch will be pretty hard… For your character’s theme it doesn’t have to seem like a song your character would sing, so long as it fits their personality. You can also submit music for the theme song (we do need a theme and ending song, after all!), background music, insert songs, anything! Once we’re got everything I’ll put it together as one file and set it up for download, complete with a cover and everything! So come on, let’s get started! Emergency food supply Posts: 94 Group: Members Member #61 Joined: October 4, 2005	Voices Silently Sing is news to me, I shall have to bum it off of you. You also forgot to say who it was by. Somebody Else's Song is by Life House, and Conquest of Paradise is by the composer Vangelis. And we forgot to add Alpha and Hymne, also by Vangelis. Alpha is Flent's instrumental theme. Catch You Catch Me, the first opening theme of Card Captor Sakura, is Yasha's theme. Is Sound The Bugle by whatshisface still Sora's theme, Crys? We should also throw in Don't Stop Me Now by Queen. Kill the Queen!~ And the Windmill Hut from the LoZ:OoT OST should be Hikaru's 'Panic Mode' song. X3 And do we even need a reason to include King of Sorrow from the Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil OST? I'm still trying to decide Flent's main theme....

Heck, all I have is my laptop, in which 95% of the hard drive space is One Piece episodes. Anyway, I think I have some good ideas for songs. Three, actually. You should take a look at them. I think they go along with the theme pretty well. Hmm... this is going to be one long post. EDIT: The song names are the links ====== 'Kay, here's my idea for Leon's theme. I think they go perfectly well with each other, the first with the "starless night" lyric and the second with "the stars shine so bright." They also go well with the "Angels" theme, I believe. The sort of 'opening' theme for FA was supposed to be Angels Losing Sleep by Our Lady Peace, but neither Crys nor I can find the song. Does anyone have it?

Zev was almost easy (I narrowed it down to three Thursday songs and this one just fit the best. I thought a slower, softer song would work better for him (and almost used Enya's La Soñadora, but Zev's not too spanish. ^^), but I am stuck between two songs for Ryoko. They are as follows. I'm not sure how many might need the lyrics, and I only put up the ones for Thursday because sometimes it's hard to understand them. ^^' Blue Weekend - Ryoko Theme Two Translation: At the train station platform on the way back from the beach our shoulders lightly touch, and we feel uneasy. "Hardware Store" by Weird Al Okay, I know that there's almost no chance of that getting in, but it's good for a laugh, right? Possible names: "Screwdriver theme," "Breaking stuff theme," "Leon on caffine theme." =========================================== I think this one goes with Angels/Losing/Sleep pretty well. I'm not really meaning to nominate two P.O.D. songs, but this one does feel pretty good for the whole "Forgotten Angels" thing. I had forgotton about it yesterday. It's the theme song from "The Matrix: Reloaded". I don't know what theme it would be for, maybe a "Forgotten" theme or something, or like a filler song. Sleeping Awake Hmm... maybe the "We're scared of the mysterious poeple who want to kill us" theme... or the "We have cool powers but can't tell anyone so we're lonely" theme.

XD And Kanthia wins major points for liking Billy Joel songs. I've been thinking about Flent a lot, and for some reason I keep coming back to my first idea for his song--which, if I'm not mistaken, started this whole idea of the soundtrack, actually. You can all blame the song Bad Day by Daniel Powter.
