OOC: I should of seen this coming................oh well. Good news, you actully get a preview of the song. Kiss From a Rose: By Seal Chopper was stretching and moving in circular motion. After doing his stretches, he grabbed his music and started to practice. “This time, I’m going to do better” he whispered it himself. His name was called, only this time he didn’t take a gulp. He was ready, if he could pass by a hair, than he would be ready. Kiss from a Rose by Seal. He began with a small hum, as the piano began. He held the microphones close to him, singing calmly and carefully, his head hanging low. The lighting was very dim purple and blue. There used to be a greying tower alone on the sea. He quickly hummed again, as he lowered his head and the lights changed back to a dim color of purple and blue. He slowly swayed back and forth, tilting the microphone some more. There is so much a man can tell you, So much he can say. You remain, He started to sing louder until he partly yelled and sing my pain, than back to the slow tempo. OOC:I was really desperate for a song, sorry if it doesn't match him. If it's got *s around the line he's deepened his voice. I doubt this is very good, so give me whatever score you beleive it deserves. Numb IC: Ace heard his name and opened one eye. His turn again? Well, there goes the rest of his nap. He stood up and got on the stage. He looked around for a quick minute and then signaled that he was ready and the song came on. He then waited for the actual singing part and he began to sing. "I'm tired of being what you want me to be Feeling so faithless, lost under the surface. Don't know what you're expecting of me, Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes." He quickly switched to a different voice as he sang the next line, but after it he switched back, but once again switched back to it when he repeated the line. "*Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow.* Every step that I take is another mistake to you *Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow*" He sang out a bit louder and with a bit more confidence. "I've become so numb, I can't feel you there I've become so tired, so much more aware I'm becoming this, all I want to do Is be more like me and be less like you" He began the voice switching again. He was getting himself lost in the song. "Can't you see that you're smothering me, Holding too tightly, afraid to lose control, Cause everything that you thought I would be, Has fallen apart, right in front of you *Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow.* Every step that I take is another mistake to you *Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow* And every second I waste is more than I can take! I've become so numb, I can't feel you there I've become so tired, so much more aware I'm becoming this, all I want to do Is be more like me and be less like you" He just continued singing, he was way too lost in this song. He just sang the last three parts of the song with a loud and strong voice. "And I know, I may end up failing too, But I know You were just like me with someone disappointed in you! I've become so numb, I can't feel you there. I've become so tired, so much more aware. I'm becoming this, all I want to do. Is be more like me and be less like you. Finally the song was over and he began to relax a bit as the song's ending tune slowly faded away and he set the microphone down. Now all he needed was a really long nap... |
